I was referred to lash lounge by my best friend. She had work done there recently and I was absolutely in love with it. I will say that I don't have experience with lashes or anything that they service here. This is my first time and I am very picky where I go, but since my best friends lashes look so amazing. I thought I'd try. This place was relatively close to me so I thought I'd stop by in person to check out there business. Service was great and booking was fairly easy. They do require a $25 deposit so I booked my appointment. I did change my appointment a couple times just because I was a little hesitant and didn't feel ready. Sometime later, I decided to move forward since I was going on a trip and really wanted lashes. so I was booked for beginning of January. Day of my appt I was greeted by front desk, and then my lash technician took me to the back. She sat me on the bed and she began to wash the lashes as she started applying the glue in the lashes, I realize that there was an extreme heat sensation and extreme pain sensation. I tried my very best not to complain or say anything, but it got to the point where it was bothersome. I mentioned to the technician that I felt an extreme burning sensation inside my eyeball so she immediately stopped and said let me change the glue as soon as she stopped a few moments later, the burning went away, but I was still very concerned because it hurt like hell. When the glue was changed, all went well. She finished my lash extension. I paid and I was on my way. The next day I left out of town and just short of a week I realized that on one of the lashes there was for lack of better words "crust" on the eyelid . I've never had anything like this before and just thought it was dryness so I applied extra lotion throughout the day. It became uncomfortable as days progressed and became worse a week later. I came back and I stopped into lash lounge and advised them and they even saw themselves. They asked if I had washed it. I said yes they said if I had bought their products, I said no I was never Advised to buy their product for washing eyelashes. They said because of the "fires the debris could've gone into my eye" which didn't makes sense to me because I wasn't in town. They did advise that they can remove them however I don't see how this would've resolved anything. I didn't ask, but if they would've removed them, would they have refunded me? I don't think so, so I was just curious as to what that would've been done at the time. I did not have time to get them removed so I said no, but I did ask if they can let a supervisor know, and they agreed that they would let the owner know which a month now later I have not heard back. I'm not saying that this will happen to everyone, but this did happen to me which is very unfortunate because a month and a half later the side that "didn't get infected/crust/"debris" is still intact with lashes and the on the other the lashes fell out including my own, so I'm a bit disappointed. read more

Looking for a quick fill because I was in town for the holiday, I made an appointment for a classic fill. Whoever helped me via Yelp was very friendly. I received a call to set up an appointment but I was surprised with the $25 booking fee. Regardless, I paid the fee and was able to come in two days later. I am not giving a full five stars because of issues with the staff via miscommunication/professionalism and because I was contacted a second time about my appointment because I assume staff were not in contact with each other regarding my information. I had to let them know I had already made an appointment. When I came in for my fill, my appointment started about 15 minutes late. Then my esthetician was very sweet but she didn't know how to lash my very sparse inner corners! She ended up lashing my bottom inner corners instead of the top and my lashes were glued together when I opened my eyes. She had to pull off my inner corner bottom lashes in order to get my eyes to open. She also didn't give me a mirror to look at them at the end. I didn't want to be too harsh on this review but I was not 100% satisfied with my fill. read more

Morgan!!!! Morgan is THE BEST lash stylist I've ever seen (and I've been to several who either are way to aggressive, get glue in your eyes, the lashes don't hold, or just not that skilled). Morgan is clearly a pro and a tremendous asset to this business. 10/10 recommend her. If she leaves I will follow her anywhere. UPDATE: owner followed up with me and is working to make it right. Based on responsiveness of owner and committing to refund for the lift and indicate areas they do well (lash extensions) I am increasing my rating. Will follow up on how other services are here after trying them. Take your money elsewhere - I should have read the limited reviews but I had a similar experience to another client being rescheduled/cancelled on twice. I wish I had just fully canceled this time because the stylist butchered my eyebrows on the threading and said threading doesn't shape brows which is just fundamentally incorrect. At minimum it shouldn't leave a massive gaping spot where hair used to be and should be. On the lash lift I got - it wasn't a lift - my lashes are no more curled than when I walked in the door and was a massive waste of $79 and 90 minutes of my life. Please listen to the reviews on horrible scheduling experience and looking at a review below I am pretty convinced they were out of the material to lash lift (as mentioned in a review 9 days ago) and essentially pretended to do the lash lift for me read more

I came here for a lash lift with Barbara. The ladies at the front desk were very kind. I showed up for my 6pm appointment and was not called to the back until 6:20pm. The woman at the front desk noticed me waiting and gave me 10% off for my wait, which was very kind. My lash tech seemed very nice. I went over what I wanted with her and told her I did not want my lashes curled but just lifted straight up to provide a more lengthened look. After she was done, my lashes only looked slightly different which was very disappointing. I feel like they were curled too much, not lifted enough and they also looked shorter to myself and my family. I was told I was not allowed to wear mascara for the first 24 hours and I was also told that I could only come back in the first 24 hours for them to fix my lash lift so I had to decide whether I wanted to wait to try the mascara or have her fix my lashes. I didn't feel comfortable going through another lash process since I felt like my lash tech didn't give me the desired results that we both discussed. I tried mascara today and my lashes look a lot shorter than they did before and little to no difference in lift. I feel scammed and like I waisted my time and money. This service is not worth the $79 y'all. You would come out better just getting a heated lash curler. I won't be back. The facility itself is nice and the women at the front desk are very kind but the lash lift is pointless and leaves your lashes feeling hard and like wire. I wasted 3 hours of my life in your salon, in Ladera heights. I signed up for a volume lash appointment with a trainee at a discounted price. The expectation was not set prior to my appointment, after I arranged for a babysitter, I was told that I would not get my desired look and I would have to come again the following week and pay again. If I had known then I would've just paid full price and not wasted time and money on a babysitter that day.After being contacted by the receptionist with a bad attitude about my review. It made the experience even worse. Not to mention that I looked the same when I left after laying there uncomfortably for 3 hours. My mother and I both went on this day and my mother in law cancelled her appointment the same day and said that it wasn't worth the trip for her. I would not recommend this place. Poor quality products and stylists rush to finish their appointments. 1st visit: I came here for the first time in early March. I booked an appt over the phone with the manager, who wasn't very clear about their current special with certain stylists. I told her my sister and I wanted a hybrid full set. She offered the special and worded it as if that special was applied to every lash tech but I found out while checking out, that it was only applied to one tech who wasn't even there that day. My tech was very nice and accommodating, but she kept asking me questions about what length, volume, and style I wanted when I was new to lash extensions. I felt like she should've known by my eye shape which looks best given what I told her I wanted. She was asking things like "Do you want 8-9mm, c curl, d curl, etc". Again, I was new to getting lash extensions, so her asking those questions and still not suggesting which type of lashes to get made her look like a rookie. I was 70% satisfied with the overall look, and I need to be 100% satisfied when I spend money on any beauty service. I felt like for the money I paid, my strip lashes looked better than what I got. I decided that maybe I wasn't used to seeing myself with lash extensions and proceeded to book a fill and let my tech know that I wanted them longer and fuller next round. By day 4, I was getting a lot of fallout. That's too soon if you ask me. 2nd occurrence: I had my fill two weeks after my first appointment and although my tech said I had good retention, it didn't look like it. My appointment took about an hour this time and again, my tech was very nice and gentle. Close to the end of my appointment though, the receptionist came in asking how much longer my tech had to finish me and she replied that she was almost done. The receptionist replied, "Okay because your next appointment is here". I thought that was weird that she was scheduled two different clients an hour in between each other when fills can last just as long as full sets depending on retention and what time a client even gets to the salon. Everyone isn't going to be on time and the way they schedule appointments reflects that they don't consider that the client can be late, but yet they don't enforce the 15-minute grace period that they allegedly have. 3rd occurrence: I didn't even make it to this appointment. I left my house at a reasonable time and got stuck in horrible traffic due to the LA Marathon. My appt was scheduled for 4pm and they close at 5. I don't know why they booked a lash fill an hour before closing but they did :-) By the time my GPS said that my ETA would be 4:22 pm, I called the salon to let them know and see if maybe I should rebook or if they had any insight on how long I'd have if I were to get there at 4:22. The receptionist said I could still come in but my appointment would only be 30 mins because they close at 5 pm that day. I asked her, "So because you close at 5, my lash tech isn't allowed to finish the service I'm paying full price for?" she said yes. I was very turned off by that and that policy screams "money hungry". I pushed back by saying that I have bad retention and it doesn't seem smart to assume every client will have good retention and/or be on time and to book appointments down to the last hour of business, which doesn't allow techs to finish services. We kept going back and forth until I decided that I wasn't going to waste my time so I just said I'd rebook and turned back to go home. I went a week with crazy-looking lashes because they were falling out in clumps by week 3. Now that I found somewhere else to go for my lashes, I realized that this chain doesn't have quality products. After day 1, there was a lot of fall out, glue wasn't strong enough clearly, and the final looks always looked sparse, even when I got a fuller set on my 2nd visit. In my opinion, their services aren't worth the money they're charging because the stylists are too busy trying to finish their appointments in time to care about what their clients want. From the outside looking in as a customer, it seems as if this chain doesn't properly schedule appointments so that their employees aren't overwhelmed or rushing to finish particular services to beat the clock. The way they schedule appts for their techs reminds me of how it used to be for me when I worked at a popular bridal chain: Stylists were allowed a limited amount of appointment time, and minimal time in between appointments to set up for the next one. I hope their practices change. The staff is great though. read more

The lift and tint took much longer than usual and they got the black tint all over my eyelids. I had to ask for a solution to remove the tint myself and it still didn't come off. They gave me 10% off for the wait time but I would not recommend coming here for a lash lift and tint. read more

I love this place! I have been getting my lash extensions done at this location for almost a year now since they opened, and I have received amazing service every visit. The consistency has been on point and the convenience in scheduling is unmatched. Everyone (from the receptionists to the stylists to the owner) has been so kind and dedicated to making sure you have a great experience. Even when I had an issue with my first full set (this was during training last year), I was immediately taken care of and everything was corrected. The owner truly made an effort to make things right, and I really appreciated/respected that. I signed up for a membership and have been going back for fills ever since. I've had my fills done by several different stylists now, and you can't go wrong with any of them - they all do great work and I usually fall asleep because they're so gentle.
