I've only came here a few times and the times I did come they were great. My eyebrows were almost perfection. I went about 2 weeks and I unfortunately I was disappointed. They do not listen to what you ask for. I asked for JUST clean up on the brows and to leave the ends thick as I don't like thin brows. I repeated this multiple times very clearly. They straight up didn't listen at all and my brows are super thin. I'm going to a wedding and I look ridiculous with very thin eyebrows now. I was super clear in my instructions and they didn't listen at all just did whatever they wanted and not what I asked. Super disappointed I'd avoid at all costs! There's a million threading shops in LA try any of those and do not go to this one if you have instructions. Also the shop was filthy (normally I'd over look if I was happy with the outcome but given how bad the threading was thought I would include that detail as well). Admittedly, the last couple of months have been inconsistent, as the person Daxa hired to help her wasn't the best. I never got her name, but her attitude wasn't great and I was not happy with her threading. Whenever I dropped by it always happened to be her, so I stopped going for awhile. I went in today and chatted with Daxa about it to make her aware of what was going on. Easy parking in the front (it's in the strip mall across from target). Daxa was great at my eyebrow threading! There was no wait when I came in and she was fast (but still thorough), she was gentle, and my eyebrows look great. I went somewhere else recently who literally told me she wouldn't do my top arch on one eyebrow so everything was extremely messy and uneven coming in, but I left with nice clean brows. $12 for eyebrow threading seems about average for the area, and she takes cash credit or apple pay. read more

This place is absolutely horrible do not come here if you want your eyebrows to end up completely messed up. I have never gone out of my way to write a review but today really did it for me. I came here and she didn't ask what I wanted so I showed her a picture of what I had in mind. She glanced at it and started doing my brows. Never asked for what I wanted never stopped to show me if it was okay. This has been by far the worst my eyebrows have ever been done. I don't know if she was busy watching her show or BLIND but one of my eyebrows is insanely thin and one of them is somewhat ok. She still charged me 14 dollars for the crappy job. I will be choosing not to go back to Daxa solely because of the owners consistent rude behavior and tone I've experienced. I'm sad to see so many similar reviews because I personally do like the way she does my eyebrows and have not had any issues for years. This is my first review on yelp and I'm leaving it to warn others like many people have about how her attitude can ruin the overall service experience. I almost always leave Daxa's with a bad taste in my mouth and have tried to not let it affect my business since I like the way she leaves my eyebrows but today I felt like I had enough of her temper and bitterness. The last few times I have asked for.them just to be cleaned up because I've been trying to get them to grow in fuller. It's never been a problem before, and my session always ended with being told to rub castor oil on at night to help :-) Today was different. She was a personal call, and im not sure if it put her in a bad mood but she had an attitude and was short with me rude when asking questions and seemed confused as to what to do. Went in for a waxing. They don't know how to wax properly. Your skin should not be bleeding in multiple spots because of the way they wax. I have done waxing for years and never experienced this. I noticed how dirty their wax station was after. That is a major issue. They are not ashamed to provide waxes while their work environment looks like that. read more
