Things went well at first until the technician repeatedly failed to get the needed scan and I physically could not open my eye any wider despite her repeated insistence that I do exactly that. So I was a bit hesitant to come here due to reviews, but since my sister had gotten her lasik done a while ago with them it was worth a shot. I'm a bit confused by the negative reviews, honestly I am. Maybe they got rid of all of the old staff, revamped, rebranded who knows but my experience has been wonderful. The staff is unbelievably friendly, really try to get to know you, hardly a wait at all (no more than an expected 5-10 mins), they were knowledgeable and remembered my name when I can back in! They offered a special initially when I called and when I came in there was some confusion about some of the details and I was a bit discouraged. However I still made an apt as what the mentioned was still a good deal. I was super surprised to get a call the very next day from the original woman I spoke with over the phone. She apologized for the mix up and assured me I'd get the originally deal!!!Her calling me back the next day completely sold me to get the procedure done with them as she didn't have to give that special especially since I already booked. My sisters doctor was Dr. Anthony who works primarily in Vienna so he did my procedure. They said everything went really well during the follow ups and they said the work was very well done. I will say my vision was not as clear as I thought it would be after hearing feedback from a few people who got it done. Most said next day they were good but for me (-6.00) it took about 3 days to feel comfortable driving. It's been a couple of weeks and it's still not quite there, but they said that's expected and will get better with time. Overall extremely happy with service and procedure so far! I've been wearing glasses for 18 years and for the longest time i thought my vision was permanently damaged, i went here for a consultation and learned that not only do i have really healthy eyes but also that I've been wearing the wrong glasses for a year! I have been coming at this branch for 4 years for my annual eye check-up but I was totally disappointed today. After my pupil was dilated for an hour, I noticed that 5 clients was already seen by the doctor. I am sure, I checked-in prior to this clients. I have to come to the counter and complained about it. One of the employee said that the doctor was first seeing patient who has a quick consultation and that's when I raise my voice. Then I was seated in the examination room. The Doctor saw me after 2 minutes. The Doctor was professional and was wearing a badge/name plate. Why can't the rest of the employee wear one? I want to know who I am transacting with. I had PRK vision surgery yesterday. The doctor did an absolutely amazing job. He explained every step of the procedure and really helped put me at ease. The office staff was pleasant and helpful. They told me that people who have PRK have a longer healing process. This morning, I woke up and can read the clock across the room. I haven't been able to do that for as long as I remember! My only complaint was that they were running about 2 hours behind for the appointment, which seems to be a common thing from the reviews. Procedure was great. However, make sure you allot no less than 6 hours for an appointment. Don't bother showing up on time. They'll put you in an exam room and leave you to rot. This is 4th time here for an appt and the third time I've been left to sit in a room with no communication, as staff walks by constantly, only to look at you and move on. I would give zero stars if possible. I wanted to be excited about this place but was not. My appointment started off standard and then I was left waiting forever. I read reviews that this was an issue - but trust me.. it is. I had asked for honest estimates of the time commitment and had explained that I had other appointments to follow. After 2 hours, the exam was still not complete. I had to walk out for my next appointment. It's been two weeks and I have yet to receive a call back or follow up after leaving. I ended up scheduling a consult with someone else 2 days later and had my procedure the same week. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. There are others that are better. read more

The staff was alright. But the surgery wait time they give is 4-6 hours, for a procedure that takes less than 15 minutes. I've been here for 8 hours and my wait continues. The price is fair but not so great that I would have chosen this company had I known that this was how they operate. read more

I absolutely loved it here! The staffing has been so great. There are snack everywhere which was my favorite part lol. Tina and Chelsea treated me so good and walked me through what exactly to expect. Dr.Roberts is amazing he plays music and talks to you throughout the surgery just making it more comforting. I didn't rate it a 5 just due to the wait, however, they had a lot of clients. The procedure it's self was very quick with no pain so far. I would defiantly recommend if you are looking into LASIK to come here. read more

My husband received a call about scheduling an appointment for my 1-year check up a few weeks back. During this call, it was only mentioned that he should schedule one. Now he needs a medical release to join the military and the appointment is $100. It's supposed to be free. At no point in time did anyone say there was a deadline to get a check up. He works full-time and his days off are typically the days the facility is closed which he explained to the person who called. The man assured him it was fine to call back and make the appointment for another time. It's just the same as when he got the surgery and they had an additional medication for him to pay for. I suppose that's a business for you, always scamming to get an extra dollar. read more

I was referred to Dr. Roberts and Lasik Vision Institute through QualSight. If you've never heard of QualSight look them up. They refer you to amazing doctors and save you hundreds of dollars. I did my surgery 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier. My vision went from legally blind to 20/20 in both eyes. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the wait time but the waiting wasn't enough to discourage me from going through with the surgery. I too was referred to Dr. Roberts and Lasik Vision Institue through QualSight. I had my consultation, and was very pleased with the staff, flexibility of schedules, and of course the price. I had shopped around to several companies and found them to be the most reasonably priced. My procedure was actually yesterday at the Vienna office in VA. The staff was awesome. I was told of the 2 to 4 hour wait time so I came prepared with Netflix and even went to Walmart to get some snacks and meds for which I was given prescriptions for before the procedure. So, I was ready to go. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was because I waited 5 hours due to the fact they misplaced my chart. All in all though, I really enjoyed them. The staff was very apologetic, which in my opinion speaks volumes for a company to acknowledge their mistakes. Dr. Roberts was so kind and gentle. I expressed my fears and anxiety, and although he has probably heard that with the thousands of procedures he's done, he treated me so well. At my post op appt, I'm 20/15 and feel fine. I slept from the moment I got in the car until this morning. So, I didn't really experience the discomfort that follows. I've already recommended them to several friends and family members. Great experience. I went through QualSight (a third party) and got a few hundred dollars off of the procedure. I visited about two other places to make sure that pricing was reasonable and would be comfortable with the staff. I felt most comfortable at this office. Staff was professional and helpful. I had my procedure last year and everything went extremely well. Initially, I was nervous because Dr. Roberts was listening to pretty loud music before my procedure, so I was caught off guard. It didn't take away from his professionalism or competence. He answered all my questions and was patient with me. My procedure took a few minutes and I was able to see perfectly. I had a good experience with LVI, going through Qualsight Lasik (which is who my vision insurance company used). All in all, I am very pleased with LVI and Qualsight. My vision is fabulous, the whole surgery process was easy peasy, and as long as you follow their follow up instructions, you should be just fine as far as your recovery. Dr. Roberts was very pleasant, as was the staff. My only issue is how long the wait is to get the actual procedure. It appears that they book patients every 15 minutes, but often the billing, paperwork, etc takes longer than that so they get behind. However, I was forewarned that I would be there 2-4 hours on surgery day, and it was a true 4 hours. I expected it, so I wasn't upset, but other patients said they hadn't been told that and they were questioning why everything took so long. read more

After going to Lasik Plus and being told I couldn't have Lasik before they even looked at my eyes but could PRK for $4200 I didn't like them at all, see my review on them. Lasik Vision is a totally different experience. I went in for an exam 1/2/2016 to see if I could have the Lasik procedure, after a checkup they said it shouldn't be a problem and that I should only have 1 eye done since the other was 20/25. They then asked if I wanted to do it today, which blew me away, so after the paperwork, financing the $1500 to do the one eye it was all done. Very easy, I was there about 5 hours total but the surgery itself only takes about 5 minutes. I highly recommend them. Kristina Redmond was extremely helpful with the entire process and the rest of the group there was great. Check Groupon first before going since some of the people there got both eyes done for $1800 or so. read more

My home center is Rockville but ended up in Towson for the surgery due to my availability to come in. Like it's sister office in Rockville, this is also a great center, very welcoming, with super service, from the receptionist to the doctors. My experience was very good with them, and they took great care in making sure all of my questions were answered before getting in for the procedure.
