She's young, hip, very well-informed, and has a super positive energy. I'm the kind of patient that has a thousand questions and she flew through all of them with me without missing a beat. I have astigmatism in both eyes, and she is the first eye doctor who has ever offered to fit me for contact lenses specifically shaped for astigmatism. I couldn't believe how much more comfortable they were! She is super well-versed in contact lens fitting and gave me good advice regarding Lasik surgery for my intense nearsightedness. It took me most of 4 hours with DMV and Innovision to straighten his mess out which I was charged 39.95 for. Be very weary of upcharges no eye drops during exam 39.95, frames that go just over your insurance coverage out of pocket 20.00, lenses that go just out of your free insurance lenses out of pocket 41.00. Pair of reading glasses and MVA filing their price 517.00 minus insurance still costs me 86.00 out of pocket. Do your homework before you go to this place.

As someone with a few variations upon the theme of medical-phobia, my visit with Dr. Zuckerbrod and…read morehis staff at Ideal Family Eye Care was exceptionally rewarding and precious to me, from intake to technician services to the doctor himself to the optician.  The intake was the equivalent of "welcome home."  Shira the technician was amazing in her customer-empathy, perfectly balancing professionalism with sensitivity.  Dr. Zuckerbrod explained the condition of my eyes to precisely the depth I requested so that I would be informed but not nervous.  The first-class non-invasive technology marks wonderful progress from my experiences in other places in earlier times.  Finally, Ron the super-friendly optician really showed his experience in customer service (i.e. inform, explain, but refrain from pushing product) he gained from his prior experiences in ownership.  Overall, I clearly found myself among the right people at the right time at the right place, and it's great that both my wife and I now have had the wonderful experience of relating with the Ideal team.
