Just like the one star comment below I ran into a similar problem with one of the managers working there, she is very rude very disrespectful I took the time out of my day to speak to the owners and their comments were the exact same thing there's nothing we're going to do to her. she's been working here too long you can go somewhere else. I reminded them I've been going there for 2 years and I have my clothes washed every week using their fluff and fold service still he did not want my business, that if I had a problem with their manager I can go somewhere else, so I took it upon myself to only visit Sunday. We have been to The Laundry Company many times. It is always clean, the staff is pleasant, and the machines are in great shape. I've been going to this laundromat since I moved to Carmichael in 2017. The prices are better than at my apartment complex, there is staff available to help always, there are loads of washers and dryers (and some take up to 8 loads at once!) and it's in a nice location. I appreciate the new ownership .... having met one of the owners (Greg) - I feel even better going here! He's friendly, helpful and wants to make the customers' experience at his laundromat a good one. I LOVE it when I feel my money as a customer is going to people who are kind, friendly and have integrity. The new ownership is busy getting the place a nice new paint job inside. I liked going to The Laundry Company before it changed hands, and I'm super happy that with the new owners, it's still a great laundromat. They have good hours that can accommodate most, they are a good crew of people, and you get bonus $$ for every 8 stamps on your laundry card (ask for your "Freeloader Card" - you'll start accruing money towards washes and dry cycles!!) read more

This is the cleanest and best maintained laundry that I have ever used. The place is absolutely spotless!

It's day two and I'm STILL in shock at how my boyfriend and I were treated by one of the workers named POLLY! I will not return to this establishment as long as she is working there. My boyfriend and I walked in yesterday around 8:40pm, before walking in I checked the closing time on the door which read 10pm. After taking a few steps in she starts to follow me and before even speaking she put her hands on my back trying to force me out of the door. Once i stepped aside her response was "ughh...no.....nope!.....I CANT!" whatever that meant. After blankly staring at her in disbelief at her disgusting attitude and super aggressive behavior she finally said very rudely that they stop washing at 830pm. I acknowledged that I understood and then she proceeded to try to force me out the door again, which wasnt necessary because I was more than willing to leave. I don't use a laundry mat often, in fact it's been years. However, after a sick kitten my washer wasn't getting the big fluffy comforter clean to my satisfaction. After reviewing Yelp and searching a few out I found The Laundry Company. It's clean, available products, change machine, various sizes of machines and a very nice and friendly attendant. My apartments are renovating our laundry rooms so I had to find a laundromat nearby. Prices are comparable to other places I've been at $1.75/single load, $2.25/double load & $5.50/giant load. You get 6-7 minutes of dry time per .25¢, depending on the type of dryer you use. The place is clean (including the restroom) and the lady working was very helpful. The customers seemed like average everyday people and were friendly enough. I would come here again! read more

It was our first time at the laundry company so we didn't know what to expect. All I can say is...I love this place. In comparison to the laundry places we've been to this would have to be the cutest and the cleanest. There are decorative plants everywhere and everything is well organized and well kept.What's cool about this place is that there's a tiny store. They sell Laundry detergent in a bottle for $2.50 and they even sell Laundry bags for $1. I'm pretty sure they have other items as well. I even smelled fresh coffee when I walked up to the counter. There was only one lady working. She was very nice and helpful. One of the dryer machines didnt start after we put in our coins. She was kind enough help us & she gave us some quarters so we can use a different dryer. The machines are awesome..there's a ton of them good size variety & they even have those humongous dryers. There are some laundry places that have the credit card option to pay for your wash...this one doesn't so make sure you have coins or dollars to exchange your cash in the machines! read more

I will never go back. Rude staff and horrible customer service cannot possibly be overcome by marginally clean washing machines. I will wash my clothes in the bathtub before returning to such horrid treatment of customers. I'll tell you what my crime was - I wanted to start some laundry at 8:32 p.m. The cut-off time is 8:30. For that sin I got screamed at by the so-called customer service person. I told her, "I don't even have to put them in the dryer. I'll be out of here by 9:10", but she still refused to let me wash clothes. I told her I work about 60 hours a week at two jobs and that's why it's hard for me to get to the laundry when they're open. She could not have cared less. So good-bye Laundry Co. You'll never see me again. By the way, in case you are one of the laundry-criminals who also show up at 8:31 or 8:32, for your future information Broadway Wash & Dry at 2800 Broadway Ave. has let me in at 8:32 before just to wash clothes - not dry them. And Love Laundry at 2431 K St. is open until midnight. I didn't know this last night because I was so furious over how I was treated that I could only go home and try to calm down. I could have driven 30 minutes to Love Laundry last night but I was too upset. What The Laundry Company does is try to build "relationships" with customers with its Freeloader Club and other perks, but in a real relationship you are there for me when I really need you, like the day before a holiday when I'm just trying to get some clean clothes. The Laundry Company is NOT there for customers when you really need them. They don't open until 8 a.m. and they basically close at 8:30 p.m. What this company wants are relationships of convenience - THEIRS. So my advice is that if you have a hard-working life with long hours, take your business elsewhere where you can find customer service people and polices that care about YOU, the customer. I've been coming here for 3 years now , and there's a Spanish lady who works here , she is the most disrespectful person I think I have ever met . I've never encountered someone so rude or bothered to do there job. Everyone else that works here is great . I won't be coming back until she is gone . This place is great very clean and working machines The washers are a little on the pricey side but considering the always clean and I never have an issue with my laundry it's worth the extra cost.. Also it's really convenient that they have a drop in service and that is only about a $1.10 per pound and it only has a 10 pound limit so I feel that that's a very fair price for them to wash dry and fold all my laundry when I'm too busy to get it done myself read more

I just wanted to start off by saying I would never think to give a review of a laundromat. I have to say this was the worst experience that I have ever had. I have to confess I have used this laundromat on and off for over a good 12 years. I had a little one who attended Fliptastic so on a occasion I would do a load or two and then pick her up after class. I decided to use this facility because I didn't have a full load just a couple of hand wash items that I wanted to use the sink to rinse out the soap from my hand washed items and use their dryers. Well I am a black women and I tiring not to let that come into place here. I inform the girl that ran the laundromat that I was indeed a paying customer. I just wanted to use the sink to rinse out what I had and I would use the dryer when I was done. Well there were two of them one who was like "I said you can't use the sink to wash your Clothes" I turn and told her I just wanted to rinse my clothes which were only a few items and besides I had inform her of what I was doing when I came in. Then the other one come over and place her hand over the sink handle and said "you are wasting water you don't have to keep it running" I again turn to this one and said "I have the clothes under the running water" and then the first one came back and said "you are just going to have to leave and go somewhere else." I was dumbfounded by the action's of these two girls and I have to say I gather up my things and when down the street to another laundromat the Sunshine Laundry that was located on 4132 Manzanita Ave. I ask these same people the same question and was not harass but was able to finish up my laundry in a peaceful matter. read more

Went there for 10 years. I'm disabled and one day had to bring my service dog. The manager said I had to leave imediately with my "pet". I said "She isn't a pet and you saw me come in. My clothes are already in the washing machines and are in mid-cycle." She stood over me and kept screaming at me to leave. She told me to leave my child to finish the wash, with a crazy woman in charge. No thank you. I told her I needed to sit for a moment and catch my breath and I would figure something out but she needed to stop standing there screaming at me. My son and I decided that we would pull the clothes out and leave with them wet. I waited in the cold outside (terrible for my lung condition). We left. When I spoke with the owner he was very curt and defensive. He made it clear, even though I had not asked, that nothing would happen to her and he would talk to her. I could sue but that is negative stress I don't need. Just a warning don't bring in a service animal or you will be booted out. I didn't care that she wanted us to leave. It was her unreasonable , outlandish , aggressive behavior that I objected to. She seems very nice until , like a 2 year old, she doesn't get her way immediately. read more
