This was our first time here, and we were pleasantly surprised by the laid-back atmosphere. It felt like an old-school dinner, which added to the charm. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. They offered both indoor and outdoor seating options, so we chose the latter. We started with the oysters, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. We then moved on to the brunch menu, which was equally impressive. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and can't wait to return for more.

I need this place to come to Orlando!! Was in town visiting and I loved this place, their menu has a little bit of everything from breakfast, to caviar, oysters, drinks, etc for whatever mood you're in. Service was also fast & friendly, our server Tyla was great! I loved the retro vibes of the place and it was also very affordable. Will definitely be coming back!

After the 4th of July festivities got to try out the laundry this AM for breakfast. This is a really cool place and they have a great location. If I was a local it would be my hang out place. The interior is fun and truly they kept up the history of the building in their current layout. The food was delicious well portioned sizes. Got the biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns and bacon. The bacon was amazing and the gravy was a red eyed gravy. We also had the short rib hash bowl which was the better dish on our table. Our server and all the staff were very attentive and we definitely will be coming back to enjoy again.

The salad is a rainbow full of delicious ingredients. Plus I added the steak.

Ambience, incredible service unmatched, and the food was surprisingly more delicious than some of the Yelp reviews that I read read before attending the laundry diner

We put our name on the list and were advised that it would be about 20 to 30 minutes before we were seated. We were allowed to sit at the outdoor picnic tables that were not occupied until our party was called. I asked for a menu so that we could know what we were going to order by the time we got to the table because we were already hungry. We sat downstairs, so I'm uncertain what the upstairs looks like, but downstairs was really nice. We thought a lot of thought was put into the décor and design. Our server was very busy, but she was also very attentive. We decided to try the quiche and shrimp salad sandwich with fries as appetizers. For entrées, we ordered the shrimp and grits and two short rib hash with a waffle. There were three of us, and we split everything. The shrimp in the shrimp salad were large I just wanted more flavor. The quiche was tasty and the crust was flakey. My favorites out of everything we had were the short rib hash and the waffle. I thoroughly enjoyed the texture of the waffle. I definitely plan to return.

So glad we went to The Laundry Diner on our last morning in Savannah (we were invited by staffer Tyla, whom we'd met elsewhere), because it wound up being one of the best meals we had (and that's saying a lot) on this trip. It's a really pretty, sunny room with a few different seating areas (bar, upstairs, main seating, sidewalk, etc.) just a short Uber (or middling walk) from Downtown. Reasonably priced and totally worth your trip over to check it out. Might be my best breakfast of the year so far, and it's December! Short rib hash bowl was both moist and crispy, just the right side of too salty and had some real zing. Umami, for sure! Yum (my mouth's watering just thinking of it a couple days later)! My wife loved her inexpensive (but perfect) waffle and bacon and her hot toddy was pretty inspired. I grabbed a piece of gingerbread cake for the plane home and that proved to be an inspired idea. Tyla took great care of us, whirling around all the other tables and other staffers. Wow, but the place is hopping. Looking at the inspired menu and especially all the baked goods and shakes, well - right then we made up our minds that we HAD to return to Savannah - to eat more of this! I'm glad I don't live nearby: I'd be as big as a house.

We liked it so much we went back for dinner to try the happy hour. The short rib hash is a must order and the steak with the steak fries was so tender. Honestly, very unsuspecting from a spot like this, but everything was good. My son got a waffle for breakfast and dinner. You can't really beat a $1 waffle for happy hour.

The Laundry Diner has it all. Pleasant staff. Great ambiance. Scrumptious food, and to think some 30 odd years ago, it was a laundry. My, my what they've done to the place! With their all-day menu, there's plenty to choose from. Our amicable waiter, Kolton was very efficient in helping with our selection. We chose their awesome Breakfast Burrito and Brian's BLT, which was stacked high with Bacon. The Burrito was so big, I took half home for another meal. Even the Hush Puppies had their own tasteful twist. The interior is airy and huge. The first and second levels have tables and barstools all nicely spaced. A staircase leads up to the second level. Tables are also situated outside. Everything at The Laundry Dinner was top shelf. We did wait 10 minutes for our table upstairs, but, what's 10 minutes! If you're in Savannah, check out The Laundry Diner. Your hunger pains will be quite pleased.

    This is worth bragging about.

My wife found this place on TikTok, so we decided to check it out. To our surprise the environment is super dope and warm. The brick walls had this old school feel to it. I had the breakfast burrito. It didn't let me down at all. The size was filling to the max. The flavor of sweet and salty was a beautiful balance of greatness. So, if you haven't been please make your way here and enjoy and also thank me later.

Loved the vibe and the staff was super kind. I got the hash bowl and it was alright, but there was barely any hash and a ton of short rib. The short rib was great, but for the price I expected a better balance. The pickles were good, but the fries were too salty for us. Service was also pretty slow and it took a while for the food to come out. The space is very cute and food was average; I wouldn't rush to come back.

Service was very good and so was the food. Nice ambiance and wasn't too crowded. Bar upstairs, diner downstairs.

Well we went back and as usual amazing only had shakes this time late night snack for me and the toddler staff always sweet and just so great about everything love how the decorated and everything about location is great. I did actually get pics of the chocolate and Reese's pieces shake. Love that they are open early and close at 10pm!!!

First time at the Laundry Diner and we enjoyed everything! The chicken in the chicken and waffles was nicely breaded. We also got the shorty rib hash bowl. At first, the portion seemed small for the price point, but it was very filling. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. The only downside sitting outdoors is the frequent bugs that flew around our table. I know that can be challenging to control as it can be out of their hands where they're coming from. Overall, a nice brunch spot to visit!

    Do they take reservations?

I don't believe they take lunch reservations. That's when I was there, arrived before 11:30 and was seated promptly w/o a reservation. The diner filled up during the weekday lunch but it didn't seem like a reservation would be needed then. Weekends…

These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.

I'm a mustard lover and use onions in almost everything that I cook at home, but when it came to this sad excuse for potato salad that was over-boiled potatoes sauced up to the max with straight French's, I resided to try to make do with my to-go order back at home by dipping my chips & sandwich in the little that I could stand of this overpowering & overpriced mess.
