Background to my journey well I literally bumped into this place on a walk the night before heading to diner... After some Yelp research and photo exploring I knew I wanted to dine here for breakfast. Now as I saw it I had two simple choices folks and it's either pork chops or shrimp & grits. Well, shrimp & grits it was and damn it was everything I expected and then some.. Let my hotel and walked to Quinn's. Ok, we're seated very quickly upon entering the establishment. The handing out of the menus and beverage order happening. OJ if you're curious? Like I said I vacillated back and forth with shrimp & grits the ultimate winner aside from me... Well, it's the moment of truth and my meal arrives ( drum roll please ) and DAMN FINE SHIRMP & GRITS! As the plate arrives I marvel at the steaming plate of grits with a mound of shrimp topped with green onions and lots of bacon pieces.. My meal plate was exactly how I envisioned it and that flavor taste exploded throughout my body with my brain rattled with joy.. Smooth creamy grits with a mound of perfictly cooked shrimp with a little pan char just the way I love my shrimp cooked. Yet that crispy bacon & green onion topping really provided the flavor bomb to place it into overdrive... Yes I gobbled it up with a slight belch at the end to show my appreciation.... My bill was presented and I gladly paid with a smile and added a 25% tip for the staff..... As I whistled Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah out the door and down the street it dawned on Frank that I had my amazing southern breakfast in style @ QUINN'S! Love the experience ! read more

Classic diner with fun murals on the walls. Large menu, breakfast or lunch anytime. Our waitress was friendly and took our order perfectly. The food came out very quickly. The prices are very reasonable. We ordered a 3 egg house omelette to share. I got a small stack of buttermilk pancakes that were delicious. The grits were creamy and awesome (and I don't usually like grits). My husband ordered a side of crispy hash browns and sausage patties. Excellent overall and we will return. read more

While looking for a breakfast spot near SCAD, I stumbled upon Quinn's and I'm so glad I did! Since I was dining solo, I grabbed a seat at the counter, which gave me a great view of the open kitchen. I ordered the shrimp and grits with raisin toast and a sweet tea. Amy, my server, was friendly and efficient. She took my order, and my food arrived 5 minutes later. The sweet tea was just right, sweet without being over the top, and no extra sugar needed. The shrimp and grits were fantastic! The grits were buttery and creamy, the shrimp perfectly sautéed, and the dish had large pieces of crispy bacon that tied everything together. I stumbled on this diner when I was starving. A guy named Shorty was personable and led me to a table. Great menu, I went with simple--BLT with sunnyside egg add-on. It came out quickly, perfectly, deliciously. Price was right as well. Decor was tropical/flamingo which seemed a mismatch for Savannah but nicely done. I'd like to have known some history of the building or cafe. Didn't like them cleaning while people were eating. Seems they had buffet but it wasn't filled for my visit, so unsure about that too. We came here for a quick breakfast during our stay in Savannah. Here's what I thought. Atmosphere: Quinn's is quaintly decorated on the inside. It definitely feels like a Mom & Pop diner. There's a beautiful mural painted on the back wall. The restaurant was super clean! Service: All the people we encountered were so nice and friendly. My boyfriend and I came here one morning before work with not a lot of time to spare and we were in and out in no time. The sausage patties were my favorite even though I ordered all bacon. I switched with my boyfriend so I still left satisfied. I'm not a pancake type of girl but the ones here were good, I almost felt like a child at the kitchen table on Saturday morning. We had breakfast at Quinn's this morning and I wish we had found this place at the beginning of our vacation. We were greeted by Shorty, who was very personable and kept checking on us. As you can tell from my photos, I always order the shrimp and grits, but they have anything you can think of when it comes to diner food so there's certainly something for everyone. The food was delicious, sorry no pics. I had the meat lovers Omelette and my honey had the two eggs two meat breakfast. They do have a buffet on the weekends. The service was great, Elizabeth our waitress made us feel welcomed, checked on us regularly, was friendly and professional. This restaurant meets my trifecta for a food experience- great food, great service at a great value. Located just a block off Broughton St. we dined here after touring beautiful Savannah all morning. Growing up in NJ diner culture is important and I felt right at home. It's not fancy, but has the feel of a neighborhood place where you would be a regular. We sat right next to the grill so we could see our meals being prepared. The quality of ingredients were excellent and the portions were generous. The food is absolutely amazing. This is the only place I have ever ordered grits and they are completely perfect. I have zero complaints on the food. I am giving only four stars because I always order on Uber eats and they never ever send utensils. I have had to "drink" my grits! Very good place for breakfast. The food was so good a flavorful. I had the eggs Benedict and loved it, it's the basic Benedict and was very good. My husband had the breakfast burrito and it was huge and tasted really good. Hash browns were cooked perfectly also. My youngest got the chopped steak and eggs and the steak was so good and flavorful we weren't respecting it to be but they did it right. My kids have already asked to come back for breakfast here.
