Sal and his team are by far and away the BEST laundry service in Brooklyn. I cannot gush about them enough. I have been using their service for over a year now and they have never disappointed me. They are beyond flexible. There have been numerous times I haven't been able to get home in time for delivery and its absolutely no problem for them so reschedule delivery. They are extremely detail-oriented. I give very specific instructions that are always followed. Whats more is that if my instructions aren't clear, or they think a different service would be more beneficial, they CALL to confirm! They have a ton of free services that other places charge for regularly. They even do same day pickup and delivery! Delivery is always on time and they fold and organize my clothes beautifully. I've tried a LOT of laundry services in NYC and across the globe but I gotta admit that this one takes the cake !!! Prices are super competitive, always on time and always willing to help you in a pinch for travel or unexpected needs. The drivers are super courteous and will text or call you 5-10 mins before arrival for pick up/drop off and won't rush you if you're a little behind. They never expect a tip or cop an attitude which makes me want to tip them more!! Aside for the drivers, excellent service and pricing...Lisa is the definition of a sweetheart! Always asking how you are and makes sure they follow your every instruction with precise care. She is the epitome of how a business should be ran! Terrible service. The dispatch (Lisa) has several times confirmed a delivery for dry cleaning in advance, only to say the morning of aforementioned delivery that the clothing isnt actually ready, leaving me without clothing for work. This has caused me to double and triple check the availability of my dry cleaning, only to for suffer the same fate. Not only is she incompetent, she has a terrible attitude, and gets defensive and passive aggressive whenever I've pointed out these mistakes. Fortunately her boss Sal is a reasonable guy who offered to waive the charge due to my inconvenience. Nevertheless, I can risk using this services with all the inconsistencies and attitude. read more

I don't recommend doing your own laundry here if you're close enough to another place. Nice facility but small and very expensive. $2.75 for the smallest load of laundry. $.25 for four minutes drying. Most places are at least 6-7 minutes for that much, such as the huge laundromat down the street in Metropolitan and Lorimer. I came here because it used to be cheaper than everywhere else but since the renovation, it's super pricey. Not coming back. read more

Sal and his team are EXTREMELY friendly, thoughtful, and as good as it gets. Every time I need a pickup or delivery, they are there in a flash. I never have issues with the quality of the wash, everything is always spotless and perfect, and they come right to my door to pick up and drop off. They provide lots of options as far as detergents and make sure to get specific instructions as to how things are to be washed. I moved from a place that had laundry in unit to a place with no laundry at all, nor around the block; The Laundry Taxi SAVED ME!! There aren't a lot of laundromats around me, and I don't often have two hours to spend hauling a bag in the cold and washing it myself. I looked at services like Cleanly and FlyCleaners, and they had decent prices, but I read reviews that people losing their laundry was all too common. I found The Laundry Taxi here, and I honestly do not know what I would do without them now. It's so easy to text Lisa and work with her associates to schedule a pick up at any time. I don't have a doorman, but they worked with me (unlike other places I contacted) to use my door code and grab my bag from in front of my door. My laundry always returns perfectly washed, folded, and grouped in the neatest bundles with cute ribbon tied around them. It's not super cheap, but usually amounts to the cost one good meal dining out which is a really good price for the incredible service. I will keep sending them washing weekly and praising the laundry gods that they exist!! read more

These people are lifesavers for me right now. As a massage therapist I am forced to do way more laundry than I would ever prefer, as I use 15 pairs of sheets a week. Owning a business means time is money, and I am relieved to have The Laundry Taxi folks to help me do 40 lbs of laundry, picked up and delivered, so that I can focus on other things. They are super friendly (especially Lisa, who is such a sweetheart, is fun and also a really hard worker), super efficient, easy to communicate with, and usually get me my laundry back even faster than expected. this place makes life EASY. i had a bunch of dry cleaning to do (10 items... bulky sweater and coats), and they did a fantastic job. communication was painless, pickup and delivery were on time, everything came back fresh and clean, and prices were comparable to other dry cleaners in the area (most of which btw... do not have great reviews). seems like there might be an extra charge if i had fewer items, but honestly it's probably worth it. Everything looks great and they were able to get a set in stain out of a pair of my pants. I was also able to pay with a card upon delivery which was extremely convenient! We live in a "laundry desert" where there are no nearby laundromats. So my two roommates and I all utilize the Laundry Taxi and couldn't be happier! Everything is done over text, unless you prefer phone calls. They give you a heads up when they're on your way to your place, and again when they've reached your front door. The drivers are really friendly. The laundry always turns out great, way better than I could ever do. I worked at a clothes store and they can still fold way better than me! Even if I lived somewhere closer to a laundromat I think I would still use them- their prices are reasonable and it's worth the time (and sanity) you'll save. With all the tidy little cubes of clothes in my drawers, I think even Marie Kondo would approve. read more

I call Monday morning to arrange my first pickup. I request after 5 p.m. At 5:08, I get a test asking if I'm ready. I am. At 5:28 my laundry is whisked down the three flights of stairs that I can no longer face with 20 lbs in a wheelie cart. The load is returned in a day, looking beautiful, smelling wonderfully fresh, and with all the small items (socks, tights, underwear) neatly folded and tied together in little bundles! I had been scarred by Fly Cleaners. Found these guys and thank god I did. Had a great experience with them. They picked up promptly and dropped off promptly with no delays. Clothes came back smelling Tide-clean (unlike my rubber smelling Fly Cleaners laundry), any stains removed, and everything was organized and folded (delicates separated). The texting is a little annoying but I knew what to expect reading the reviews. I really don't care because my laundry was clean and nothing was lost. Also, for 26 pounds of laundry, I only paid $34. At FlyCleaners, I would have paid $34 for 10 pounds of laundry. For busy people on the go, this is a great deal for pickup/dropoff service. They have earned a regular customer. read more

The quality of the laundry was ok, but honestly they don't know how to coordinate with the customer and definitely need to spend more time on training their employees. The person delivering my dry cleaning had wrong address given to him and charged on my card twice. Oh, they also charge extra fee on the credit card transaction, which is not clearly stated on their website. I understand this is mom and pop operation, but if they want to compete with people like fly cleaners or local laundry drop offs, they need to try harder improving their services. I used the Laundry Taxi when I lived in Williamsburg as an intern in 2014. Now, I live and work in the area full-time and continue to use this company. They return your laundry very promptly and the detergent smells great. They follow your washing instructions diligently. They are slightly pricey, but to me, the cost is worth the convenience this service provides.
