Chili Releno with cream sauce, rice and beans.
    William Y.

Lunch at the Lazy Donkey at Reno and Walker. The place was hopping. They were a little busy, had about a 5 minute wait. They brought chips and salsa and I ordered queso. I ordered a chili releno with cheese. Never saw the server again until she brought the chili releno. Never got the queso. The chili releno was very good. The service was below average, but they were very busy. Because of the crowd it was a little noisy. Prices are moderate.

Second visit, still 5 star. The sides are served in fried corn tortillas, cute. The "guacamole salad" is a nice touch.

So the burrito was what I ordered and the beans and rice was good but the chicken in the burrito was way over done. Was a bit disappointed and the kiddo got the wings and he said they were cold so they sat for a while. It was a basketball night and they were busy but... service was a bit slow but she was apologetic about it with how busy it was and it was. Will have to come back and try something else when it's not too busy.

Amazing fish tacos! I have never tried a fish taco but this is the place! I'm not sure I'll ever find any better!

Service from my waitress, Daniela, was very attentive: I wanted for nothing. I ordered a frozen house margarita and the veggie quesadillas. The chips and salsa taste homemade. I agree with other positive reviews of the salsa. The quesadillas were so loaded with sauteed mushrooms, broccoli, and cheese, a fork and were needed. So tasty. The margarita was flavorful if a little light on the tequila. The interior decor is bright and festive., The music volume was perfect to allow conversation, but was a bit too up tempo for dining.

It's my girlfriend's birthday! The birthday girl chose this location, she'd been before. It was my first time and I enjoyed the atmosphere and food! Oh yeah, the mango margarita was poppin! Once we ordered from the lunch menu, the food came quickly. Chips and salsa complimentary and queso $$$$. The food was fresh and hot. It was simply delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. I look forward to returning!

A different sort of a Mexican restaurant. Overall I would say it was good and I enjoyed my meal as did my wife but not sure if this restaurant is for us. The service was good, hostess was pleasant and sat us right away and our server was prompt and attentive! The restaurant quickly filled up and it even though it was our first time here this is no doubt a popular place to dine. I had the Burrito Texano and my wife chose the Enchiladas - both were tasty.

    DELICIOUS!!!!

The food was amazingly delicious and was served quickly in a beautiful presentation. The beans and guacamole were served in a tostada bowl instead of just thrown on a plate. Great effort was taken to serve a nice looking dish. We were seated promptly and our waiter was quick and extremely attentive. I was delighted at the fun atmosphere and the music was happy and upbeat.

AMAZING! 10/10! Looking for authentic Mexican food, casual dining, and reasonable prices? This is THE place! In the heart of downtown, the restaurant is nestled on the perfect corner. The interior was beautifully decorated. We were seated promptly, and our service the entire time was great. The menu was full of options. We ordered the fajitas texanas, without beef. We also got a choriqueso- white queso dip with chorizo added. And, of course, we asked for a spicier salsa. And it brought the heat. Everything was delicious, and filling. The portions are huge! We were just two eating the fajita, but it definitely could have served four. I've finally found my go-to place for Mexican food in OKC. I can't wait to visit again really soon :)

Good salsa. Pretty good lunch menu. Mixture of good and bad service but was busy when I went so I can understand.

The vibe…read moreinside is super fun, and I'm sure outside, if we had gone when it was warmer, would've been a good time! The guy working the bar was cool and friendly. He gave us some great ideas for what to do in OKC on a weekday date night. To start, I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that instead of having complementary chips and salsa, they hand you a bowl of popcorn. That was super super weird! We wanted chips and salsa, so we ordered some. For five dollars, we got a good size bowl of chips as well as salsa, but the salsa was hot. It was literally steaming! I don't know who ordered salsa, hot, but it just felt wrong. The margarita was very watered down and when we brought it to the bartender's attention, he said that that's how he has to make them according to the policy. The food was pretty good though! I had some chicken and rice dish that was really enjoyable and my husband's surf and turf burrito was delicious! I would maybe come back and order those, but I definitely wouldn't spend the money on bar drinks or chips and salsa. Honestly, even though we go to Oklahoma City a good amount, we probably won't come back here unless we are just really hungry and close by and already know a couple menu items we like.

Food was hot and came out pretty quick. Let me tell you we were not prepared for the fantastic feast. We will be back. Maybe tomorrow I ordered the shrimp taco (the sauce was good, but you could definitely taste the mayonnaise in it so it wasn't quite for me) but the birria tacos were top-notch, and the papas changed my life. I'm going to order the fried chicken taco next time. Super friendly staff with incredible knowledge of the menu. They really helped us decide what to order. The brisket papas is so many levels of flavor at once. The smoked meat is surprisingly better than some I've had a local barbecue joints. The queso is not spicy at all and the way it's all layered together with the tater tots makes it mesh into this incredible flavor bomb. I literally ate this as my meal and let my wife finish my shrimp taco. Wifey tip: indoor dining is definitely a vibe but the outdoor seating is really where it's at! (Use the red sauce )

One nice surprise--free queso and salsa are served when you're seated, even though queso isn't listed on the menu. I ordered the chicken taquitos, which had the perfect crunch, but the filling was a bit underwhelming in flavor. My husband, on the other hand, loved his birria tacos and couldn't stop raving about them. Our kiddo had the crunchy beef tacos from the taco plate, and I stole a few bites--they were delicious and well-seasoned. I was tempted by their margarita options (they sound amazing), but with a baby on board, I'll have to save that for next time. I really liked the dark, cozy vibe of the place--definitely seems like it would be a fun spot to visit at night.

Food: Nachos was well laid out and tasted great. Definitely worth the money in taste and texture. Great presentation of the dish. Tacos supreme with bean/rice I was not impressed, better tacos at TB. Nothing supreme about it and rice was still hard. Would not recommend that dish. Still plenty of food to choose from but tacos were disappointing in flavor and toppings. Overall I still had a good experience and if I lived in area, I would stop in for a beer and nachos once in awhile.
