Very Disappointing Lunch Experience I came here for lunch with a long-lost buddy, and honestly, I left questioning how this restaurant has so many positive reviews. Based on my experience, the food was nowhere near the quality those reviews suggest. The atmosphere was actually nice and quiet, and the service was fine. Our waiter was polite, apologetic, and handled the situation as well as he could. Unfortunately, the food was the real problem. I ordered the chile rellenos, and they were hands down the worst I've ever had. I've only ever known chile rellenos to be roasted, stuffed, egg-battered, and fried in the classic style. This version was breaded in what seemed like flour and tasted like it had been cooked or reheated on a flat top instead of properly fried. The texture was completely off. The filling was even worse. It tasted like a cheap ground beef blend, possibly something like 70/30, with a mushy texture closer to oatmeal than seasoned beef. It was so bad that I sent it back, which is something I rarely do. The waiter kindly offered another option, but then came back and said the cook -- possibly the owner -- said I would have to pay for both plates. At that point, I decided I would rather stay hungry than gamble on another dish. For a restaurant with this many positive reviews, I expected much better. The service was acceptable, and the dining room was pleasant, but the food quality was extremely disappointing. A nice atmosphere cannot make up for poorly prepared food and a kitchen that refuses to stand behind what it serves. I would not return. read more

Everything is always perfect. The food the staff EVERYTHING. It's so comfortable to go in and sit down for lunch or dinner.

Excellent service. We were taken very well cared of. Seated promptly server was great and answered all our questions. I got a fajitas nacho and I can't complain at all it was very good my wife got tameles and her only complaint was she got too full. Their cheese sauce and their salsa they serve were excellent and we both enjoyed it. They also served relish which was great. It was spicy but not burn my mouth just a nice little zing and warmth in my mouth. read more

We came here at 7 on a Monday night and it was dead but it shouldn't be! It was really good. Server was attentive. I had the Bethany Burrito with fajita beef. The beef was tender and there was a lot of it! Chips were thick and queso was good! Bf had a combo plate and enjoy the tamale, taco, beef enchilada, rice, and beans. Small family business just opened in Bethany, OK! The staff is friendly and attentive. Everything I have tried so far has been great -- I recommend the shrimp and fish guiso and their cucumber agua fresca to drink! The chips and queso were also great, the queso was not watery at all as it is in some other Mexican restaurants. read more

This is a new Mexican restaurant in an older location but completely redone. The food is absolutely some of the best in this category. It's very pleasant atmosphere. They try to accommodate all of your requests. Loved the peppers and Shrimp. The stuffed pablamo was fantastic and you must try the shrimp cocktail. read more

Don't waste your time or money. We had a terrible dining experience last night. The only decent part of our meal was the chips, queso and salsa. And only because it tasted EXACTLY like Chelino's recipe. Staff was unaccommodating and extremely rude. Four males stood in the kitchen speaking vulgarly in Spanish, laughing and even pointing in our direction. Nacho's we're extremely greasy and the ground beef tasted like it was from a can. The guacamole was sad and most likely squeezed out of a bag and the pinto beans from a can. My borracho beans had zero flavor. My advise Gallegos, stop standing around making inappropriate jokes about your guests and at least try to give decent service. Use quality fresh ingredients and season your dishes. Be original with your recipes and take some pride in what you do. If you are going to make it here in Bethany your going to have to do much better. Btw Gallegos ... Finally an affordable and tasty Mexican restaurant is here! Their meats are so tasty and tender, and the portions are amazing. I've always hated pico de gallo and I can't stop eating theirs. You can tell it's homemade. The staff are all so friendly. Definitely give them a try. read more
