Shortly afterwards, over a few months time, I fell ill, required hospitalization, I had two operations, my brother died, and my 95 yr. old mother required care,( my brother had been her caregiver), and I was the only option she had. Regardless of the reasons for not being able to handle the ticket matter, it went beyond the time alloted for the extension. I was relegated by the DMV to have my license suspended and pay a HUGE sum to a company called G.C. Services. When the lock downs started, I lost my primary source of income. G.C. Services was not flexible at all & they had my license suspended. I was feeling pretty desperate. I was so worried about my perfect driving record, about my insurance rates & I would not be able to work at my profession with a ticket on my record that led to a suspension. I saw an ad for Denni Law. I called and left a message about my circumstance. If I was an attorney who was simply to busy to handle another case then I certainly wouldn't dare to have a client sign a retainer without knowing I could handle the case in a timely manner.
