Pros: comfy king bed, big closet, large safe, microwave, fridge, keurig, quiet room, open balcony, San Francisco Bay Trail below our balcony, large bath with separate shower, Exercise room with no free weights, Quench water machine, EV chargers, snack/drink machines, morning breakfast/coffee served (worth skipping). Cons: No USB ports in the room?! Hotel is fairly close to the sketchy side of town (homeless camp 200 ft from hotel). No cold bottled water for rewards members, no pool, no airport shuttle, carpeting instead of laminate flooring, paid parking, our thermostat was really glitchy and would not work. Added benefit: your hotel key gains you access to the Executive Inn and Suites next door. There you will find a small pool/hot tub. There's also a small bar that opens at 5pm (happy hour 5:30-7:30) and you can order food as well. A Monday night stay was $325 and they charge $17 a day to park in their lot next to Hwy 880, not in a garage. I actually woke up sore the next day. -Wall's are very thin. We had some loud neighbors going on late into the night on a Wednesday. -Our room was SO warm. It was really cold out yet no matter how low we turned the thermostat the temperature never got below 74. We are people who like it cool when we sleep so between the firm bed and warm temp we didn't get much sleep. Extra note parking was available on site for $40 or you could parking in the Bay Street garage for $25. Given the positives I think we would give this place another try especially if the thermostat was working.

I utilized the gym both mornings. There are 6 treadmills, a weight room, pelotons, elliptical stations, etc. They have a water station and towels available too. I didn't have an issue with using the equipment or finding an available treadmill. We also utilized the free Marriott minivan for a ride to dinner with my 5 other work colleagues. Rebecca was friendly and offered us a ride within 3 miles of the hotel. She dropped us off and picked us up as well. What a wonderful service. We also had drinks one evening at the bar. Great service and delish drinks. You cannot go wrong staying at the Marriott City Center...lovely hotel and staff. I hope to be back soon.

In the morning I went down to get breakfast, it was $24 for a self serve buffet with limited options and honestly, it wasn't worth it. Everything was overcooked. The sausage was so hard I could barely cut it with a knife. Disappointing. Overall, the stay just didn't match the price. Paying over $300 for one night, I expected a much better experience.

This is something that one should ever have to experience, especially when visiting a new area or being displaced. The most concerning aspect of the situation is the apparent lack of security measures. There are no visible security presence or cameras in the parking area. This leaves guests feeling completely vulnerable. While filing a police report, I was told incidents like this are not uncommon in the area, which makes the absence of basic safety precautions even more absurd. Despite the severity of the situation, the hotel did not provide any meaningful support or reassurance afterward. Safety should be a top priority for any hotel. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend staying at this property.

I was able to safely walk everywhere I wanted to go within 5-10 minutes. This ended up being the perfect location in reference to the wedding I was attending at a venue around the corner. On top of that which I didn't bring up to hotel staff because I was already livid and super late so I just wanted to get going was that the cars system let me know the car had been running for 50 minutes. Which means while I was waiting for 30 minutes panicking I was going to be late the car was mysteriously running. Whatever it is what it is it's a nice hotel but valet is the downfall.

The windows were filthy and need a washing on the outside...it's definitely been a while. The room was clean with the exception that the bath tub looks like it has leftover stuff on the bottom of the tub but its stains but it still looked very funky. The rep who checked me out was definitely not very friendly. Pros - Check in and check out were easy and quick. The location to my company was convenient.

I'm a loyal customer of Marriott properties but have always been confused by what constitutes a "Courtyard" as the range of quality can be pretty wide. Fortunately this one is one of the better Courtyards with clean, quiet rooms, well maintained furnishings, friendly staff, and a an efficient property size. Front desk is great, luggage storage worked well. Colleagues who also stayed here expressed satisfaction with their rooms and the hotel choice too. I will not hesitate to book here again when I need to be near the Convention Center in the future.
