I'm appalled by all these negative reviews! My daughter Zoe started there September 2021. She was…read morejust 2 years old. She did so well during her time here! Ms. Becca, Ms. Dawn, Ms. Nicki are all very professional, kind, loving, caring towards the children! I witnessed it myself every morning I dropped off my baby and she was so excited and happy to go! I very rarely write reviews but when I recommended this daycare to a family member she was very concerned! I'm here to tell you that Little Learners is by far the best daycare I've ever dealt with. They would communicate with me via Google voice, when my baby was out sick and she missed her teacher she would FaceTime her to see how she was doing. If there ever was a time when Zoe had a tantrum or was upset Ms. Becca would handle it in the most caring way I know because my daughter would tell me. "Becca hugs me, I love her, she's the best" these are the words of my 2 year old. My daughter is now 4 years old and in a different school altogether and she still mentions Ms. Becca!!! People really need to take a step back and analyze how they leave reviews. It's very damaging to a business. I haven't had any communication with the school since august 2022!! My experience was Excellent and I do recommend this business to all parents who want good quality caring loving teachers to care and help raise your children!!! Ms. Dawn, Ms. Nicki, Ms. Becca we LOVE YOU THE LOPEZ FAM!!

My experience with this school became honestly ridiculous. In the beginning, Dawn, the director,…read moreseemed very nice, kind, and communicative, but that quickly changed. One day, they left a LETTER on my son sandwich container telling me he needed to work on his motor skills and that I needed to teach him how to open his lunchbox. He came home telling me he had asked his teacher for help and felt like she didn't want to help him. If a young child is struggling with a lunch container, why not simply help him and communicate the concern directly with the parent? Communication was also a constant issue. I repeatedly asked about something called "Pizza Friday" before and after enrollment. I was told to try again early the following month, only to later be told, "Oh no, Pizza Friday is closed. You were supposed to do that before summer." That information was NEVER communicated to me. I also tried getting information about water play and was basically told by Ms Nicki, "There's a paper in his bag, just look at the paper." There were also times my son came home with wet pants. If I was even TWO MINUTES late picking him up, Dawn would make comments like, "Come on, Amouri, you're the last one!" Like... he is a CHILD. I later found out his teacher was the director's daughter and another daughter also worked there. When I tried addressing my concerns, I felt completely dismissed. At that point, it was hard to feel like anything would actually be resolved because everyone involved was family. Overall, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. I shouldn't feel like I'm bothering someone just for asking questions about my own child. The entire experience was extremely odd, and I ultimately decided this was not the right environment for my son. He was not even there for a full month I also personally witnessed a staff member yelling at a child, saying things like, "Do you understand me? Pick your head up when I'm talking to you." I found the way the child was being spoken to very uncomfortable and inappropriate. I also found it very unprofessional that staff would text me from their personal iPhones regarding concerns about my son instead of calling me directly. If there was an issue involving my child, I expected a more professional form of communication.

Communication with ownership was often difficult and, at times, felt defensive or dismissive. As a…read moreparent, feeling heard and supported is important, especially when entrusting someone with your child. Attempts to meet in person to discuss my child's transition out of the daycare (with two months' notice given which I have copies of via email) were declined, and communication became passive-aggressive over email. While concerns I raised were ultimately addressed, the interactions left me feeling uncomfortable rather than reassured. My son came home with other children's' diapers and clothes on many occasions. There was so much disorganization. The owner monitors the comments of parents on private Facebook groups and is retaliatory towards them when they post anything critical. You will see this on their responses to critical reviews online as well. She sent out weekly emails reprimanding all parents for the actions of a few. I paid for an extra hour of care each day and came on time, often earlier than I needed to, but I still received these emails reprimanding everyone in the class. There was noticeable staff turnover, including two directors within one year. One departing director communicated to parents via email that the work environment was challenging, which understandably raised concerns among families. Some teachers appeared inexperienced and were frequently on their phones during pickup times, often requiring me to get their attention. While the teachers were kind to my child and did a good job teaching him, this was concerning. Information shared in the app was occasionally inaccurate (for example, meals reported as fully eaten when food was returned mostly untouched). The daycare itself is very small and lacks enough of a large open play space which is concerning, especially in the winter time. Parents were not allowed to enter classrooms to drop off or pick up their children. A friend of mine in town shared with me that her twin girls were coming home with bite marks on them and the owner denied that anyone was biting them and refused to allow them to look at the camera to see what happened. The communication style and leadership environment significantly impacted our comfort level as parents and ultimately led to our decision to leave. I am sharing this review to provide honest, respectful feedback based on our experience. I have noticed that some critical reviews appear to have been removed in the past. My intention is not to discourage others, but to offer transparency and encourage continued improvement.
