I love the director, Ms. Maria Mr. Victor, the teachers, Ms. Olga, Ms. Roxana, Ms. Alondra, Ms. Tasanova and MS. Adelt. When it was my child's birthday, Ms. Olga gave my daughter the recognition and made her special day even more special. Thank you to everyone at the learning spot. Keep the good work up. The kids need you.

    My sons hand.

My journey with RF dance studio began earlier this year. I had been in search of a new dance…read morestudio after ending my lessons at a ballroom dance studio. I was in search of a similar setting, but also aimed to save money. Through group on I had bought passes and tried several classes with various Social Salsa and Bachata groups with out the quality that i was looking for, they all taught combos and broke down the steps primarily focused on the leads role. I felt as a fallow we were there just as learning tools for the leads which was very disappointing. There is so much more to being a follow, and so much more to dancing then just learning the steps. RF was next on my list, I had been following them and a friend invited me to a social dance at the studio. I met Mike for the first time, was a great host, extremely welcoming and friendly. He invited me back to the studio with a complimentary pass for a fee trial class. My first day I arrived to observe a class so i could watch and get a feel for the studios tone. What caught my eye was Mike's attention to detail! His perfectionism during a fundamentals class, in addition to his explanation of body mechanics, body alignment, posture, turn out, hip rotation etc. He saw his students as individual dancers! During group class The combos were broken down for the leads as well as the follows! The spoke about tension, connection.... where is the lead taking you you and how to follow the lead properly. The emphasis and importance of a follow keeping her frame. Finally, my search was over! An affordable studio that upheld quality and professionalism starting with the owner and transcending throughout all the instructors. I have met great people and amazing dancers at all levels. Such great vibes here that my 13 and 15 yr old started taking classes drawn in by Kike's cumbia class, branching out to Geraldo's bachata shines class... and now venturing into salsa. My daughter is super excited to try Amelia's Salsa on2 heals class, which I love! Thank you RF Dance and instructor's I could not have found a better studio to grow as a dancer, while sharing my love of dance with my children.

And the warm-ups and stretches we do every Mondays and Wednesdays always makes me ready to learn a new dance or record or dance that me and my group have been practicing for a few weeks. It's always fun to see new people come in and go, but the most important thing is that confident is key and if you don't have that confidence you won't have confidence in your dance. I've been going to this dance classes for three or four months and I've been loving it. I've been excited to go every day to learn something new or add more onto our dance. I can't wait to learn something new after we're done with this dance, but I just love the fact that they put effort to teaching us and making us smile and laugh every time we're there I love this educational center and I would recommend this if you're wanting to learn dance because they would make you feel welcome and comfortable even if you are new they will treat you the same that they treat the other students that's been going there I can't wait till next week to go back and see my dance teacher and my friends that make me laugh and smile and make me confident and make my dancing confident.

3 stars for our limited trial experience (Would've preferred to not mark any but Yelp requires star…read morerating in order to post a comment). We only attended one Mini K-pop trial class and did not enroll, but I'm sharing our experience to help families decide whether this studio may be a good fit. TLDR version: Based on our trial, the studio told us it did not have the capacity or specialized experience to support my child's ASD-related needs. It may be a better fit for children who can participate independently, follow a structured class format, and are interested in more serious dance training rather than a casual recreational class. Long version: Not leaving a star rating because we only attended one trial Mini K-pop class and were not enrolled clients. I'm sharing our experience to help families assess whether the studio may be a good fit for their child. Before the trial, I emailed the owner to ask whether the class might work for my child, who is on the autism spectrum. He responded promptly and was transparent that the instructors did not have specialized experience or the capacity to provide the level of support my child may need. He still invited us to try a class so both sides could determine whether it was a fit. I accidentally arrived on the wrong week, but the owner was understanding and allowed us to participate. The instructor's teaching style was structured, direct, constructive, and firm while remaining respectful. My child attended with an ABA therapist, who provided reminders, redirection, and support throughout the class. After observing, the owner told me that the studio would not be able to accommodate my child's needs in its regular class environment. He also shared that the level of support required during class could be distracting for the other students. I understand his perspective and appreciate that he was direct rather than allowing us to enroll in a program that was not set up for my child's needs. Still, it stung as a parent. When you see your child making progress at school and in social settings, it is hard to be reminded that some environments may still not be accessible or appropriate for them. During the class, the other children appeared to notice that my child needed more support and was not keeping pace. Our therapist later told me that some children had asked questions among themselves about why my child was different. They are young children, and I do not blame them, the instructor, or the studio. But it was still a difficult moment for me as a parent. There were also a couple of practical reasons the program was probably not the best fit for us: (1) I was looking for a one-day-per-week recreational class, while the front desk staff explained that the program generally expects a two-day weekly commitment so students can practice and retain what they learn. That expectation was not completely clear to me from the website. (2) The class appeared best suited to children who can follow directions independently and who are ready for a more structured, skill-focused dance environment. I was looking for a lower-pressure recreational activity focused more on enjoyment and socialization. Overall, it was not the right fit for our family or the studio's current program structure. Families seeking a structured dance program may have a different experience. Parents of children who need individualized behavioral, communication, or therapeutic support may want to ask in advance about the studio's ability to provide accommodations. The communication style also felt fairly direct and "tough love," which may be worth considering for children who respond better to a gentler approach.

So whenever they practice for the recital my daughter was made to feel very left out. The instructor told my daughter that she can do stretches or do whatever she wanted or join the dance. Fact that the instructor pointed that out made my daughter felt like she didn't belong. Paying for the recital or not, every tuition paying dancer should be part of the routine. They have my credit card in their system and charge automatically every month which in the beginning we appreciated because we didn't have to remember to pay or wait for a bill and all that hassle. However, this academy not once sent out updates or announcements of any kind. I checked my spam/junk mail as well as regular mail. They say they do send email but we never got it. Suddenly tuition increased by $30 this month. Also we just found out there is an annual registration fee although there was no additional need for any type of "re-registration." They just simply charge it every July. The reason it's not a 1 star is because after the issue arises they refunded this month tuition smoothly as we decided to pull my daughter from this academy. And while there my daughter didn't mention other issues aside from feeling excluded from the Moana dance. We got quoted with another academy close by for our daughter where tuition is a lot more reasonable and she will be starting there soon.
