Ok long post but I have to say this because everyone needs to know!!! Our wedding at The Legacy Castle was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. I truly don't even know where to begin because every single part of this experience exceeded anything we could have ever imagined. The venue itself is unreal. It is hands down the most beautiful venue in all of New Jersey. It literally feels like an absolute fairytale being brought to life. Every corner, every detail, every view is just breathtaking. We kept looking around the entire night thinking, "we really got married here?" I still cannot believe we were able to have our wedding at a place this stunning. It is truly top tier. But what made everything even more incredible was the staff. Every single person we interacted with, our maitre d' and coordinator especially, and the entire team, were beyond professional. I mean truly beyond. Nothing was short of absolute perfection with them. Everything was organized, seamless, and handled with such care and precision. I thought one or two things could go wrong because that's just how weddings go. But No mistakes with this staff. What honestly shocked us the most was how many of our vendors pulled us aside just to rave about the staff. Not one, not two, but multiple vendors stopped us and said that in all the weddings they've worked, they have never seen a team this organized and professional. They told us they go to weddings every single weekend, and that this was on another level. Hearing that from people who are constantly in this industry really put into perspective just how incredible this team is. On top of that, my husband and I were honestly so overwhelmed throughout the day, and the staff just took over everything in the best way possible. We brought in so many personal items and decor pieces, fully expecting that at the end of the night we'd probably lose a few things here and there because things get chaotic and things get misplaced. But somehow, they packed every single item back exactly how we brought it, and loaded everything into our car without breaking a sweat. They even escorted us out and sent us on our way with a huge smile at the end of the night. And the food... I don't even have the words. We didn't add anything extra, this was just their standard offering, and our 250 guests are still talking about it. So many people told us it was the best cocktail hour they have ever seen in their lives. The amount of food, the quality, the presentation, it was beyond anything we expected. Everyone says the one thing guests always remember from a wedding is the food, and I know for a fact people are going to remember ours because it was just that good. My husband and I recently got married at The Legacy Castle, and overall, we are incredibly grateful for the beautiful wedding we had. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the food was exceptional, and the staff as a whole were pleasant, professional, and welcoming. Despite some challenges, we will always be thankful for the memories we created there. That said, there were a few aspects of our experience that I believe future couples should be aware of. I was initially assigned a representative named Camryn. She was pleasant and respectful, but when it came to certain requests, I found her to be very rigid and unwilling to be flexible, even in situations where flexibility seemed reasonable. On more than one occasion, I had to speak directly with the owner, Mounir, as well as another representative, Kayla, to receive accommodations I was requesting. As a business owner myself, I understand the importance of balancing policies with customer service. I always strive to be reasonably accommodating in order to retain customers and earn referrals. In an industry as personal as weddings, it is especially important to make your clients feel heard, understood, and valued. One of my biggest disappointments involved our final guest count. I informed Camryn that I would provide a more precise number later that same day, but I was told I had to keep the existing count. As a result, I ended up paying for more than 10 guests who did not attend. Considering that we had already paid for 200 guests, I was saddened that there wasn't more understanding or advocacy on behalf of the bride. It left me feeling as though customer service and flexibility were lacking in that moment, and that once we had already spent thousands of dollars, our concerns no longer carried the same weight. Our maître d' and wedding coordinator were both genuinely kind people. However, if having a highly organized, structured, and punctual wedding day is important to you, I strongly recommend hiring your own experienced day-of coordination team. While they were pleasant, they were not assertive enough to effectively manage the timeline or direct the bridal party and guests. For example, I specifically gave permission for the ceremony doors to be closed promptly at the designated time. Instead, the response was that guests were still arriving, which delayed the ceremony. I was also told the groomsmen were holding things up, despite the fact that they had been inside the venue for nearly two hours before the ceremony. As a bride, I was rushed downstairs only to stand and wait for almost an hour before actually walking down the aisle. That was an emotional and disappointing experience that could have been avoided with stronger leadership and coordination. Additionally, several of my bridesmaids shared that they felt the wedding coordinator was unnecessarily rude in her interactions with them. Between overpaying for guests who never attended and losing valuable time on one of the most important days of our lives because of inefficient direction, my husband and I were truly hurt. Those are moments we can never get back. Another issue was the bridal suites. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working properly in either suite. With so many people getting dressed and preparing, the rooms became extremely hot, and everyone was sweating throughout the preparation process. I highly recommend bringing your own fans just in case. If I could do it all over again, I would absolutely still choose The Legacy Castle because the venue itself is breathtaking, the food was outstanding, and we had a beautiful wedding. However, I would make a few important changes. I would hire my own experienced day-of coordination team to ensure the timeline stayed on track, communicate directly with upper management regarding important financial decisions like the final guest count, and bring additional fans to keep the bridal suites comfortable. Overall, I give The Legacy Castle high marks for its beauty, food, and overall atmosphere. My hope is that sharing my experience helps future couples prepare so they can enjoy their wedding day with fewer unexpected challenges. P.S. If you decide to book The Legacy Castle, I highly recommend asking for Mounir, the owner. Every accommodation I personally requested from him was handled with kindness, professionalism, and a genuine willingness to help. Looking back, I wish I had gone directly to him sooner with my concerns instead of trying to resolve everything through my assigned representative. That's something I take responsibility for. Absolutely phenomenal venue. We have had our company Christmas featured at this venue for a few years and wow what a treat and how royal we feel attending the party at this venue. They roll out the red carpet and were treated like royals. The food, the atmosphere, the fun events they offer in all the various rooms, the fast valet parking or shuttle drives, the quick coat check in, the photo booths and set ups and the abundance of food that's overflowing just as much as the drinks, appetizers and desserts all night long, the staff are absolutely fantastic. I wish it would let me rate The Legacy Castle higher than 5 stars. We hosted our junior prom here last night and it was out of this world. From the start when we first booked the event last year, to even the day after, the communication and service was amazing. I changed our guest count like probably 4 times as student interest fluctuated and they were so accomodating. The venue grounds are absolutely breathtaking. The valet service on the golf cart was incredibly convenient. We dropped off stuff the day before and it was held for us. We came back at noon day of to set up center pieces, leaving the tea lights off to turn on when we came back at 5pm. I came back at 5pm and they were all turned on. The cocktail hour food and the buffet food was top quality and it was fun food that the students would remember. We were in the Grand Ballroom which is gorgeous and we had access to all the balconies and the rooftop terrace area with the fireplaces. The best part, was the service. Nicole Badaan did a great job helping us book the place, Camryn the events coordinator was so incredibly thorough and helpful with planning the event and picking out all the details. The other Nicole was our attendant and Jaylene our maitre'd were absolutely incredible. They were there every step of the way during the event. They constantly checked in on us throughout the night, even preparing a platter of cocktail food for the chaperones who were working check in and couldn't be upstairs. When the night came to an end, they helped us pack up all our center pieces and bring them downstairs. At other venues, we have to bring everything down by hand with chaperones. They took care of everything for us. They waited outside with us until the last student got picked up. They had staff at every corner, including the bathroom, because they want the chaperones to enjoy the night as well. I barely lifted a finger yesterday as the class advisor for prom. We've heard nothing but positive comments all day long today from staff and students regarding prom and The Legacy Castle. This is our first time working with The Legacy Castle as a school and we will 100% be back in the near future for other proms and banquets. read more

Now that I have fully recovered from an intense, crazy weekend, I can leave a review! Last year, I decided that we wanted to throw a surprise birthday party for my grandma! We visited many venues, but instantly fell in love with The Legacy Castle. I actually found TLC while I was driving through the area a few months earlier, and I remember asking what is that place, and saying that I'd love to throw a party there (and I manifested it!). Once we knew that we wanted our party to be thrown at TLC, we were scheduled for a meeting and did a tour. The entire venue is gorgeous! It looked like a royal palace -- very fit for my beautiful grandmother! We were in contact with Nicole, who made sure we understood every single detail of our contract and any questions we had. This party couldn't have happened without both Nicole and Camryn. They were pretty much at my beck and call; through the rollercoaster of emotions and my anxiety, they made sure I had all my questions answered, and swiftly. Even when they were out of office, they always tried to respond in a reasonable amount of time. Both ladies were very patient -- and trust me, you will need patience to deal with me, lol. Now, let's get to the day of the party. Since it was a surprise, we wanted to visit earlier in the day to take photos and then leave and come back later for the surprise. Lesly, Cesar, and the rest of the team were amazing at making sure our surprise was kept a surprise. My grandma was under the impression that we were going to only have a photoshoot and then dinner. We had two guests arrive an hour early, and they were able to push them away w/o my grandma suspecting anything. The entire team was super accommodating for us. When we came back, Cesar snuck us in the back so we can enter the ballroom through the kitchen and my mom walked in with my grandma. When we got to our head table, they actually had some cocktail hour food waiting for us (we asked them if they were able to save us some food). Lesly and Cesar kept asking me throughout the night if there is anything we needed or anything to make the event better, but everything was already so perfect. Their selection of food was AMAZING and delicious. The guests can't stop singing the chef's praises. Chef, whoever you are, thank you! My folks are/were very happy! I love how much the venue has to offer. I would recommend it to everyone. I couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate my grandma's birthday. We started looking at venues for our wedding in May 2022. Although we leave in New York, we didn't like the venue that we visiting so far. There was something missing for us at every venue we went to visit. I was getting pretty tired after the fourth venue and all I wanted is a place to make me go WOW this is it. While I was on TikTok, someone posted a video about the Legacy Castle in NJ. I immediately forward the video to my fiancé. He called me and told me schedule an appointment to visit the Castle. When I arrived to the castle I meet with Michelle, she's wonderful and welcoming. I immediately fell in love with the Castle. Michelle and I came up with the perfect day for my wedding Saturday April 1, 2023. Although it was over 1 hour away from our home, because we fell in love with the place we book it April 1 for our big day. During our process to getting everything ready for that day, I realized all the vendors we choose needed insurance. All vendors must submit insurance papers 30 days before the wedding date if the don't have it, we have to purchase insurance to cover all vendors. Our DJ insurance did not include worker's compensation therefore we had to purchased a day policy for $300.00 (disappointing). Finally our big day has come, everything started beautifully, the staffs were friendly and welcoming. The bridal suite was very lovely and catered with fruits and champagne. Two of the staff members we were so pleased with Cesar and Ashley, words cannot even explain how wonderful they were. Throughout the day the power went out about 3 times and of course the generator kicked in. (I was disappointed by that) The food was amazing and the drinks perfect, Thank you Mr. Chef. My husband and I got married at this stunning venue in September 2021. It was always my dream to get married and have a fairytale wedding, and having the opportunity to get married at the castle made my dream come true. The attendants were on top of everything. They made sure we didn't need anything and everything was in order. The guests LOVED the cocktail hour and enjoyed the aesthetic and atmosphere of the castle. We obviously chose the castle because of its stunning decor, and our guests had nothing but positive things to say. The downside to my experience was learning that my mirror seating chart was shattered and it's unclear how it happened. I never received an apology and only found out after I noticed it wasn't packed with my belongings. It's something I wanted to keep as it was very special to me. A suite for the grooms out there would be a great investment. My husband had to get dressed at the hotel since a suite wasn't available for him to get ready in. This is a short review that doesn't include everything I loved about this venue; however, I highly recommend it. We recently hosted my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception at the Legacy Castle. The venue is indeed very beautiful just like all the other reviews suggest - and why not - they do charge you a pretty penny ! I do think however that TLC's customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Here is what happened - it was the afternoon after the wedding ceremony, a few hours before the cocktail hour/reception. My other daughter (sister of the bride) was sitting on a chair in the lobby waiting for her ride. She had changed into some casual clothes. A vendor in the meantime came over and left some suitcases near her - while she was sitting there, a staff member came up to her and told her that she was not to sit there and that she needed to clear out all that "junk" that was next to her. "This is not a place where you can be dressed the way you are" is what she was told. I don't care how good your venue is, speaking to my kid this way, after all the money that her family just spent on this venue, is absolutely unacceptable. And it's not as is she was dressed badly or anything of that sort - in any case, this has left a very bad taste in my mouth - and as far as recommending this venue is concerned, if you are willing to pay their price, there are several venues just as stunning where you and your family members will be treated a lot better than my daughter was, read more

Amazing place to walk around. I've passed the space so many times but this is the first time visiting due to a wedding. If you are getting married definitely recommend the place is magical. So here are my notes: Space for an event is A+. Valet / Greet staff was very good. Food: cocktail food was plenty and a lot of variety. Spoke to most of the guests and they really enjoyed the cocktail hour. Room was nicely set up and good space. Staff were nice. Funny thing is they make them wear the white gloved. I use to work banquets and well they are annoying and most of the time useless. They are dirtier and have more bacteria than just washed hands. Kept taking them off to do any real good service. I would give the Captain a B+. Not sure who it was but they definitely didn't work with wedding planner or person in charge of the flow. I went to the restroom and all the salads had been taken off. Apparently, there was lack of communication to the DJ and Bride / Groom to pause and let folks sit down for dinner. This happened again at the end for dessert. There was no clear communication so most guests didn't enjoy the dessert platter. I looked around as they were going off the tables full. Most guests never saw the plates because they were dancing. If it was my wedding, it would be different. I was a Captain back in the days, I made sure everything was coordinated to ensure guests had time to enjoy the food. Salad course not sure saw it but didn't eat it. Pasta was good. Main dish for me was the Filet which was good but overcooked. Tough to have it perfect when it is a large group...most wedding guests don't seem to get this. Personally, I would do medallions of filet. Easier to get to rare, medium and well. Beverages: they were ok but heavy on the booze. Don't think bartenders have enough training. Cocktail bar said that they didn't offer any non alcoholic drinks (club soda). I found it to be strange but let it go. Once inside the main dining room, it was available so not sure what happened there. On a separate note, I did ask one of the servers (young Josh) if he could find out about getting a club soda since I was not drinking. He offered me the cocktail bar. Told him my story of non alcoholic drinks. Said it was weird but maybe once we get moved to the room, it would be available at the other bar. He was sweet kid so I didn't make a big deal and decided to wait. I did ask him again if he can find out and let me know. Once we went into the room, it was available. Something for them to train the team. They need to be able to get things for guests and if they can't then go to a manager but if they are trained in great service....they can do it on their own specially a club soda. Restroom attendant very nice. Valet got my car quick. So overall a great experience. They could work on some minor things to get it to the expected level but I would recommend holding your wedding there. When we were planning to book a venue for our wedding I told my Wife lets go to The Legacy Castle and when you see the place I'm sure you will not want to book anywhere else. We sat down with Brandon and Michelle and after going over everything we wanted we decided to Book 6/4/23. Up until the wedding we were dealing with Camryn on the details of the wedding and everything that needed to get done with our vendors. She was very helpful and was even able to accommodate me with alternatives to my food allergies. Arriving on 6/4 we were taken care of by Caesar and Alexa and the service was 10/10. According to our guests the food was excellent and the service was spectacular. I can say I am somewhat of a perfectionist and I can usually find something wrong and I can truly say from beginning to end I did not have one complaint or wish I did something any other way? Thank you to the staff of The Legacy Castle for everything and I recommend this place to everyone. It really is a one stop shop for your wedding. This place is amazing! The grandeur of this venue was gorgeous! It was very that sad that the weather did not cooperate The staircase was a bit difficult hard for the girls with long dresses on maybe due to the heels and wetness outside, yet it looked great! The staff was constantly drying them The food was amazing, I didn't try it all, but the creativity of the display and quality of the prosciutto came through! Lobster tails, mini cheesecakes and tons of amazing sweets! Chicken and waffles, lemon chicken, carving stations with prime rib, turkey, and pasta with vodka sauce to name a few! I didn't even go to the fries and sliders, the students enjoyed them though! Salads were amazing. Along with meats and cheeses with roasted vegetables, I didn't even go around enough to see everything, but all was top notch! read more

I cannot say enough good things about the Legacy Castle. Mounir was so kind when we were booking our wedding, he has a very kind fatherly approach. Camryn and Michelle were very organized in executing every detail of our wedding. The food was EXCEPTIONAL! I didn't think food that was made in such large quantities could taste gourmet, but the legacy castle didn't disappoint. Not to mention their show-stopping Venetian Hour! The entire day had a 5 star luxury fairy tale feel and I wish I could relive it! We cannot wait to have other events at the legacy castle. The Legacy Castle itself is breathtaking and a place that will WOW you no matter how many times you enter. We mainly worked with Michelle and Camryn who made the whole process so smooth and seamless. They were amazing to work with. Their communication was so great through email and were always so patient and organized with the whole planning process. We felt so comfortable and trusted them from the day we met them. The service and staff on our wedding day went above our expectations.
