Love this location. I have never been able to get my passport there but I finally got one in Indy!!! Came back to Louisville loco to get a stamp and the employee was so nice! He made my stamp experience so fun. This store had soooooooo many fun stamps it was hard to narrow it down and I loved every moment. The staff never rushed me which I was appreciative since I have waited years to get a passport. I am a die hard Lego person and Lego has been God sent for my rheumatoid arthritis and ADHD! Nice store that will draw the kiddos in as they see the tables to go build Legos. And once you get in they will get you to buy something out of guilt for playing. Some huge sets that are pricey and some smaller ones are decent prices. Friendly staff that aren't pushy so good combo. read more

This continues to be a fun spot to pick up the latest Lego release. My son has been a dinosaur and Jurassic Park fan since he was little and he finally treated himself to the new set. It was a moment! Exclusive sets are offered with purchase based on your total. He qualified for both sets and it was such a surprise. We've since learned this is a regular promotion. The sets are exclusive and changed regularly. Sets range in price - and the popular ones can keep their value while some increase. Service is friendly and helpful, but they also allow families to wander and explore what's available without hovering. Love their yellow bags and how they stand out. Bricktastic Experience at Oxmoor Mall! This LEGO Store at Oxmoor Mall is a dream come true for any LEGO fan--young or old! The store is super bright, colorful, and packed with every kind of set you can imagine. I could have spent hours just admiring the detail in the display builds. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the store was really well organized. What stood out to me most were the incredible in-store displays: a full LEGO Ferrari, massive Star Wars ships (including the Dark Falcon and Jabba's Sail Barge), and even a theater scene filled with Minifigures in costume--so creative and fun to look at! They also had a fun life-size cat in a Santa hat made entirely out of LEGO in the window. It was adorable and added to the festive vibe of the store. This is a great stop if you're at the mall--even if you're not planning to buy anything, it's worth walking through just for the creativity on display. But fair warning: it's nearly impossible to leave without picking up a set or two. This Lego store has great customer service. They always have plenty of things stocked. They seem like they have pretty steady business. Especially on the weekends. I know legos can be pricey but they have a few lower priced items to choose from as well. read more

I'll start off by saying that I'm not a big Lego guy. To me they are mid night foot pains waiting to strike and over priced. Plus I've never been very artistic so I'm probably not the best judge of using them. They are very overpriced for small connector blocks that were originally designed to build motor skills of toddlers. Usually Lego store locations has all kinds of cool sculptures and stuff that people like myself can browse at and be struck in awe of people more proficient at developing those toddler motor skills then they were. However this location was very tiny and wide open with nothing of significance too look at. It was just absurdly yellow and empty and expensive inside. I took my oldest daughter and her best friend recently and they still enjoyed looking but even they noticed the lack of sculptures and art to stroke the imagination. So while I may be a bit harsh on most Lego stores due to my never developing toddler motor skills, this location leaves a lot to be desired. And seriously the amount of yellow in here would make big bird disappear in plain sight. read more

Now we can all die happy, we have a Lego store. I am really happy to have a showroom for the Lego sets I'd like to pick up for nieces, nephews, and other children who have parents who need to step on things in the middle of the night. They have a lot of buying options and one of my favorite things: the ability to replace missing pieces from sets you already own by purchasing them at the store. You can also build your own mini figures and some other cool stuff. You should give them a look, or you don't love America. read more

I love The Lego Store! It's so fun! So, I was really happy when this location opened in Oxmoor Mall. I'm so glad that our city finally has its own The Lego Store! Previously, I had only had the chance to visit in larger cities, like Chicago, so I'm glad we now have our own. I love this store, but I would like to see some more Lego decor. I'm a huge fan of the Pick & Build wall, it's like a rainbow of color! I also love that they have some sets built around the store, especially the Star Wars sets! I still wish this store had some larger pieces and maybe something local. I've visited other stores with multiple life-sized builds, which are really awesome! I would love to see some of those in this store. And, if they built something Louisville local, that would be amazing! Maybe one of our bridges, or a giant Louisville Slugger? If you're in the market for a really fun gift, for a child or an adult, The Lego Store is a great place to check out! If you know someone who loves puzzles, they'll likely love Legos. This is a very cool store that nothing but Lego Toys. Some of our Grandkids love to build things with Legos so we thought this would be a great place to see what was available and what was the latest and greatest. We saw many interesting sets to use to build some amazing things. The one that really caught our eye was the 50th Anniversary kit for the Apollo Moon landing. read more

Had such overwhelmingly positive experiences here that inspired me to write a review. The staff is AMAZING. They are SO friendly and SO helpful. We were shopping for a birthday gift for a 10-year-old, and the associate that helped us walked us through all the options. We even had a request we felt was sort of a reach and he was able to help find something. The 10 y/o absolutely LOVED his gift. It was a little customizable DOTS bracelet. He wanted us to have matching ones so I found myself back in the store buying one for myself. Great job team, will definitely be back here for all my Lego needs! read more

Oxmoor mall seems to have really been upgrading lately, and I'm thankful for that. The Lego Store has been another recent addition that has caught everyone's attention, as well as my own. Although I don't buy or play with Legos, I just love getting to go in the stores. They're almost like mini-museums with all of their fun displays to look at. It's also a bit nostalgic, in a way, as I used to play with Legos all the time when I was growing up. This store is a lot smaller than many, but it still offers quite enough in here. I've always found Legos to be pretty dang expensive for what you get, but they've been a successful brand for so many years now that I guess they can get away with it. I was so ecstatic that we had finally gotten an official LEGO Store here locally! Today they had a Master Builder building an 8.5 foot "Emmett" from the LEGO Movie, and the kids had a chance to help contribute. The setup for the event was well put together and adequately staffed. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful with the kiddos. After they built the giant bricks, they were able to get a certificate that certified them as Master Builders. They also had stations where the kids could build their very own LEGO picture frame to take home for free. The event itself was hosted outside the store, due to the store being too small. In regards to the store it was disappointing to see just how small the store space actually was after having been to stores elsewhere. For the size the layout of the store was well designed and considering the amount of foot traffic they were incurring it was very well kept. The staff were knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive to the customers. read more

You know it's a great Lego store when ADULTS are standing outside, waiting for it to open! Friendly, helpful staff, well stocked (only a few current items were out), full Pick-a-Brick bins and many items I was not aware were available yet. Didn't plan to spend much, but walked out with over $300 in merchandise. I'll be back when we're in town in June! read more

I love building legos and having a Lego store local is a dream come true! It's so awesome to be able to walk in and look at the kits instead of just buying online. The staff are always super friendly and even recognize me sometimes and ask how I'm doing. They all seem to like their job and genuinely enjoy legos as well. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and the Harry Potter sets are always top notch. I also love all the seasonal items. I don't personally free build but there is a whole wall in the back full of different color and shape pieces. read more

It's small, but it's cool. They have displays of the most expensive sets all assembled (as well as smaller sets), a wall of individual blocks in all different colors and sizes, and (our favorite) a custom "build a minifigure" kiosk. The staff is knowledgable and helpful, but also cool to kids who just want to play. There is a rewards program and new merch comes out on the first of every month. I walked in the store around 1:40 PM, I wasn't acknowledged until I walked up to the register to check out. Which was completed at 2:15 PM. There were three associates working and they greeted and spoke to every other guest in the store, but me. There were points that they walked near me as I was building a minifig for the BaM Box only to be still ignored and then converse with other guests in the store. It was only when I walked up to the register with a $250 Lego set did they even begin to try and talk to me. I have never been to a Lego store with such terrible customer service, save your gas money order online and forget about this location. read more

I was honestly really disappointed after walking in here. I understand that space is limited in a store at the mall, but it's just soooo small. They have some cool stuff, but there is no way I'd spend hundreds of dollars on a Lego set. There isn't really a whole lot I can say about The Lego Store since there isn't much going on inside it. I'm giving it four stars because the staff was nice, and everything was organized, but I have to take a star away because the atmosphere was just kind of stiff and boring. It was a letdown after growing up playing with Legos. read more
