Christy and her team were able to do hair & makeup for me, my mom, my two maid of honors, and my sister-in-law. They were able to drive out to the Sacramento area, and she and her assistant were able to do our makeup in a really seamless fashion. For make-up, I wanted something specifically in a very natural but still glam style, and not like in mainland China, where the makeup can sometimes be super intense. I came in a couple of days before the shelter in place order for the coronavirus. The first thing that impressed me was how clean the studio was and the measures Christy took to make me feel safe. Christy wore a mask and disinfected dresses after I tried them on. There was a nice collection of dresses to try on. I liked that many of the dresses had a range of sizes so you have more options. The problem with rentals is that you're limited to dresses that are in your size. But I tried on 6-7 dresses in my hour-long and found 2-3 that I liked. I found Christy's bridal studio when I was looking for places that rent out wedding dresses and ultimately decided to book the 6 hour pre-wedding photography and make up package with her. As a make up and hair artist, she's amazing and is able to bring out the best version of yourself without make up being heavy. My make up was very natural and my husband even complimented that Christy did a great job on making me look nice on the day of the photo shoot. We went to 4 locations during the shoot and Christy accompanied us along with our photographer for the entire 6 hours. I came here to try on wedding dresses sometime around maybe beginning of December 2021 and I had a pretty good experience. I must say though their store is on a smaller side and their dresses were pretty limited towards petite sizes. I figured since they were asian owned that they'd have more catered to us petite brides but they also lacked a lot of dress shapes that I like such as A-lines or ballgowns. I only ended up trying on 4 dresses and I think one of them was considered an evening gown but it just wasn't anything very WOW factor. Overall, it was a pretty short process and the selections weren't much for me but they do have more larger sizes but they were mostly of the slips or trumpets or mermaid designs.
