Ivy Ridge is a beautiful golf course, but also challenging, especially when the heather grows tall. The course can be intimidating, but I've always had a good time playing here. The course is so well maintained and they space tee times out enough and make sure groups are keeping up with the pace of play which is important. It's one of my favorite golf courses in WNY and one that I try to play at least once per year. They have an amazing clubhouse and a great practice facility as well. I highly recommend playing here! It can get a little pricey, but is very affordable to play in early spring or fall. They've hosted amateur golf events, with PGA golfer Dustin Johnson owning the course record. Out of all the Akron area golf courses, they also did the best job at hosting a tournament in memory of one of my best friends that passed away to raise money for UNYTS Donate Life. I can't say enough good things about Ivy Ridge.

One of the best in Buffalo. Condition and playability are second to none when it comes to public courses.

Great course. When the Heather is long it is such a tough links course. Greens and fairways are spectacular. You won't be disappointed.

We went for lunch based on reviews. Would give 5 stars for service but the food was 2 to 2.5. Fried…read morebanana peppers were good enough for a frozen product: the portion is big (as is the price) so good for a table but not an individual appy. Beef brisket on weck (their version of a Buffalo favorite Beef on weck) was very underwhelming! Smaller than average bun with equally small amount chopped "smoked" beef brisket where the smoke was almost undetectable. The bun was loaded with course salt on top which thankfully brushed off easily. Where's the horseradish sauce? Nope. None. Or so it seemed. Served with seasoned potato chips which were tasty but were ungodly salty. And.. wait for it... 3 see-through thin pickle chips in a separate plastic take-out cup which probably cost them more than the pathetic pickle they put in it. Why bother? So not to sound entirely negative the Grilled cheese with beef brisket was the winner and would be worth a reorder. Upgraded to Truffle fries which were also a pedestrian from-frozen frozen product also with way too much salt but were tasty. But then truffle anything is good. Bottom line: Not going to rush back except maybe to hear some music and a refreshment; maybe share a basket of deep-fried breaded banana peppers. Warning: If you have high blood pressure you may want to be cautious because of the salt overload in seemingly everything. If you want a really good Beef on weck go to Flavor Restaurant located on Buffalo Tournament Club Golf course in Lancaster. (No I am not an owner OR an employee just a foodie!)

Sight lines in the venue for the stage are great and the sound was good. They also have a full dinner menu and although we did not order any food the food we saw being brought out looked and smelled good. Will definitely be back for the food to give it a try

When it was time for me to pick a location for my wedding, I happened to remember Fox Valley and my husband loved it, so we booked it! At first, I was a little frustrated with them. I'm a last minute planner, so we were lucky enough to book Fox Valley just under a year before our wedding. The first event planner went out on maternity leave and then decided not to return to work (completely understandable). Then, we were assigned a new planner and she quit and no one told us! I found out by sending her an email and getting a rejection email back. Finally, we got Nancy and she was the saving grace! After running into so many bumps in the beginning, Nancy really put us at ease. Her primary role was to help us figure out what happens at Fox Valley like the food, table settings, centerpieces and chair covers. She was kind enough to go a step further and offer recommendations for the best florist, DJ and more! Our wedding was October 28, 2017, so it was right around Halloween. I really wanted that fall feel, so I asked if there was a way that we could have Southern Tier Pumking on tap, and unfortunately the answer was a no. BUT, Nancy ordered a bunch of bottled Pumking and we had more than enough to last us all night. The food was perfect. The staff was so friendly. The view is beautiful and I truly cannot think of anything to complain about no matter how hard I try. I loved my wedding day so much that wish I could relive it every year! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the Fox Valley Staff for making our wedding day so perfect.
