I've been to this location a handful of times for various bottles of alcohol ranging from wine to rum. I usually find exactly what I'm looking for whenever I come here. The alcohol options are well organized so it's relatively easy to find what you are searching for. Worse case scenario, you can ask one of the employees and they will help without hesitation. The prices here are decent compared to other liquor stores. This is a great location grabbing a bottle of alcohol for a gathering or your home. The service is quick and efficient. Great selection, good pricing and really convenient location. I went in looking for a bottle of wine and was pleasantly surprised to see a solid selection of sake and soju at affordable prices! Docking a star because of customer service. I've been a few times and had normal experiences, but today was odd. Similarly to another reviewer, the cashier SCRUTINIZED my out-of-state license. He scanned it, still doubted the validity of my ID, and showed another employee who then withheld my ID and asked me to confirm my address. I understand it's their job to verify age, but this felt like a step too far especially after scanning. As I was paying, the cashier still seemed to doubt my ID (and probably my entire existence lol) and I felt uncomfortable throughout the situation. read more

I have been to quite a few liquor stores in Brooklyn and by far this location has an outstanding selection and great prices. I live in crown heights and a bottle of Lamarca Prosecco ranges from 17.99 to 19.99 they have it for 13.99 and I have seen several other liquors here like vodka and Tequila $2 to $4 cheaper than many other stores . You can't go wrong purchasing your Liqour here. They also have a pretty cool selection of Sake. read more

I discovered the Liquor Store while I was doing my holiday shopping. I needed to pick up a few bottles and I wandered in. I'm happy that I found the Liquor Store because they had several difficult to find wines on their shelves. I found two magnum's of Faust Cabernet for $59.99, and I found Brancaia Tre super Tuscan for $18.99. There were many other good bottles in the store as well but I took what I could carry. There's a liquor store closer to me but I still make the trek to this place. Why? ... 1. Selection. There's a wide variety of spirits and wines. They usually have one or two bottles of Carménère which in my experience is harder to find that other varieties. There whiskey selection is pretty legit too. 2. Pricing. I generally find that prices here are often 10-20% lower than other stores in the neighborhood. There's often sales and discounts on handles of quality spirits like Johnny Walker and Dewars. 3. Convenience. They are opened until a decent time and the store is well lit and organized. Feeling lazy or don't want to leave the party to re-up on booze? There's delivery. Ive been a steady customer for some time now. Always fast, friendly service, whether a delivery or a visit. Today i had to just take a walk to get out of my house/office and sauntered in to my favorite local (only open) liquor shop. A little after 8pm i saw two employees get into an altercation that turned my stomach. One guy, nice friendly fellow who has delivered to me at my home (always with a smile)and the other one was a rude bully of a manager (?). The guy who always delivered to me so friendly was treated so abhorrently unprofessionally and sickening I will NEVER frequent this establishment again. There are things customers shouldn't see and this type of bullying was stomach turning. You've lost a customer for good. Ill go back to my monthly wine subscription. I love this place! Sometimes they have tasters, and the staff is so funny. It's a big space, with a lot to choose from. It's beautiful , clean , and they have AC and heat. I don't know much about wine, but he definitely took the time to walk me around the establishment, and helped me procure some impressive selections for my friend's Rosh Hashanah celebration. So, I've been a pretty good customer ever since The Liquor Store opened, ordering an average of $700 of wine per month from them. They have a good selection, and I really love their deliver guy (Babbo?). But I was out walking the dog the other day and stopped in without my wallet. I asked if I could just log into my account and pay for a couple of bottles with the credit card on file. The answer was NO...I would have to run home and either order delivery or come back with my credit card. My response - "No thanks, I will just shop somewhere else." Like I said, I liked the store so I thought I would give them a chance to woo me back. I emailed the staff about the issue, and got no reply at all. Zip. So now I shop at the two wine shops located 100 steps away, or just order from Fresh Direct. It's all about customer service, guys. Update/Response to owner: I simply asked to log in to my own account at the store, which required a username/password. Without that info, no one could have accessed my card. read more

Fantastic liquor store and they just opened recently! It's run by a few Korean gentlemen I believe and the prices are the lowest I've seen in New York. Also, because the owners are Korean, the soju prices are extra low, hahaha Either way, very nice pair of Korean gentlemen run this place and the selection and prices are good. I drink a lot of wine. I've been many times to all of the liquor and wine stores nearby, including Best Buy, Greene Grape, Gary's, and others. The Liquor Store.com (is that really their name?) is pretty good! The staff is friendly, the loved are very good, and it's very open and well laid out. If you want to walk in, fine some decent wine or booze, and be on your way- this is a great spot. I waited until I'd been a few times to review them. They stock a lot of good value stuff for very good prices. Bota Box and the like is barely over $20. They're not the best price for everything you can get nearby, but they're close. The staff is friendly. The only knock is that sometimes things I'm looking for to out of stock without notice. This is now on of my first stops for wine and liquor, and I'm very happy. read more

Very courteous staff I finally got my $5 off after countless amounts of purchases with a rewards card lol. Friends staff great prices and you can play ur lotto here if that's what ur into. AVOID.. THIS IS THE SECOND BAD EXPERIENCE.. I USUALLY BUY AT ASTOR..OR THE LITTLE SH OP ON ATLANTIC AND 3RD This is what happens when you are tired and lazy.. This evening I purchased a bottle of malbec that was listed on the shelves very clearly in 1 in. #s as 13.99.. At the register the dude with the reddish beard Rang It up as 15.99..I told him it was listed on the shelf as 13.99 and even went back to check it.. he rang it up again and still charged the 15.99 price.. I asked for the receipt and told him he was still incorrect..at this point he became surly and said he had to ring it up on the "tag price".. And did I want the wine for the $15.99 price.. I said no I wanted my money back..it took the hispanic manager who was working on the computer and another 5 minutes of explanation to get my $ back which they did with attitude.. In NYS to have to sell a item at the advertised price this BS about "Tag price" is BS And with attitude to boot. It was only a 3 dollar difference in price..but if you do that 50 times a day 7 days a wk.. I guess he was surprised when I asked for the receipt and saw the con.. & this is the second time this happened..also The selection is poor .. Really good prices. Didn't like the customer service. The young Latino boy stocking was friendly and funny but the cashier, an Asian man with glasses who looked about 30-33 (most likely owner of the store or related to) was very off putting. Almost like he didn't know how to react to me even though I was nothing but polite and kind. He would just kind of stare, reminded me of someone who was high off that good stuff but I'm almost certain that wasn't the case because he was kind of uptight and unbudging. Didn't greet me even though I said hi first but another person comes into the store on my way out and he's all about it . He carded me which is fine but HEAVILY scrutinized my idea, and then went to record my ID information in the computer as if he was doing a background criminal check. I don't know if this is normal but next time I go back I'll definitely mention it if they decide to card me again. I know black doesn't crack but let's be fair - I look older than 21. BnbI ordered online for store pick up and it was fast and easy. One product they didnt have in stock but would the next day for me which would of been the 4th and I already knew my day wouldn't allow for me to return for it so i opted to leave it for another time but the communication about it was also fast and efficient.
