We were told they took our insurance and the sign even said so. Wrong! We are stuck with an almost $200 bill!

Was only given a street address to go to-no bld #, where to report to, ect. Showed up at 630 am fro 7 am appt. no one at admissions desk, no one in radiology, no answer on the number posted on radiology door. Finally found someone who could direct me to right place. Arrived and told that I had to reschedule because they had not receive pre-authorization from my insurance. Told they tried to call me yesterday, but don't leave messages. They left messages when they wanted to schedule and ONLY call I received all day was NOT from their hospital! Asked what would cost without insurance-told "It's a costly procedure. You don't want to pay for it." "How much is it ?!" "Able to pay the fee quoted. handed her a credit card and told "We can't accept payment until you are vetted by our finance dept and they don't open until 715, which will be too late to do your procedure." Have spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone trying to find out what I need to do to "get vetted". Bounced through 5 departments, disconnected four times. Got in loop with their A I system of pressing numbers and it not registering them. While I a om the phone trying to find out how to straighten this mess out- got a voice message (but finance can't do that!) to reschedule. Got caught in their A I system again! Finally got another number to call and left message 2 hours ago. No return call as yet. Then received confirmation from my insurance that they did preauthorize!

I have had major withdrawals from not being able to get my medicine each month. I've missed a ton of work and missed out on big family events due to not being able to get them .Because it's a controlled substance they only give me one mo th at a time. I always gI've them 10 days notice when I'm going to run out. I leave messages, I talk to people at the front desk directly and It still doesn't get called into the pharmacy. This most recent time , I left a voicemail 10 days before my prescription ran out. Then I left another voicemail a few days later. this past Monday I called and spoke to someone at the desk. still nothing. I called again today and the lady says I need to be seen every 6 months to follow up on these meds . No one has ever told me that. It has been 6.5 months since my last visit . All the times I've called over the past 2 weeks and I'm just now hearing this? No call back, nothing. Keep in mind this is for narcolepsy and my follow up appointments take about 2 min because they have no idea what I've been through the past 10 years with this diagnosis. they aren't trained for sleep disorders. They charge an arm and a leg to say " how's it working" I tell them "great" and then it's over. $$$$$$ out the door for absolutely no reason. Do not go here. The lack of care for the individual patient is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to go without meds because they don't do their job correctly.

She is down to earth, patient, has a great bedside manner, and tells it to you straight. She was the only one who could help me at the hospital when I had some weird pregnancy complications. Clinic wise, the front desk staff at this location is friendly. In all my visits (there were probably close to 30) I only had a long wait one time and it was because the doctor got caught up with a complicated case. Front desk staff I have never had to wait to check in. Never had any issues with billing here. Nurses are great here. Would love to also switch to getting my PCP here but as with all practices the wait time for new patients is months out.

Once I was done Mrs. Tina walked me over to the surgery waiting area and Mrs. Dense let them know I was ready. I waited maybe about 15 mins before Sarah came and got me. She took my vitals and got me situated for the surgery . Dr. Chae came and let me know we would start around 10:30am. He is always upbeat and chipper. The anesthesiologist Dr. Weddle came in and explained what she was going to be doing durning surgery. She was very explanatory and nice. Her assistant came in and let me know what she will be doing as well. She was nice and friendly. They set me up with the prep... meaning they had already put some of the anesthesia in my IV so I felt myself fading. I woke up in recovery and the nurse I had was so nice and attentive. She made sure I was comfortable until my room was ready. When I made it to my room Rielly was my nurse and they were getting ready for upcoming shift change. She was very nice and attentive. Later on that evening; I had David as a nurse and Nyosha as my CNA.. when I tell you they both went above and beyond with my care. I have no complaints. David was very chilled and laid back. I love how attentive to my pain and over care for getting better to be prepared for home. He said on schedule with my meds and helped manage my pain very well. I didn't have to call him for anything because he was already 2 steps ahead. Nyosha made sure I was very comfortable and had all that I needed.. she stayed on top of me staying hydrated and kept me comfortable. Erica from nutrition was amazing. They made sure everything was good and on time.. so my husband ordering a guest plate was more than enough. He loved all the dishes he ordered durning my stay. The staff was very polite and super friendly. When the shift came in the morning, I had Celine the nurse and Fudy was my CNA. They were a great team as well. They had taken care of all my needs durning the morning. I had to stay one more night just to be on the safe side. I had Angelina my nurse and Alexa was the CNA. They worked so well together. They made sure I was comfortable and managed my pain. I was have some abdominal cramping and Angelina bought me some heating packs. What a life saver. They felt so good and warm that it help my tummy. Housekeeping was great. She was very nice and sweet. She cleaned my room both times while I was there. She was very attentive to detail and just very humbled. Everyone was extremely helpful and I do recommend them to family and friends.

I had been a patient at this facility for almost 8 years. I'm not someone who runs to the doctor --…read moreonly when I truly need to -- so in that entire time I was seen about 12 times and never had a single problem. My last visit was for severe quad pain after carrying my 90-lb dog up and down three flights of stairs. It was the end of the day and I was the last patient. I asked for a Toradol injection, which I had previously received at this same clinic for piriformis pain and it worked extremely well. The resident told me that because I had taken Advil earlier, Toradol might not be a good idea. I explained that the last time I received Toradol at this clinic, I had also taken Advil and was simply told not to take any more NSAIDs for a few days. He said he'd speak with the attending. The attending, Meg Burke, came in and again told me Toradol would not be given because it could hurt my kidneys. I repeated my prior experience at this very clinic. She said she would review my chart. When they came back, she simply said no. That was it. No alternative care plan. She never even laid hands on me for a physical exam. I then asked her -- calmly, though I was crying because I was in significant pain -- if she had any empathy. She immediately got up and left the room and encouraged the resident to leave as well. (He stayed and was actually decent.) The next day I read my care note and was shocked. It stated that I became combative after asking for -- and being denied -- a benzodiazepine. This is a blatant lie. I never once asked for a benzodiazepine. Not by class, not by name -- nothing. And honestly, what patient asks for a classification of drug instead of asking for the actual medication directly (like Valium or Ativan)? That alone makes no sense. In 8 years at this clinic I was prescribed Valium exactly three times -- 5 pills each time, for a total of 15 pills over nearly a decade. Once for flying, once when my son -- a Navy Special Forces operator -- went missing on deployment, and once when it was suggested by the physician for severe piriformis pain. That hardly constitutes drug-seeking behavior. Notably, the resident's note never mentioned me asking for benzodiazepines at all. Despite 8 years with zero issues, I was dismissed from the practice for being "combative" -- based on false charting. I reached out multiple times to the office manager requesting a call back and asking to add an addendum to my chart disputing this -- which is my legal right as a patient. My calls and emails were never returned. These doctors wonder why patients no longer trust the medical system. This is exactly why. If you are reading this, I would strongly suggest staying away. If you have no other option, do not see Meg Burke. In my experience, she falsified my chart, manipulated documentation, and then dismissed me to protect herself and her ego. Don't risk having inaccurate information placed in your permanent medical record.
