Being in here you don't feel like you're in Coronado... which is a good thing! It is very low-key and chill, this is a great hidden gem.

Interior is from the 1980s or 70s...but still clean, dark, faded red carpet, vintage wood panel walls, beer decor, a single pool table in the back, an older, friendly and gentlemanly bartender, and a clientele that was 90% men at this early hour. Three craft lager beers and a generous mimosa was $29, which I thought was very reasonable in an expensive, ritzy, and yuppy filled city like Coronado. read more

Came through here very spontaneously strolling through Coronado on a sunny afternoon based on a friend's recommendation as a good bar to swing in and grab quick drinks thanks to their affordable prices/deals. Ambiance: Little Club has the classic local dive bar vibe with the dim lighting, music playing on the juke box, area with the pool table, and seating around the bar. They have more of the country bar aesthetic too just based around the music and the decor. Service: the bartender was hilarious and very generous with the pours (I handed my shot that was filled to the brim to another friend and she proceeded to fill all four of our shots to the point of guaranteed spilling). She initially asked for our IDs before joking that one look at us and she could tell we were clearly over 21. Also seemed like she was very in tune with the other patrons as well which continues the theme of them being a local watering hole. Drinks-wise: We were in for only one drink, but my friend mentioned that he comes here regularly for their drink deals; one of which is $2 Fireball shots (which we asked about but it was not the right day). I also saw another sign for "beer shots" which looked interesting but would have to try if I ever return. In summary: Little Club checks the boxes as a local spot to drink and hang out, or in our case swing in for quick, affordable drinks before bar hopping. They play great music if you're into the country vibe, and the bartender that we had served us well. I don't live in the area so can't say I'd go out of my way to come back, but if I'm ever strolling through Coronado to paint the town again, I'd definitely consider swinging by. read more

Me and my friend came to this bar for the first time and the bartender asked for ID so we our IDS to him and he scanned them and proceeded to serve us our alcoholic beverages mind you we are both 22. Then after he gave us our drinks he rudely asked us if it's our first time in a bar and how old we are which we accidentally said 21 because we were caught off guard and we thought he was joking around. He then said he will not be serving us anymore drinks after letting us keep our drinks. I asked him didn't you scan our IDs? and he said the machine isn't always accurate which makes no sense why is it even there then? Would not recommend coming this bar. read more

I just walked in, and the bartender refused service for no reason. Didn't want to give a reason or talk at all. I've been here 3 times in the past 2 weeks, and never caused a problem. The Karaoke person was even happy to see me the second time. I'd mention a name, but this guy refused to even give me his name. I'd say poor service, but there was no service at all. If you're having a bad day and you walk into here. Be prepare to have your day ruined even more by the older Caucasian man. My friend and I came in to have a drink. Bartender takes our id, scans it and inserts it into his computer. He then proceeds to serves us. Only to start interrogating us " is this your first time at a bar?" How old are you. Mind you we both thought he was joking and said 21 accidentally when we're both 22. He then proceeded to not serve us anymore and say his scanner isnt always accurate? So WTF is the purpose of it? Order a "beer shot" and definitely wasn't disappointed. Great service, friendly and welcome staff. Drinks priced extremely fairly. Over all great place! It's definitely become our favorite. So much that we travel from Oceanside just to enjoy some great drinks and mellow environment. read more

A real dive bar, and not one of those dive bars that say they're dive bars. It felt like I wasn't in San Diego. A real simple spot, with a pool table, some TV's, and a juke box. Idk who was on the juke box but it's really country. And I mean REALLY country. Cheap drinks, low key. Definitely worth a dive in if you're with a friend and want to find a cheap drink and an enjoyable time. Restrooms were very clean, tables are comfortable. read more

Was only here for 2 months but I probably came to this bar like 30 times. Very cheap drinks and all the bartenders are awesome. Huge shout out to Lori and Paul for always keeping the glasses full and the vibes mellow. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax at a dive bar and drink. They have like 7 TVs and always have a game on for football days. Karaoke Monday is always a great time aswell to have drinks with friends and embarrass yourself. If I return to California again I'm definetly putting this at the top of the chain of places to visit as soon as I get here. read more

Horrible customer service to just one person. I came in just to unwind after a not so good day. Got me a cold one, as I am looking for my card to open a tab, I graced my drink and end up breaking in front of me. The bar tender ask what happened, and I said that I was sorry. I don't know his name but he's an older caucasian guy. Never smiled, never showed interest like he gives two f**cks with customers. He told me that "Just leave, we don't need you here". A great little place just off Orange Ave! It's decor is a bit older, but that's part of the charm. Very clean and well kept. You can't beat the prices; $2 for a can of PBR, 50 cents for a soda. It seems to be more of a local bar with a a laid back crowd. I always enjoy trying these smaller place. Plus, the PBR sign out front drew me in. read more

I've been coming here for 3 years as a patron and the roller skating local but was recently told to not entertain the guests and make a spectacle when I'm in my roller skates. As the manager said, "the bouncer shouldn't have let you in." Well, plenty of other bars that charge full price as well on orange Ave. I'm just surprised that my skating was such a liability considering I arrived shortly after my friend was pinned up against the wall with a knife to his throat by another patron. read more

A Classy Dive in Coronado This place seems like the perfect hole in the wall on this island. It can be hard to find places here that aren't over the top on prices or flashy presentation, and this place is great if that's what your trying to avoid. 2 pool tables, an arcade game or two, very large bar, and a patio. I love coming here on weekdays because sidewalk parking is great. Weekends are alright too and it is not hard to find parking. The bartenders and bouncers are all very nice as well. Don't let the name fool you-- this place is not a "club!" I like that the drinks are cheaper than most bars in San Diego. The crowd is so laid back. The bartenders are quite friendly. A great bar away from all the crowds in downtown/PB/North Park. They have two pool tables and a "jukebox" where you can select some songs. I never really have trouble finding a seat here. The place is spacious. I like the $3 beers, $5 shots or mixed drinks, $5-7 wine! Such a great selection to unwind with after work. They also sell some chips. My only complaint? It is cash only and their ATM would charge most an extra $3. Always come with cash on hand! Will be my go-to work bar! read more
