I'm really going to miss this place. For years, it's been my favorite spot for vegan food (and Red Cup) in OKC, and I always appreciated how much thought went into the menu. While returning home from a cross country trip, I discovered this restaurant via the HappyCow app. Upon visiting their website, I saw that their options were either pickup or delivery so I called to inquire about nut free menu options since hubby is deathly allergic to nuts. The employee who answered the phone was friendly and knowledgeable in informing me that they have two nut free bowl options which are the orange chicken and the sesame rice bowl. Since hubby also wanted a buffalo chicken sandwich, I asked the employee if this food item contained nuts and after confirming with another employee, she replied that the sandwich was also nut free and consists of their store made chicken tossed in buffalo sauce, cabbage, and vegan ranch. Following my phone call and after reviewing the restaurant's menu online, I ordered the down home bowl consisting of cashew mac and cheese, their store made TLB chicken tossed in BBQ sauce, grilled broccoli and topped with green onion while hubby got the orange chicken bowl as well as the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Upon arriving at the restaurant, hubby and I were warmly greeted by a restaurant employee and I was pleasantly surprised that once could order inside the restaurant in addition to the online pickup and delivery options. The inside of the restaurant has an upbeat atmosphere with happy, bouncy music playing as well as various signs of solidarity with. Inside the restaurant, visual signage show customers the difference in bowl sizes between their standard regular bowl and a larger loaded bowl. Although I was excited to be able to purchase a premade orange chicken wrap to eat for the next day while on the road trip home, unfortunately, hubby was saddened to learn that their gravy for their mashed potatoes contains walnuts. The food pickup process was efficient and I was happy to be able to purchase additional sauces, premade wrap to go, and drinks to accompany our meal. Overall, the food was cooked well, presented beautifully, and was very tasty as well as filling. With a variety of menu options to choose from as well as generous portion sizes, I absolutely plan to visit "The Loaded Bowl" the next time I'm in the Oklahoma City area. read more

We stopped here on a cross country roadtrip for my sister in law who is allergic to gluten and dairy. This whole road trip she'd be stuck eating salads and grilled chicken so we wanted to find something fun for her. This place did not disappoint! Even the rest of us with no food restrictions enjoyed the food. I got a side of Mac and cheese, my sister in law and her husband got the buffalo Mac and bbq Mac. She also got one of every gluten free dessert lol. The girl work was nice and helpful and the place is cute and gives hipster vibes. Very small inside so you can't eat there but outside to the right there's a big patio common area with tables. The food was really good. I'd say the "Mac" was more like a pasta dish as the cashew cheese is thick not gooey and creamy liked you would get in traditional Mac. But the flavor, consistency, and temp were still incredibly good. The desserts were our fave. They did not taste vegana or gluten free. They tasted like the real deal. The mash bowl reminds me of the kfc bowl, I enjoyed it! The orange chicken bowl is on point, my only issue is I didn't see a sub for the brown rice. I understand the healthy concept. I just wish I could've subbed the brown rice. Other than that it was good. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese, don't expect the traditional Mac cheese. This Mac has a different taste, it's edible just not my favorite. I loved the lemonade it wasn't too sweet, I like the tart taste. Finally went to try out The Loaded Bowl today and it was DEFINITELY worth it! The staff was very helpful and the food came out fast. I ordered the Orange Chicken Bowl, the bowls come in two sizes and they are very generous with their portions. The TLB was glazed with a sweet orange sauce and the fried rice and broccoli were cooked exceptionally. Since I've had to change my diet for medical reasons (I have EOE and dairy/gluten cause reactivity), I've cut all daily and gluten from my diet. It's nice to know I have options with The Loaded Bowl like the Mac & cheese options, Loaded TLB nachos, or gluten/dairy free desserts. This has been a lonely and sometimes sad journey of recalibrating to my new normal, however, TLB has been a comfort in this transition for the foods (especially queso) I crave... their chips and queso (dairy free) are unmatched. Today I ordered my THIRD veggie Mac n cheese bowl. Yes, they are THAT good. I have been ordering at least once daily since Tuesday, and have not been disappointed in the quality at all. The ingredients and freshness make this place my favorite spot since coming to OKC on assignment. One thing I have become a die hard fan of, are the cookies. The GF rolled oats 'cookie' is so delicious and it fills me up. It gives me a nice energy boost to start my day, and feel fuller longer. I've also loved the S'mores cookie - which tastes like heaven especially with the melted caramel and marshmallow combination! I loved your food from the first order, and have raved about it to everyone around me. The noodles are made perfectly and the food always arrives warm and ready to feed your soul. Today I ordered the standard chocolate chip cookie (not Gf, but that's okay!) and it was amazing. It was listed as one of your popular orders so I had to try it. I'm glad I ordered two, because the first one was an easy devour - the flavor and chewiness made it perfect. I just wish I had some oat milk to dunk it in! They don't have tables as it's take out only but we found some picnic tables just a few steps away at what looked like a public area (don't quote me but we sat and ate there and no one kicked us out). They also have a little water station that you can grab a cup of water while you wait. Loaded bowl is right by the farmers market so it's the perfect way to spend an afternoon: grab some lunch then grab a coffee at the farmers market and walk around. We both got the loaded mashed potato bowl and it was delicious and even a hint spicy. We got the large size and it ended up lasting each of us 2-3 meals! LOVED this place! Was so excited to find a good Vegan place for my partner to go to. The Fast Food sandwich was delicious and reminiscent of a classic Chick Fil A sandwich. All-vegan spot specializing in comfort food bowls. Great stuff. I stopped in for dinner and realized they're a counter-serve, to-go only place. No matter -- my order was ready in under 10 minutes. I got the chicken melt bowl (loaded size, i.e., large, $14.50 plus tax), which comes with a base of fried brown rice, raw spinach, TLB "chicken", cashew cheese sauce, squash relish, and guac. Interesting mix of stuff -- the relish was the only odd thing that didn't quite work, being sweet and pickled and out of accord with the rest of the stuff. Nevertheless, the rice was done nicely, as was the "chicken" and cashew cheese sauce. The portion was enormous -- I couldn't really finish it all. I also got a side of mac & cheese ($3.50 plus tax), which was totally unnecessary given the humungous portion of the bowl. Regardless, the few spoonfuls I did have were tasty. Nice stuff. It was a great balance of sweet, citrus and ginger! The rice was also flavorful and the broccoli had a nice kick to it! Every bite kept me digging my fork back in for more. It was outstanding!!! #1 recommendation. My friend had the layered enchiladas! The chefs who are in the kitchen are doing some sort of voodoo because they made the sweet potato base filling taste like traditional enchilada components! And that cashew cheese.... whew! Regular is a plentiful portion that keeps me full! The flavors are delicious, and you don't feel guilty afterwards! The mac and cheese is definitely one of the better ones I've had. My bowl needed a little more salt, but that's a quick fix. The maple chilli chicken was absolutely spot on. I'm not sure if I'm right here, but I'm assuming the "chicken" was made with soy curls. I'll ask the next time I'm there! Anyway - the chicken was just perfect. The sauce was great, the texture was great. You could probably fool a meat lover with these pieces of chicken and they'd fall for it too. On the layered enchiladas - just. Yes. Yes, yes, yes. Sweet potato was an excellent touch to the salty vegan cheese on top, salsa was great - and the lentil + soy chorizo's texture and taste was so good, you won't even miss the meat. This is the best buffalo sauce I've had on or off meat. It's so incredible. And the soy protein is really good!!!! Texture is just like chicken or something.
