When I returned the next day to report the incident and request a refund, the store manager (Yamac) was extremely unprofessional. He dismissed my request for compensation of any kind, called me "just a person off the street," and even threatened to press charges when I warned other diners about our experience. UPDATE: The regional manager Nic reached out and handled matters differently. He acknowledged Yamac's poor response and remedied the situation respectfully and professionally. While the initial food safety issue and Yamac's terrible response were unacceptable, Nic's intervention shows that leadership does care about making things right when problems occur.

We watched as a large group that clearly arrived long before us, finally got their food after 35 minutes of us having put in our order. A couple across from us showed up at least 20 minutes after us, got drinks, food and the bill before we were even offered a second drink or told about where our food was. During the time, we watched as other patrons came in, were served their food and left before our food even arrived. After about 40 minutes, our server came around and said 'it shouldn't be much longer, we're training kitchen staff so it's taking a little longer'. Not our problem, and clearly not true seeing as so many others who arrived after us were getting their food. The entire time we were waiting, servers stood around the register talking and not really checking on tables. By this point, people kept rolling in, the place got busy and we still didn't have our food 45 minutes after ordering. When our orders finally showed up after 53 minutes of being placed, mine wasn't what I ordered. I asked for a pan fried fish burger and got pan fried fish. The server was adamant that's what I ordered and proceeded to tell me that 'the only difference is the bun and veggies, otherwise it's the same fish'. I was quite surprised at the comment rather than offering to make it right. Given we had a waited nearly an hour for our food by this point, I sucked it up and just ate what I got. Service here is definitely lacking and it's clear staff doesn't have the skills required to deal with people. While the food was alright, the sides looked like they were scraped off of other peoples' plates and just thrown onto ours. No one bothered to check on us or apologize. The hash felt a little dry with just toast but then with some jam on the toast, it felt perfect. The toast, their homemade wheat and white mixed was a chunky one,very soft, huge portion size.. homemade jam was delicious too. Omelet too was nice, but overcooked for my liking but good otherwise. You could hear the sizzle of eggs hitting the pan while you wait for your order and then you hear the bell ding, meaning your order is ready, gave the place an old work charm.
