Due to…read moremy delayed review I've now forgotten our stylists name but want say she is what made our experience so perfect. The name Madison keeps coming to mind so for now let's reference her as such until I can confirm when booking his next cut. My little dude got his first haircut here. Madison was professional, patient and went above and beyond. My son loved her and did great, he did sit still as the name implies thanks to their processes in place aimed at achieving this goal so you can cut a child's hair. The car chair and iPad kept my son distracted as she worked her pro magic and good with kids vibes. He was so happy and the cut looks great. The shop itself is bright and colorful and screams kid, which also made me happy haha. The salon is perfect for first time cuts as well as recurring and I saw both, and all happy faces. At the end, Madison put a locket of his hair in a little bag enclosed in a windowed shiny bag with toys and a dated certificate with his picture for keepsake. Mandy was patient and kind and explained what was going to happen before she did each step. The hairwash is optional but my daughter wanted it and really enjoyed the massage! Mandy asked us what we wanted, and did little things like use my daughter's favorite color clips while cutting her hair. She was knowledgeable and informative. Bonus: for a kids haircut-they give you a bouncy ball at the end! They also have first haircut certificates that are super cute! I will be coming back here with her again. Plus, wanted something that's a closer drive to my home/work. My appointment on Tuesday was with Ashleigh, @locksandlore, and she was the absolute sweetest. Even though she's a curly specialist, I wanted someone who truly understands my hair as I make this big shift. I also saw Danielle, @fairiehairie, for the wash and style after the cut and she was lovely. Everyone there was so professional and friendly! Am looking forward to coming back as a regular client to Snapdragon, and plan to get some color and a Brazilian Blowout in the coming months.

That's because this salon is serious about their commitment to the most natural professional hair care products out there. I've been to another "organic" salon in Phoenix, and I was disappointed to find that the products they used were not very different at all from conventional salon products. When I came to Abloom, I instantly knew that I'd found MY PEOPLE. They do special treatments using coconut oil & essential oils, and you can buy all-natural sugar scrubs, deodorant and perfume. They even use natural soap in the bathroom, and make many efforts to be "green". Alex has taught me ways to style my hair with very little product, and no heat! To me, this is the kind of stuff a true organic salon should be doing. These are the kinds of things that are important to my values & ethics, and I love that I've found a place that respects those same things. As far as my actual hair, I've only gotten cuts & styles here, and they've done a beautiful job every time. I always leave very happy. My hairstylist (unfortunately I don't remember her name :( was incredible. I was doing research of Japanese head spas and that's how I ended up finding this place. It was very relaxing and left like feeling princess Diana ‍. The vibe of this salon is industrial with a warm touch.
