This place is a gem. A last min google find. The food was amazing from the burger to nachos to wrap. the drinks outstanding. The vibe is sports bar meet man cave vibes and loved it, like watching football at a friend's house. The service was great. Will be back hockey just started.

Good Food Short review, only got to stop in for a quick drink and split a sandwich. Place was hosting a large birthday party and was closed to the public that night. Nice, friendly, good looking bartenders serving a good drink and the sandwich was home made, very fresh. Smaller quaint place with a comfortable setup. We'll be back and I will embellish more on this review. Thanks

The "Rhody Flip" pizza special 4/27
    Kristen S.

Was excited that DoorDash would deliver to us in Attleboro. We ordered a Rhody Flip pizza that was a special (think bakery pizza but elevated), plant-based burger with a side of fries and a side of onion rings with a side of their homemade ranch. Wow! I was surprised at how delicious everything was as sometimes with delivery, the food isn't as good as it would be hot and fresh out the kitchen. We loved everything. The pizza dough was amazing and the sauce was generous and yummy. I had the plant-based burger the next day. It was huge (2 meals worth) and did not have me missing the beef vat all. Will definitely order this again and we want to try more of the pizzas!

Definitely an asset to East Providence. Interior is nice as is the staff who showed me to the take out building. Everybody was friendly and efficient. The pizza by Moving Dough is solid. Definitely fresh dough, sauce, cheese and basil for their margarita. Their burger and fries are also tasty and fresh. Definitely makes me to sit down and dine. Website is fine. I would just add a space for other notes.

50 cent wings - buttery buffalo and spicy Korean.

Great sports bar with many screens so you can easily see your game from any seat. They had plenty of seats at the bar, high top tables, standard tables, and an outdoor space with even more tvs! We arrived at the end of a live music set, which was good but very loud for how small the space is. Overall, loud is definitely one of the main descriptors I would use for The Local. We had to nearly shout at each other from across the table. The other descriptors I would use are well priced and delicious. They have tons of great specials - we got the 50 cent wings since it was after 7pm, and they were so tender and well flavored. I also got a Rodeo burger, which was very tasty and still tasted good leftover. They have a diversity of seasonal drinks that are cheaper than expected but the size of the drink sort of evens out the price. Overall, definitely will be back for watching some sports and eating delicious wings.

Went to an event in the area and we were looking for food afterwards. We stumbled upon this restaurant and thought we'd give it a try. We arrived about an hour before the kitchen closed and were nervous that it's shut down early but it didn't. Instead, the bartender/waitress Tracy had a greeted us so warm and welcoming. She went above and beyond her roll to ensure that we were feed as soon as possible without compromising on the quality. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very clean sport bar. It was very welcoming as well. The food was absolutely delicious and arrived steaming hot, just the way that I like it. I wish this restaurant was closer to my house because I would be a regular there. Upon talking with Tracy we learned that the restaurant had only been open for 2 years. If it continues to focus on the food quality and flavors, maintain the level of cleanliness and customer service I forsee this being a very successful business. I will definitely make the drive back there to eat. Side note - my brother also got the chicken sandwich and liked it so much he ordered a second one Another note - the food quality to price ratio (something I really care about when I go to a restaurant) was awesome. The meal was affordable and delicious

My go-to sports bar. Plenty of tv's in a decent sized building. Delicious food and a good selection of beers. The service is attentive and friendly. They have a big screen tv on one end that has couches and a high top. This place makes you feel right at home.

Service was good, no issues with Waitress on her first night on the job. Ambiance seemed a little "off", no decoration inside main room on walls or tables--barren! At least two of the big screen TV's in main space not turned on and a third was showing a re-run of last night's NFL game--until we asked for it to be changed to tonight's Live NFL game! It feels "cafeteria-like" the way the tables are arranged in main area. There was a backhoe parked behind the building so we assume they're still finishing renovations. Otherwise it's free, on-street parking in the surrounding neighborhood or main road. The 'pull' door (not automatic) is at ground level and once in the vestibule, there is a ramp up into the restaurant and steps up into the bar area. We sat at a high top in the bar area. Two dining rooms have wooden tables and chairs, mostly in a four-top size. The bar area has a high, vaulted ceiling and the two ceiling fans are a large baseball in a glove. Cute. Walls are real wood paneled on the bottom 2/3 and painted cream at the top 1/3 with dark wood floors. Everything looked nice and clean and cozy. High-tops in the bar area each had bag hooks under the table top which I love. Our waitress was the bartender. The bar was about half full and there were maybe two other tables in the restaurant. She brought over place mats, flatware and menu's and took our drink order. The menu is large and includes sandwiches, burgers, steaks, apps, soups and salads, plus. It's pretty big. We had a good amount of time to review all the menu options, plus the 'specials' menu she left with us. We both chose steak based entrées. A table top sign lists some seasonal adult beverages available and the menu includes other bar selections. Food was brought out by a kitchen employee. I think it may have been the cook/chef. It took a while for the food to come out of the kitchen and I suspect it's bare bones staff during the week. They were very friendly and asked if we needed anything else. The waitress also stopped by after several minutes to check in with us. The steak was tender however those knives need to be replaced. Because it was hard to cut, I thought the steak would be 'tough', but it was very nice. The fries are excellent. I did enjoy those. Mashed potatoes appear to be 'real' (not reconstituted flakes). My steak was a bit undercooked but I only ate about half. I concentrated on cutting the outer bits which left the center a perfect temp for reheating at home. It heated up quite well and was still tender. So in the end, it worked in my favor. Although I'm not sure how they fry the egg on top of the Portuguese steak, it was fluffy and had a nice soft yolk. (I could have sent the steak back to be re-fired if I was unhappy, but knew I'd probably not eat it all, so again, it worked in my favor) Gendered restrooms are off the bar area. Ladies has two small stalls with no gaps at the edges. Thumbs up for that. Men's room has a stall and a urinal (I asked, didn't look). Not sure about another comment on here regarding 'no lock' on the men's room. The stall has a lock. If you need privacy, use that. Each restroom is too small for a changing table. I asked about the parking situation as the lot is not big enough to accommodate all the tables and after talking about on-street parking options was told on the weekends (Friday - Sunday) it's a full house. So do plan some time to find parking. I'm not sure they take reservations though and the vestibule has only one seat that I noticed for waiting. Food quality is good. Service is friendly. Full bar. Big menu. Clean restrooms. Only the parking situation is possibly problematic and that's really a state of mind. Desfrute da sua refeição!

When I walked in, the bartendress was very nice and helpful. She refilled my water bottle, talked through beers, and changed the TV to the bowl game I requested, despite a lot of back and forth on New Year's Eve. While I was at the bar I looked over at the guy next to me and his steak was amazingly perfectly pink throughout. People around me sounded very happy with the size and flavor of their drinks, but as far as beer goes there is a limited tap, all on the lighter side despite 15-16 openings. So the bar is great. Stay at the bar. Finally my friend arrived and we went for a table. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. First, I discovered that the only restrooms in the building are tiny, meant for one person but not a locking door. I ordered clam chowdah, cod fish cakes, and the obligatory stuffie, all at the same time (same for my friend, no appetizer). All in all, it took nearly an hour for the chowder to come out, and the place was far from packed, with a few but not overwhelmingly many to-go orders. Finally, the chowder came out. Waiting, waiting, tasted... another 5-10 minutes before the other food started trickling so I could finally eat while my friend did the same. Chowder: 2.5 stars. It looked thick and creamy, but it was overwhelmingly potato. I was hunting and there are a few clams, but it's not even soup. It's potato. Just too much. Cod fish cakes: 2.5 stars. Way too much breading. I tried and could not actually taste any fish. I'm sure it's in there somewhere, but minced to smithereens so you can't tell. Stuffie: 3 stars. Another place where it's mostly breading, but at least my notes say "decent amount" instead of "where's the clam?". My friend: He loved the chicken half of the chicken parm, said it was cooked perfectly, but left the noodles. Generic noodles, the sauce he said didn't taste store-bought but the tomatoes were definitely canned. And the kicker? They never brought us napkins. Verdict: A low 3 stars overall, and that's mainly for the bar side of things. Stick to drinks.

It would have been nice to have been offered a bread basket, but that seems to be going the way of the dinosaur in restaurants. Our server was fine. The restaurant, while basic, was clean. The entire menu is available during opening hours. I thought the prices were a bit high for a tavern. Perhaps smaller lunch portions of the entrees for a reduced fare? I did consider the Portuguese steak sandwich, but at $18.95 thought it too expensive. I have friends who absolutely LOVE this restaurant, but I was underwhelmed. If you're not, you kind of feel it. This time was different. The service was welcoming. Helpful. Like they were actually happy to see us there. Rosa's does Portuguese and Italian with what they call a modern twist. Family owned by local townies on Waterman Ave in East Providence. Small room, black chairs, ceiling fans spinning, TVs on the walls. Not fancy. Not trying to be. For Lord of the Pies, they offer four flatbread-style pizzas. We got the margherita and the meatball. The meatball was the easy winner. Good sauce, well-seasoned meatballs sliced thick, cheese that did its job, and a flatbread crust that hit all the right notes. Crispy. Chewy. Flavor in the bread itself, which is rarer than it should be. Everything worked together. This was a nice little pie. The margherita missed. Bright red sauce, fresh mozz slices, but someone back there buried it under dried basil. You couldn't taste anything else. And they stacked the slices on top of each other when they brought them out. The cheese stuck to the pieces on top and got carried right off the ones underneath. Who does that? Fresh mozz doesn't survive stacking. Basic physics. The flatbreads fit the menu. Rosa's is a Portuguese and Italian spot doing things their own way. The meatball flatbread could hold its own against their steaks and Mozambique dishes. Skip the margherita, though, or ask them to go easy on the basil and plate it flat. The vibe was much better this time. Maybe it was the server. Maybe it was us with a camera crew. Either way, it felt more like the family they promised us on their website. Definitely come see for yourself.
