    Monteray Chicken Sandwich
    Brandi D.

Stopped by the Beach Café in Harrah's for a casual bite. I ordered the Monterey chicken sandwich -- it was just okay. The bun was actually really good (soft and toasted just right), but the chicken itself was a little dry and didn't have much flavor. Kinda bland overall. Service, though, was great -- super friendly and on top of things. My mom and sister both got burgers and said theirs were good, so maybe I just picked the wrong thing this time. Might give it another try, but I'd go with a burger next round.

Place is pretty good. After 9pm only place at harrahs to eat is here or smashburger. I got a BLT the first night and a Veggie Omlette the 2nd day. Both very good. They used to be open 24 hours. They should go back to that. Its not covid anymore laughlin is getting popular again.

My wife enjoyed her liver and onions but my hamburger was burnt. My coleslaw was good, however. We had to wait a bit after ordering. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. There were many entrees, plates, and menu items offered for modest prices. Perhaps we dined on a bad night.

Atmosphere cool cozy, friendly staff. Salads were good portion size and flavor was good. Burgers were small. Make the time to order at Smashburger instead. The zucchini was soggy like the oil was.bot.hot enough and the zucchini absorbed the oil....

    Bacon ranch chicken

We had a pretty tasty dinner here while in town. The bacon ranch chicken was very tasty. The ribeye was also good, but very thin fyi. Comfortable booth seating for right off the casino floor. I'd rate the dinner higher, but there was a weirdly long wait to get seated and to pay. Short staffed maybe? Server was friendly and quick at least.

Service was very good, we were helped quickly, and and food was hot and fresh. We ordered a burger, a chicken sandwich, the chicken parm, and a salad. The chicken was a little dry on the sandwich, and the noodles in the parm were a little over cooked, but prices were good and people were nice. The place is clean and it was quiet tonight, not sure how it is on the weekends. They have a great drink special on the special menu. The fries were so good and hot, they were more enjoyable than a lot of other places.

    Country fried beef fritter breakfast

Staying at the Harrah's so popped in here for dinner with the family. Vibe was a little off. When our waiter came to take our drink order we ordered some mocktails for our kids that they had advertised on a small drink menu on the table but when we did so our waiter literally rolled his eyes. We found later, it was because he thought they didn't have the ingredients to make it, which they did end up having and they were delicious! Regardless it set a weird tone for the dinner. The food is what saved the day. Now I've read the other reviews and can't speak for their whole menu but the country fried beef fritter was delicious! I got the breakfast version with eggs, hash browns, biscuit and gravy and my wife got the dinner version with salad and veggies and we were truly satisfied. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs for our girls and they smashed it! All in all we enjoyed our meal just not necessarily our service.

Bowl of soup also 6.99....a little steep for the portion.

Went here on a Sunday evening...got sat immediately. Server got our waters and promptly took our order, I appreciated that. Hub ordered the Chicken Sandwich with just the pepper jack cheese and fries, I got a side salad and a bowl of the soup of the day; Tomato. We waited quite a bit of time before the food arrived, so we were happy to find when it got there that is did not die at the pass. It was so completely fresh and I thought a great portion size for someone who is not a big eater. I think the price was a little too high for the soup and salad...the salad was quite small, but it was fresh...the blue cheese dressing was missing that blue cheese kick...next time I will order ranch. Another downfall is it is exposed to the casino floor and some numbskull inside who just could not wait to light up a cigarette before paying his bill, went just outside the window area and lit up. The entire restaurant dang near turned around and looked at him...but he did not care...kept blowing smoke INTO the restaurant and refused to step even a few steps away....i know this is not the restaurant's fault..but it was freakin stupid!

Because of the limited options on site at Harrah's, this is the only restaurant open for breakfast, and the water taxi service doesn't start until 9AM, I was relegated to dining here each morning of my just concluded four night stay. Food was inconsistent, sometimes good and sometimes not so much. It seemed to depend upon how hung over the cook was. Service too was inconsistent. I had one competent, on it waitress out of my four visits. Otherwise, staff just seemed to be more interested in socializing in the back, which you can hear from the dining room, rather than attend to customers out front. There was no apparent management in site at all. The restaurant is left to run on its own with no one directing operations and seeing that standards are being maintained. Step up Harrah's! Who's running things? This reflects so poorly upon you!

Not terrible or awful, but bordering on being a nuisance in regards to time to table. That being said, the food quality was lacking. That is the issue. And it only matters because this restaurant is larping as a fine dining experience. I frequent vegas restaurants who pay more for overhead and location and their quality is far superior and similarly priced. The water tasted awful. Basically, If I could describe it, it tasted tainted by river. Like a swampy dirty smell with every sip. I basically stopped drinking any water during my whole dining experience there for this reason. Granted, it could have been my particular glass was dirty, or partially washed. It may just be that the water isn't filtered and it is tap. However after tasting my wife's, hers tasted similar albeit not as strong. The problem is, the tri-state area has the worst tap around. Everyone knows this. This wouldn't be a big deal if this was dennys. The problem is, like I said, this place is masquerading as a fine dining experience. It should be held to that standard. The minimum would be filtered water. So it's either a problem with the dish washer or the water itself is poor quality. Or they get the water from the casino bar which are notoriously bad quality in laughlin. Next we go to the meat itself. It may be that it was lacking because I went on their discount day, which I was unaware that it was, the special was a "prime" Rib for a good price if you get the package with the baked potato. Which is fine, but it may be on that day they use choice meat instead of prime to get a better margin for price and so they can sell more. That being said, I still ordered the full price prime rib, not the special. It still lacked in quality. Seemed very tough and full of connective tissue. Ordered medium rare. Alas it was Grisly. Which is indicative of lesser quality meat selection. Likely choice/select cuts, not true prime. I don't mind, but they are charging vegas quality restaurant prices but not in vegas. The quality needs to match. I don't understand the high reviews here because I gave this place 3 chances and this sadly was the third. I won't return ever again. You can get better quality if you just enjoy a drive to vegas. I thought it may have been a fluke but now I realize that is the norm there. There is some good but not worth a return. The asparagus and potatoes were cooked wonderfully. However, I don't go to a restaurant for their garnish dishes. I go for their proteins. We paid full price and I didn't bother to complain to the servers because it isn't their fault. I just won't come back.

So, I turned around and headed here, even though OpenTable reported that no time slots were available. I dropped Diane off before parking, and she easily scored a table here. In fact, hardly anyone was seated inside the restaurant, and it did not seem like a festive Mexican holiday at all. The Tuesday Night Menu was very limited, but I selected very tasty and smooth Stone Guacamole not prepared tableside but including tomatoes, White Onion, and jalapenos, to go with house-prepared salsa and spiced up Tortilla Chips. By request Diane received a complimentary basket of non-spicy Tortilla Chips, as well as a Kids Cheese Quesadilla. Somehow this filled her up. I, on the other hand, ordered a Southwest Beef Burrito with added beans inside, and Roja Sauce and Queso on top. The burro was large, but I finished it, along with more beans, and included rice. Everything tasted good and washed down well with Diet Pepsi. Service by Brett was very good, and at least the decor of the restaurant had the festive feel of Old Mexico, in this instance without the camaraderie of fellow celebrants.

Coyote Cafe is definitely a LOCALS favorite and certainly didn't disappoint us. The Waffle was so so good. Breakfast potatoes and their hash browns were "Amazing" Portions are healthy in size and delicious. In our group we had, Breakfast burrito , Waffle, Bacon and cheese omelette. The bread that is brought in for the toast and sandwiches is thick and really really GOOD! Get the Sourdough or white bread with your meal. We wanted to buy a loaf to take home, because it was so good. Not a bad thing to say about anything at Coyote Cafe. Customer service was ON POINT and so very friendly. Wish we had more photos. Didn't even take a photo of our food before we devoured it.

Giving a three star rating only because of the ladies who were working there were great, otherwise…read moreit would be a 1 star rating. I ordered the ground beef patty, over medium eggs and hash browns. Fb patty was cooked right but flavorless and my over medium eggs were cooked over well. Yolks were fully cooked. I love my yolk runny. Husband ordered the sirloin steak medium, as soon as he cut a slice off he noticed a foul smell, I smelled it also (spoiled meat) and it was bad. Plus it was cooked well done. Upon further inspection of the "sirloin steak" we noticed it's actually a ground "sirloin" steak. Looked like my ground beef patty. Luckily hubby never ate a bite of the spoiled ground meat. Thankfully the nice lady there took the bad meal off our bill and apologized. But it's really sad that the servers have to keep apologizing to the customers for the bad food and false advertising of a sirloin steak when it should be the owner taking responsibility for his negligence amongst other things I won't get into. It looked like the cashiers had to apologize to two other customers before us too. NOTE TO OWNER: If you going to serve ground meat than specify on your menu "Ground Sirloin Steak". And make sure it's not going bad. People get sick eating rotten meat.
