Prices are good, variety in great food and daily specials and service with a smile! The country fried steak is AWESOME, my brother loves the Rueben and we all love the coffee! If you want to enjoy good old fashioned breakfast-lunch to dinner, in a pleasant family restaurant, you can't go wrong with Shannon's!

That said, nothing here blows me away taste, or service-wise. I've never had a bad meal or service issue here either. I considered a demerit this time around for the current prices, but frankly it's the same way everywhere, esp for bfast. The biggest downside is probly the ambiance, which is more on the noisy side based on it being a pretty large place these days and still pretty popular. I can't comment on lunch or dinner because we've never tried it, but the place prized brunch spot mostly by folks middle-aged and up (with more families/kids on the weekends) for its all-around consistency.

We had a reservation so we were seated promptly at a large table in its own little alcove in the back. While the place was busy, we could chat comfortably with one another and felt adequately separate from other tables. The menu has a bit of everything, so everyone should be able to find something they like on it. We started with cocktails, mozzarella sticks, and pretzel bites. The cocktails were good but I could've used less sweetness in mine. The mozzarella sticks and pretzels bites were standard, which means they were great as usual. For a group of 5 of us, an order of each was enough to hold us over until the main meal. I personally got the fish sandwich for my dinner with fries. The fish was great and large enough that it hung over the sides of the bun. My only complaint about the sandwich was the lack of tartar sauce on it. The cook must have just added the smallest dash, as the only sign it was there was a little spot of discoloration on the bun. The fish was good but the sandwich would have been better with more moisture from that tartar. The fries it came with were standard shoe string fries. Nothing special but hit the spot all the same. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their meals as well and we left comfortably full with no leftovers. Overall the meal came at a good pace, the atmosphere was nice, and the prices were reasonably. If in town again we would come back here.

We went to Bonchon for lunch today and I got the 2 spicy chicken taco lunch special for $9.99 and my friend got the fried (not spicy) chicken taco special and both were great! Chunks of tender chicken, coleslaw with buttermilk ranch and spicy mayo. I added a side of the Korean Cucumber Salad with onion and red pepper flakes. Sliced, crisp cucumber with just a tiny heat. Delicious! They also have a full dinner menu and full bar with interesting drink specials. Love the Korean Chicken, Shrimp and Beef Specialties! Lots of Vegetarian options too. Our server, Jill was super friendly. Helpful and attentive. Atmosphere is casual and the modern dining room is large enough for big groups and cozy enough for two! If you are tired of fast food and chains, give Bonchon a try, you will probably see me there as I will be back here soon! Kate the Artist

Certainly will be back during my brief visit. I wish there was a 4.5 as the food was good. My only down side is the boneless were cooked a tad bit harder than I prefer, but did not take away from the flavor.
