Went here with my family (forgot to take pictures!). For the most part, it's pretty solid for what it is. Great BBQ spot for Northern Indiana. Doesn't try to be something it's not. Family-run, super kind staff, and home-grown vibes. It isn't comparable to Texas or KC barbecue, but again, you have to take it for what it is. I'd definitely return! Wow... just wow! My husband and I have been looking for a decent BBQ resturant near us for.... well.... a hot minute.. Let me just say... I believe we have found one. One that will deserve our repete business. My husband ordered the 3 meat and got the chicken, pulled pork and ribs. Ribs were fall off the bone, pulled pork was juicy AND NOT FATTY, and the chicken was juicy and not dry. My husband liked the house BBQ. The green beans were phenomenal, the type that need to go with Bbq, and a baked potato which my gusband said felt like a pound tater and the best. He got his tater loaded... and he said later that he wished he would have put some of his pulled pork on top of his potato! He had more than enough for left overs and is eating that this morning while Im writing this.. he says that he didnt even warm up his left overs and it was just as good cold as it as while it was warm! Our friend we had with us got the pulled pork sandwich and he devoured his food! He did try the spicy BBQ and he said it was lovely with a nice slow warmth coming from the back. The best bbq he has had in a while too. Me.. I'm always a scaredy cat when it comes to food. I tend to stick to my normals and don't stray much.. Last night was no exception. I ordered the sharable nachos with pulled pork. Fantastic. I didn't have a drop of fat in my pulled pork which I personally have issues with, which made me extremely happy! The only complaint that I have is I wish with nachos that places would love the bottom layer of chips as well. I hate getting almost done with my nachos and I have a host of dry nachos at the bottom. No queso no pork... They are sad. They should feel love too! The space is laid out nicely and the atmosphere top notch. Waitress were much friendlier than several other resturants. There is a small incline in the floor as you go further back to the rear of the resturant towards the restrooms. The entire place is handicap accessible. Which gets extra bonus points in my opinion! As we are always on the lookout for places to bring our elderly parents who are in chairs. Tables are excellent for wheelchair users and persons of size (like myself). I will say that the booths were 'movable' and I had plenty of room as a big girl! The restrooms were very clean and large. We were so blown away by the food quality and quantity and taste WE FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES!!!!!!!!!! That's saying something!! read more

First off.. The actual restaurant building. It's pretty awesome. The inside of the restaurant (which used to be a comic book store) is so cool and well done! The food was awesome as well! Both myself and my buddy got the 1 meat + 2 sides option and we both went with brisket. The brisket was tasty and tender. The BBQ sauces were also delicious as I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy BBQ sauce. The sides were on point as well! My jalapeño Mac and Cheese was awesome and my buddy's corn was so good. He wouldn't stop raving about it! The owner was working the front of the house and took good care of us. We ordered up at the bar and then someone brought us our food within 5 minutes of sitting. The owner was amazing as she invited us to the back area to show off her artwork as my friend is an artist as well. She even took us in the restrooms to check out the cool murals! Such a cool place! She plans to have BBQ and Painting Classes in the near future which sounds pretty cool. One day, I'd love to open up my own BBQ joint here in my town and this place would be a great place to "copy" and learn some lessons from! So good! Check it out! read more

This place is what Columbia City needed. A good BBQ restaurant. Amazing BBQ, great customer service and the food portions are ginormous.
