When the young man came, he said it was $90 plus a service fee of $80. I said that was not the price quoted to me. He said it was the best he could do. When I told him I had someone else that said they could do it for $100 and I would just go with other person, he said he would do it for $120. I said okay, then he drilled and hammered away at the lock with no success, breaking several drill bits. After a half hour, he said he needed another tool, and he would be back in an hour. An hour and a half later he showed back up with a saw. He still had to borrow a wrench from U-Haul staff just to put saw together. He finally got it done, but what should have been a job that took less than 30 minutes, took several hours of my day. Clearly, he had no experience in cutting off a U-Haul lock. Great lock though if you want to prevent theft from the novice criminal

Today I found myself in a situation that required me to help a family member who was in need of a locksmith. Since my brother lives in California and I in Washington I turned to Google. I typed in locksmith in Oakdale, CA and was directed to the Yellow Pages. The first place I called (top of the list) could not fit us in. The second, The Lock Doctors, answered super fast and friendly. I explained my situation and was immediately quoted an estimated price (turned out to be exact) and was told the tech should be there in an hour. The tech arrived on time, rekeyed 5 locks, I phoned in my credit card and was promptly email a receipt. Super AWESOME service!! Aight check this out last night I diped out the house to get my smoke on not realizing my door automatically locks itself cause its a new place and shit good thing my baby was asleep at the time good thing I had my phone in my pocket at the time but I didnt want to call the wife at work cause she she'd chew my ass out over this so I jumed on yelp to look at locksmiths first to pop up was lockdocs and a mr ike came all the way out to me about a half hour away from him self to get me into my house at 3:00 o'clock in the morning verry professional man knows how to keep customers happy for sure thanks mr mike saved me from the wifes bitching I know who to call for future dumb ass moves like this again thanks mr mike read more

I locked my keys in my car while grocery shopping with my severely handicapped son who is 6 ft tall and 15 years old. after shopping he immediately wanted to go home and watch me cook everything so he could eat everything. Since i locked my keys in the car he was flipping out. Lock Doctors got to me 20 minutes after i called and got me into my car within minutes. Lock Doctors even helped calm my son down by being playful while unlocking my car. if you are a mother then you understand that i was freaking out, and they helped me out so fast. i will only go threw there company for any locksmith needs, and I highly recommend any and all people use them. What can i say these guys that help people out are one of the best lock smith guys iv been to. There honest hard working men. Shit, Michael best locksmith out here, I believe competitors trying to hurt his reputation because he was solid, super nice on phone and James did a great job rekeying my house. 20 service fee 20 a lock and it's exactly what I was charged. Wife locked her keys in the car (older Honda Pilot) - I called Lock Doctors in a panic after realizing her keys were sitting right on the driver's seat in plain view. Michael showed up and was professional, friendly, and--most importantly--super fast. He had my door open in no time and without a single scratch on the car. James is the man! We locked the key in the trunk of my Mercedes E350. Everything shut down in alarm mode. James was able to get into the car but we couldn't get into the trunk. Trunk switch disabled with the alarm!!! James didn't give up...he kept going and found some magical release switch after 30 minutes! What!!! I already started looking for a Mercedes dealership! James came over changed 5 locks real fast, and even offer a discount to write a good or bad review. He even offered to come back the next day and change all the locks, so they all use the same key + provide numerous copies of that key for FREE! How awesome! Not Service Pro - they called multiple times to let us know the arrival time, showed up early, were not intimidated by the job, even went to the store to buy more lock sets to coordinate with the current ones. They didn't change locks that didn't need to be, so saved us money. When the whole job was finished, we went from 6 different keys (for an elderly person to keep track of!) to ONE key for a totally reasonable prixe.
