The entrées are not your ordinary traditional steak, chicken, and fish dinners. if you enjoy unique dishes and imaginative culinary delights, this is your place. The service was delightful. The attentive and cheerful staff made the meal quite enjoyable. We learned about every detail of the ingredients including mint and blueberries grown in their backyard. Don't wait as long as I did. Buckle up, it's a long one. I think we're done here for a while. The food is usually good but the…read moreservice was SO horrible this time. I feel bad because the waiter was nice enough, but honestly, this was ridiculous and unacceptable. We did arrive closer to the end of the night (7:30, and they close at 9). BUT, we've been here many times before, and the service has never been this bad, especially considering there were almost no other customers. The other tables cleared out shortly after we arrived. It was just us, and one other table that came in after we did. We sat there and watched their food came out, then they were finishing up, ready to leave, but there we sat - with nothing. They had two different employees checking on them the entire time (they were only a party of 3 and we were 2). We didn't see our waiter. We ordered apps and entrees, and already finished our salads. We were just sitting there wondering what was going on. After we FINALLY got our entrees, the waiter drops the appetizers on the table and repeats that he "doesn't know what happened in the kitchen." We honestly didn't want the apps anymore. For whatever reason, I didn't want to say anything and I told my husband not to say anything either. He wanted to refuse the apps rather than take them home because we weren't able to have a proper dining experience and nothing is the same leftover. I guess he had a point. The waiter disappeared again after bringing the food. My husband did end up complaining when he finally came back around. We were offered dessert, which we declined. Was that going to take another 30 minutes while he disappeared again? No thanks. We were clearly irritated and wanted to leave so we asked for the bill (which also took some time). I don't know what had us sitting there for almost two hours, because it was about 9:00 (closing time) by the time our food was finally brought out. We were the only customers after a certain point. All of the employees were hanging out around the bar. I'm sure they were tapping their feet waiting for us to leave, but they certainly weren't doing anything to get us our food, and get us out. I'm not even sure why we waited that long. We should've just called it, paid for our drinks, and left.

Poor service high prices. Great selection…read more Consumers always has great selection but as a customer i dont want to be talked down to and belittled. I was out shopping with my kid sister and stopped to buy a case a beer. I was talked down to because of a rule stating all members of a party need to show id. Rules are rules if i would have known i would not have gone in with her. But to talk down to me and make me feel like crap walking out left a really bad taste. I wont be shopping here again. I do not want to support staff that treats customers like a moron for not knowing the ins and outs. Im fine with gas station beer that is cheaper and closer to home. At least the gas station clerk doesnt make me feel stupid for bringing my family along shopping.

I wish they had more to choose from for this section and that it rotated to new beers frequently. I like trying new beers especially sours, stouts, porters and ciders so I usually go to craft beee shops for those. This is close to me so I go here sometimes. There are some of the rarer and newer beers available for like $5/$6 a can/bottle. Some are a little more. I am part of the growler club so you earn points when you fill your growler. You can use your own growler or purchase one there for cheap. There are 10 taps of craft beer and they always rotate. You can check the website to see what they have on tap. They let you taste them if you want as well. Some are more expensive than others. Some are cheap if it's been there a bit. They are usually $3.99-$14.99 for 32oz growler fill. I like the bright TVs that show the beers on tap with information about them. They also have a large selection of non alcoholic beverages like pop, juice, etc. They always have sales and those are in the flyer that comes in the mail. They also have snacks here. There is a bottle return area as well. The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly and efficient.

"When She Says Sushi, It's Game On!"…read more Finding a great date night spot can be challenging, but Steak Stone & Sushi delivered a wonderful evening from start to finish. I brought a longtime family friend here for dinner, and to my surprise she suggested sushi. Well, when a lady says sushi, it's game on! The atmosphere was relaxing, comfortable, and perfect for catching up over good food and conversation. She ordered the drink special, which I believe was a Cherry Chocolate Martini, and it looked every bit as good as she said it tasted. We started with the Coconut Shrimp, and that turned out to be an excellent choice. Light, crispy, and full of flavor. Before we shared sushi rolls, I had to order the Flying Red Fish. I was hoping to find Ikura on the menu, but this was the next best thing and it definitely satisfied my craving. For our rolls, we shared the Rock N Roll, which was absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, great presentation, and the kind of sushi that keeps you reaching for another piece even when you're already full. What made the evening special wasn't just the food--it was the opportunity to reconnect with a good friend over a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a date night destination, a place to celebrate, or simply somewhere to enjoy good sushi and conversation, Steak Stone & Sushi is well worth a visit. I'd happily do this one all over again.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The hibachi was not very good. I wish they had more than Sriracha for a hot sauce. The hibachi chicken was also very sweet. Overall, we both definitely would not do the hibachi again, even if it were priced cheaper. Overall, all menu items were priced much higher, but this is common amongst restaurants nowadays and in this economy. Would we come back? If we were really craving the experience of cooking a steak on one of their stones. The prices are high enough to where we are now considering going here as we are paying a rather high amount to cook our own steak.
