Walking into the the locker room you think hmmmm shot and beer type of place, old hole in the wall type of bar. What you wouldn't expect is the quality of food. Really it is shocking! I had Spivey garlic wings, cooked to perfection, they were larger than expected, crispy, flavorful, and mixed with chucks of minced garlic. Sauce was liberally applied to each wing and it was outstanding. I ordered it with a side of French fries and wow, best fries I have had in a really long time I had to ask what the secrete was.......fresh cut!!! It was well worth the price of 10 dollars for everything, Quality service, quality food, respectable price!

If you're looking for a dive bar or a hole in the wall I would recommend checking this place out. The bar has its regulars who are welcoming and the management is nice. I started with a half dozen, bone in, hot garlic, chicken wings and asked for blue cheese and celery. The wings were fried to a crispy consistency and were loaded with the hot garlic sauce and topped with pieces of diced garlic. I'm a big fan of crispy chicken wings and a lot of sauce, so the wings were right up my alley. After the chicken wings came the jalapeño cheese burger which was the special of the day. The burger had good flavor and the ratio between the bun and the burger were near perfect. The burger came with fresh, real, fries. The food and drinks are cheap and the environment is very laid back. Came here during lunch with a medium sized group and we didn't wait too long to get our food. I didn't expect much but this is a good reason to never judge a book by its covers.

Great food for a dive bar. People are always friendly. The wings are outstanding with six pepper being one of our favorites.

The fries are all made fresh in the back, their new pizzas with the thin crust are great, the wings are crispy and big, and the burgers are excellent.

Quintaesencia was great to work with in June 2026 at accommodating our large group of 21 women, providing is with ample space, a dedicated server, and even making separate checks for all of us. To the surprise of no one, I love South American food. Okay, I like most ethnic cuisines, if not all, but I really love foods like arepas, chimmichuri steak, asado, empanadas, etc! I looked at the menu ahead of time and settled on some faves of mine, arepas and yucca fries, but others in the group ordered a variety of dishes amd drinks, all of which were delicious! I stuck with water as my beverage because the cocktails/mocktails were a bit too pricey for me. I ordered the trio arepas ($18) and a side order of yucca fries ($5), which were very filling and sprinkled with cheese. I liked my meal a lot although I would like to see a few more types of arepas offered on the menu. Our server, Valeria, was absolutely amazing and served our party of 21 women quickly and efficiently. There was a 3% card usage fee as well as an automatic 20% gratiuiy for parties of 6 or more, so after paying with card, my total bill was $30.54. I left full and happy and hope to come back again to try their other dishes, particularly their pizzas and a creative cocktail or two.

Last night for the Draft, they had a nice crowd at the tables, but hardly anyone at the bar. Hopped up on a tall bar chair and nearly fell off as a wooden support piece was dangling from the bottom. Switched chairs and, while I didn't fall off, I could rock back and forth on it..weak wood again. Then the LOL kicks in. Two people behind the bar. For the next two hours, we were not spoken to. Every single thing we ordered, we had to get their attention. The male was particularly hilarious as he never even made eye contact with us as we were begging for service. The food? Less than meh. Very Gordon Food Service in taste and presentation. The bill for four domestic beers, one sandwich and one small pizza (a Thursday special low price) was 54 bucks before tip! It's a mystery to me why there are so many cars in the parking lot every time I come. I know the atmosphere is good for kids (loud and big inside). But the Winking Lizard does everything this place does for less cost and 100 percent more quality. LOL!

Food was great, ordered a selection of apps for the table to share as well as a Panini, bacon smash burger and the chicken alla vodka. The apps we got were the house salad, mozzarella sticks, the soft pretzels, and chicken tenders. The chicken alla vodka was SO good, the sauce was not too acidic and tasted fresh plus the chicken cutlet on the pasta was crispy but definitely still full of flavor and not dry at all. Their chicken tenders with honey mustard are always a staple, definitely a fan favorite. The staff were super friendly, frequently checking in and asking if we needed any help. They were on top of dishes and even kindly helped us remedy an ordering error. The manager was great, making conversation while we got up to place our order and grab our drinks. Plus, on a Tuesday evening there was a selection of tables to choose from and the patio doors were open which offered great airflow. Overall, a wonderful dinner experience and would 100% come again!!

They asked if we would be having separate tabs or all together and I let them know that the kids would not be drinking as well as I wouldn't and it would be all together. They then stated seat yourself, allowed us to pick the table, brought us menus... and no other instructions. Unsure of how to order or what to do we finally got up and asked the single gentleman who was walking the dining room and looking friendly. We finally figured out how to order (you walk up and order). We got a Stromboli, perogies, mozzarella sticks, garlic knots, and a burger. Everything came out not at a time within about 15 mins except the burger took an additional 10 with no communication on things. A girl (Jillian) came by when we were nearly done and had a couple plates stacked and asked if we needed anything, I said boxes in a bit but the plates could be taken. She glared with a look of "you want ME to take this" and then took them. Overall not very welcoming except for the long gentleman helping everyone. The 5 girls at the host stand didn't seem to care about anyone except their selves. It wasn't too busy when we got here and not loud. As someone who has worked in restaurants with bars you could see the frustration on guests trying to pour beer (self serve) with no clue how and very little assistance offered. Lots of foamy drinks. Would also be great to not have a whole onion with the perogies

The booth I sat in was ran down, you shouldn't sink into the booths when you find that perfect "@ss spot" being used for over 5 years. (Pet peeve of mines, this is why I hate booths). The menu is sort of all over the place with no cohesiveness. The price points for the quality and quantity is off for me, way off. I wanted the wedge salad but was told they have no ranch... "how don't you have ranch" I ordered the chicken piccata, it was nothing to write home about. Strike two when the waiter asked did I "need any salt and pepper, hot sauce". (Eyebrow raise, hot sauce!?!?) They warmed the frozen chicken breast up nice. The sauce was good but a burnt flavor lingered. Not sure if it was the sauce or the burnt vegetables. The mashed potatoes were congealed and flavorless. After I found a dime sized black flat ball of something in the mashed potatoes I had enough. I looked at all the beautiful dishes on yelp before I came here. ***WARNING*** if you don't see good pics and reviews within 10 months or so old, DONT DO IT!
