    Fish Fry

Our fav neighborhood bar because of the amazing staff and management. Will never say a bad thing about how well they take care of us and make us feel right at home. Fish fry and Italian sausage sandwich were ok but portion wise things were definitely smaller / lacking than what we were used to. The entire sausage sandwich had one small sausage link split in half across a massive ciabatta bun so it was all bread and no meat. Fish was just a tiny piece with lots of batter and "fry" but the tartar sauce was to die for. Luckily we got French fries on the side (which are always amazing) and I got to dip those in the remaining tartar sauce because I'm not kidding you I could drink it (LOL). Will always come back no matter what!

Stopped by a few times over Christmas week and was pleased to see consistent quality in food and cocktails. Vibrant atmosphere with an excellent service team. Jess and her team always go out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Great vibe to this place. We only went here for a couple of rounds. My friend suggested that it's a good place to end the night, he was right. Drinks are reasonably priced, good friendly service. Only critique I have is that my drink was a bit on the sweeter side. But I had 2, so it wasn't that bad. See you there!

Came here on a Tuesday around 9:30PM. Similar to a previous review I saw, I felt a little unwelcome as it was our first time and clearly not a 'regular'. Unsure if we were to wait and be seated, or someone would greet us. After a few minutes, we decided to just sit down at one of the long pub tables. It took about 5 minutes for someone to come by with menus. We were given both food and drink menus, so we assumed the kitchen was still open. The server didn't come back for about 15 minutes, even though we had decided just a couple minutes after getting menus and tried to make eye contact. We ordered a couple drinks, and the steak tacos. The server then asked me to look at my phone and tell her what time it was. I felt a little uncomfortable as it was clearly a way to tell us we were ordering food too close to the kitchen closing. If the kitchen was open until 10PM and we were given food menus to begin with, why would we be met with such passive aggressiveness? She even said "I'll have to check if the cook is still willing to make food". She came back to let us know it was "fine". When we got the steak tacos, it was literally just steak and shredded cheese, despite the menu stating it had a couple other accompaniments. When I asked the server, she seemed a bit annoyed, so I said it was fine. She said "No no, I'll go see". She was clearly not knowledgeable as to what came on the tacos. She came back to say "it IS supposed to come with queso, but they ran out". I was a bit taken back, as why no one would say anything before/after ordering, or offer an alternate sauce. Luckily, she did offer to take the tacos off of our bill, but it was still disappointing as had we known the experience, we would have went elsewhere for food. The drink that I got (Pink Lotus) was good, and looked pretty, but after drinking most of it, I found a sharp piece of plastic floating in it. This was pretty concerning, but just wanting to close out and leave, I decided not to say anything. When closing out, the server dropped the check and thanked us, but didn't even make eye contact so it felt very insincere. The place has a great ambience, but the service and food/drink leaves a lot to be desired. I do not think based on this experience, I would return.

Food was all very good. Wine was good! A little pricey on the drinks but the atmosphere is really hip and fun so I guess you pay for the environment a little. Service was nice but slow at moment. Would recommend to a friend and plan to go back again sometime.

It's an energetic and fun restaurant with good food and drinks. We tried several drinks and my favorite was the espresso martini. As for the food, the focaccia and hot crock were delicious. The roasted squash gnocchi, meatballs with pappardelle, and scallops were all good. Our server was friendly and efficient, even though we couldn't always hear her over the noise of the crowded room.

Fantastic place! Got seated in a corner table by the front doors, so it was pretty drafty. It was super crowded, so the noise levels were quite loud which made conversation difficult. Had the Brussels sprouts along with the pommes frites which were delicious! Beer selection was also great. Highly recommend this place

    Any vegan options?

As far as the main ingredients go, you can have a few items made vegan. I’m not sure about the cooking process in the back. As far as I’m aware there aren’t any Vegan-specific menu items :)

So after wasting time waiting on any semblance of service, we missed this deadline by two minutes and got nothing. Live in the area and I wont ever be back. I enjoy frequenting small businesses but this is the kind of place that chases customers to the chains because of their arrogance. First and last time Ill go there. In todays competitive environment to get consumer dollars, my advice would be to take the $40 I was willing to spend on 2 hot dogs and two drinks.

Cocktails were decent but their prices were proud; I would say the same for their small plate items. We were visiting from Dallas and paying $18 for a cocktail is a starting point there. Paying $18 in the back of a mercantile store with mediocre service, though the space was nice, was a stretch.

The booth I sat in was ran down, you shouldn't sink into the booths when you find that perfect "@ss spot" being used for over 5 years. (Pet peeve of mines, this is why I hate booths). The menu is sort of all over the place with no cohesiveness. The price points for the quality and quantity is off for me, way off. I wanted the wedge salad but was told they have no ranch... "how don't you have ranch" I ordered the chicken piccata, it was nothing to write home about. Strike two when the waiter asked did I "need any salt and pepper, hot sauce". (Eyebrow raise, hot sauce!?!?) They warmed the frozen chicken breast up nice. The sauce was good but a burnt flavor lingered. Not sure if it was the sauce or the burnt vegetables. The mashed potatoes were congealed and flavorless. After I found a dime sized black flat ball of something in the mashed potatoes I had enough. I looked at all the beautiful dishes on yelp before I came here. ***WARNING*** if you don't see good pics and reviews within 10 months or so old, DONT DO IT! We were seated quickly and I was looking forward to a good meal, but alas, that was not to be. After taking our drink order the server told us that there would be: A 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill (fine, it's to be expected), and there would be a 3% surcharge if you paid with anything other than cash (ugh) and oh yeah, they won't split the check. We should just pick somebody to pay the whole check and we could "just Venmo them" (and I guess, figure out a way to also split the 3% surcharge). Can't get around the surcharge as no one I know walks around with hundreds of dollars in their wallet, of course. None of this information is mentioned on their website or their socials or Open Table. It made for an ugly and embarrassing surprise,to say the least. Anyway, we all were shocked by that last item so we told the server we'd pay for our drinks but we were leaving. I'm a big supporter of independent restaurants but this ridiculous policy is incredibly alienating. So, birthday dinner plans ruined we made do with a local chain around the corner. Food was so so but at least they were pleasant, professional and accommodating for our large party. We tipped accordingly.
