The whiskey glaze was so light on the salmon for the perfect touch of sweetness, not like those heavy syrupy glazes at some restaurants. In town for 1 night and found this place on yelp. So glad and definitely will return if in the area. We shared the crab and shrimp bisque which was beyond delicious. We also shared the crab cake sandwich which I very much enjoyed. It was messy or all falling apart like many have. Plus several things on the menu that looked interesting. We had a very sweet and upbeat waitress, the view of the creek on their deck was super cute, and the food was awesome! This place is tucked away in a little shopping center and I never had any idea that it was here. We ordered the: - Creekside Sampler - Short Rib Ragu - Stroughton Strip Steak - Creekside Torte - Strawberry Cassata The Creekside sampler was a great way to try a different types of their apps! Their meat skewers were amazing!! The strip steak was also a great choice! Cooked to perfection, with sides of crunchy green beans and sliced crispy potatoes. Lastly, we finished off with dessert the Creekside torte was a great ending to our dinner! It was light and airy, and not too heavy. I would definitely come back for this piece of cake again!! The service was not great. The host was very nice. Our server was not great. It was as if she was preoccupied. She took out drink order and before we could even finish she left the table. There were four of us and only three got to order. When she came back with the three drinks then the fourth person ordered. We said we wanted to order appetizers and she left without taking the order. She then came back with the fourth drink and asked if we were ready. We said yes and she walked away and said she'd give us more time. She came back again and we stopped her and said we wanted to order appetizers. She took the order and we said no we wanted to order dinner too. So she took that order. It was very odd. For appetizers we got the spinach artichoke dip. It was good but you get twice as many chips to dip ratio. The potato skins were terrible. There was a pile of melted cheese in the middle of the plate that didn't even cover all the potatoes and hardly any bacon or green onions. The person who brought our food out was very abrupt and quickly placed the food down. For dinner I had the burger and fries. Burger was very good the fries are frozen potatoes with a coating to make them crispy. They were ok. We had the goat cheese salmon and pasta. Salmon was very good. The pasta was average. We also had the whisky salmon with rice and green beans. The salmon was very good the rice was gummy and the beans were very bland. We also had the pot roast on mashed potatoes. It was ok. It was very soupy and not a lot of meat more gravy than anything. We took dessert home. Casada cake and cannolis. Both were good. The ambiance is very nice. We were seated by the window which was cold but it was cold outside. It's a very nice restaurant with a nice fully bar. Tonight just wasn't a great meal. Food and service are usually better. We had a late dinner so I don't know if that mattered. They weren't busy but had been earlier so maybe they were just over it. read more

NB: 3-5/5 stars is a a respectable score. Most people inflate their reviews, I do not. That said, this is a sold 3 star place. I was there with a friend of mine who raved about it. The Good: The location and views are marvelous. Reminds me of Chagrin Falls. Big beautiful windows overlooking a small valley with lots of green foliage. Just a great view that sets a great mood for a dining venue. They have a very big, diverse "Cheesecake-Factoryesque menu. Lots of good stuff, great menu, but a bit suspect. No one restaurant can do all that extraordinarily well. We started with the Italian Wedding Soup which was credible. They loaded it with lots of meatballs. There wasn't much else in it. I didn't see a whole lot of carrots or celery, acini, or spinach. It had an ok taste to it. I had the shrimp and lobster linquini which was ok. I liked it, really. but it was just "ok". They did give you a lot of of shrimp. The lobster as far as I could tell, was either canned or something else entirely. When I received it, it looked dried on the top, which meant as soon as I ordered it, it was already prepared and just sat under a heat lamp for a while. It had taste, and it was ok.... My friend had a salmon salad. There was a huge chunk of salmon on there, I'll say that. But I couldn verify how it tasted. I had a chocolate cake for dessert. It was clearly purchased frozen from a vendor. There was barely any taste to it. It was one of those desserts that looks amazing in the case and has zero taste. Great venue, ok food. As a local, Creekside is a great spot to enjoy lunch/dinner especially with the gorgeous view when sitting outside. However, this time I went the quality was definitely a little lackluster. Our server was good, no complaints. I ordered the Caesar Supreme salad and had high hopes, but was sadly disappointed when half of my lettuce was brown and soggy. If I would've seen that lettuce making my own salad I would have thrown it away, but it was under the chicken and so I couldn't really tell until I was about halfway through my salad :( The chicken on it was good though and tasted fresh. Our group of 6 plus high chair had an overall great experience at Creekside for dinner. We made a reservation and had a comfy booth in the corner. This was good bc my 2 yo niece is loud. My brother in law picked this place out weeks ago- he really wanted the Venetian Scallops and pasta as he was preparing to run the CLE marathon the next day. The rest of us really liked our food, sadly, he was the only one disappointed. * Venetian Scallops- the scallops themselves were hot, fresh, tasty, and well-prepared. The pasta (per my BIL) tasted like leftover Olive Garden reheated with gloppy sauce. * Shrimp Scampi- I loved my meal. Plump, tender shrimp with a delicious pasta and light garlic lemon sauce. Mwah! Great portion, I'll be eating my leftovers for lunch. * Chicken Parmesan- husband devoured his. Chicken parm. He loved the prosciutto. * Great Lakes Perch- two people ordered this and they both enjoyed it. Had a short 5-10 minute wait at 6pm on a Saturday-- we took first available, which was inside... next time, I'd request the patio! Interior is a tad dated, and a little more casual than I anticipated, but fine atmosphere nonetheless! My husband had the lake perch dinner and I enjoyed the gluten free honey pecan chicken! Went to Creekside last night for dinner. Got the perch dinner. The fish was overcooked and tough. Not sure how you make fish tough. The baked potato was cooked in a microwave. It did not taste good. In addition to a terrible meal, it took the waitress ten minutes to take our drink order and 25 minutes to come back for the food order. The food came out in 15 minutes. Its located in a mini mall so there's a parking lot. If you're making a reservation make sure you ask for a table by window if you wanted to enjoy the pretty view outside: we went at night and was unable to see anything - however the restaurant was spacious, clean, and well decorated. Service was lacking - we were a party of 5 and they only gave us 3 pieces of bread....we had to ask a busboy to get our server as she was no where to be found after having waited. I got the blackberry mule which was OK but a bit on the watery side and I didn't taste a hint of blackberry. We got the ribeye with fries and Mac n cheese (some of my kids liked it while some did not). We got the sampler where we got to choose 3 - lobster quesadillas (I loved them but none of my kids liked them), potato skins (very dry and cold), beef satay (wish it was hotter in temperature). The whiskey glazed salmon with wild rice and broccoli ( was cook horribly and seasoned very bad). Small pizza - half cheese and half supreme it's a very flat pizza and some parts were overcooked. All of my food came out cold - which was unfortunate as maybe some of the items would have tasted better if they came out hotter. read more

Have had dinners and breakfast here. Generally disappointed. There dishes try to elevate to fine dining status but ends up failing miserably. Their chicken parm for instance was quite overcooked and dry--doctored up with some bits of ham that added nothing. ...Paired with utterly forgettable rigatoni. They must use the same chicken for chicken and waffles at breakfast because it was likewise dry and overcooked--like leftovers you are loathe to finish. The price is slightly higher than most and inexplicably, there is often a wait to get a table. I suspect others stick to pizza and burgers. read more

Two walls are windows lined with booths. Tables are around. Service was spot on. We enjoyed the appetizer sampler, which was plenty for six people. We all got salads. The strawberry salad full of goodies like several lettuces, sugared nuts, etc., was delicious. The guys said their sandwiches were good, too. Perch sandwich that wasn't: The word, "uneatable" best describes the sandwich I ordered a few months ago. Server seemed to agree and quickly agreed to refund, or replace the sandwich. With what? Another one just like it. I refused the refund The cheese on it was from a squeeze container in a zig-zag fashion which meant there was very little cheese at all. I don't even think it came with any tarter sauce. Worst of all, it wasn't perch, but perhaps walleye. Took it home and wife instantly noted it wasn't perch because the piece was too long to be perch. Called a manager a couple days later and from my description of the fish, he tended to agree it wasn't likely perch. He said it was likely to be a one-off mistake. But even if so, one would have to feel starved to eat such an unappetizing looking sandwich. I must say he was totally polite, and offered a refund, which I wouldn't accept at the restaurant, and still wouldn't. He also sent a gift card, which I gave away. Wonderful experience tonight at Creekside. We chose a high top table in the bar and were lucky enough to get Jack the bartender as our waiter. His genuine welcome to us an first timers set the tone. He gave a full review of menu, his recommendations, and talked us through the regulars' favorites. Spinach dip was delicious. Served hot with pita chips. Fresh baked bread was great. Very good side salad. Homemade dressing was very good. My daughter loved her pizza. My wife had the salmon which was fresh, tasty, and a nice portion. The London burger was great. Great flavor and cooked perfectly. Good sauce. Get the potato pancakes as a side - they were awesome. We enjoyed the brownie sundae. Both dining room and bar seating. Yum! One of our favorite places. Atmosphere / Ambiance is great (no TV's , except in the bar. This is always a plus to me). It's not a "fru fru" place - meaning the portions aren't skimpy and plated to make it look like more by decorating the plate with garnishes to fill out the plate. A great varied menu - something for everyone. This is a restaurant to go to for special occasions but also extremely casual. The server was professional and friendly, always there when we needed her. I had the Louisiana Salad with blackened shrimp and scallops - it was wonderful!
