    Royal Ribeye

My friend and I came by the other night for happy hour and dinner. They had a solid selection of cocktails, and offered a few appetizers at happy hour price. I ordered a cranberry mule, and then for my meal, I ordered the ribeye. The steak comes with a brown sugar glaze like sauce and caramelized onions, and two sides. I chose mashed potatoes and fresh green beans, which were delightful. The sauce on the steak was very sweet, and I had to scrape most of it off, which wasn't a big deal, but otherwise the meal was delicious.

Stopped for lunch by myself. Nice environment inside and even offered heated outdoor seating. Service was good. Shrimp tacos were great. Maybe a little too much sauce but they were good and messy. House made chips also a hit. Ice tea was also very good flavor. I'd come back.

Ta da!!! Lovely way to dine and enjoy an incredible meal! We brought our babe with us and she enjoyed every bite that draped her tongue. Well worth every trip and always awesome to see Jack! No matter the day, the food and the service are spot on point!!!

    Creekside Torte- to die for!!

Visited Creekside during Cleveland Restaurant week to try out their food! We ordered the: - Creekside Sampler - Short Rib Ragu - Stroughton Strip Steak - Creekside Torte - Strawberry Cassata The Creekside sampler was a great way to try a different types of their apps! Their meat skewers were amazing!! The strip steak was also a great choice! Cooked to perfection, with sides of crunchy green beans and sliced crispy potatoes. Lastly, we finished off with dessert the Creekside torte was a great ending to our dinner! It was light and airy, and not too heavy. I would definitely come back for this piece of cake again!! Our service was also wonderful and quick! Loved that there was no wait and was seated right away.

The service was not great. The host was very nice. Our server was not great. It was as if she was preoccupied. She took out drink order and before we could even finish she left the table. There were four of us and only three got to order. When she came back with the three drinks then the fourth person ordered. We said we wanted to order appetizers and she left without taking the order. She then came back with the fourth drink and asked if we were ready. We said yes and she walked away and said she'd give us more time. She came back again and we stopped her and said we wanted to order appetizers. She took the order and we said no we wanted to order dinner too. So she took that order. It was very odd. For appetizers we got the spinach artichoke dip. It was good but you get twice as many chips to dip ratio. The potato skins were terrible. There was a pile of melted cheese in the middle of the plate that didn't even cover all the potatoes and hardly any bacon or green onions. The person who brought our food out was very abrupt and quickly placed the food down. For dinner I had the burger and fries. Burger was very good the fries are frozen potatoes with a coating to make them crispy. They were ok. We had the goat cheese salmon and pasta. Salmon was very good. The pasta was average. We also had the whisky salmon with rice and green beans. The salmon was very good the rice was gummy and the beans were very bland. We also had the pot roast on mashed potatoes. It was ok. It was very soupy and not a lot of meat more gravy than anything. We took dessert home. Casada cake and cannolis. Both were good. The ambiance is very nice. We were seated by the window which was cold but it was cold outside. It's a very nice restaurant with a nice fully bar. Tonight just wasn't a great meal. Food and service are usually better. We had a late dinner so I don't know if that mattered. They weren't busy but had been earlier so maybe they were just over it.

    Caesar Salad Supreme

As a local, Creekside is a great spot to enjoy lunch/dinner especially with the gorgeous view when sitting outside. However, this time I went the quality was definitely a little lackluster. Our server was good, no complaints. I ordered the Caesar Supreme salad and had high hopes, but was sadly disappointed when half of my lettuce was brown and soggy. If I would've seen that lettuce making my own salad I would have thrown it away, but it was under the chicken and so I couldn't really tell until I was about halfway through my salad :( The chicken on it was good though and tasted fresh. My friend had the All American burger with a side salad and she definitely enjoyed it.

    Strawberry salad with grilled chicken

Despite it being a chilly night, the heated patio was cozy. The strawberry salad was spectacular- why is it aways better out than when I make it at home??? And the zucchini planks - decadent. Top it off with a beautiful view of the Metroparks and it's a win all the way around.

Though there were pretty attentive when we first arrived, they quickly became distracted with other tables. We lost count how many times they passed us by when our water and cocktail glasses were empty (we were in the middle of their single path of travel). Cocktails were decent but their prices were proud; I would say the same for their small plate items. We were visiting from Dallas and paying $18 for a cocktail is a starting point there. Paying $18 in the back of a mercantile store with mediocre service, though the space was nice, was a stretch.

I did not expect it to be part of a large lifestyle center development. It has been open for a while, but there is still tons of building going on around. The entrance did not say Primer, instead it had a Canvas sign. That was confusing. When we first arrived there were not many people but after about 30 minutes more people arrived. The decor was cozy despite the coffee shop being very large. There were not many pastry choices. My guess it is much busier as a cocktail bar in the evenings.

When you walk into the apartment building, there is also a shared workspace there as well. So there were quite a few people there working and meeting. It was nice to see a hustle and bustle, but I felt almost like at a hotel conference or college campus or something! Ordering was a little tricky too, as you just go up to the bar an order. There's not like a designated place to order, as far as I could tell. So if the bar was all full, it would be really awkward to order for a coffee setting! There was only one person working, so service was really slow. Which I didn't mind, but I also wasn't there working! I wasn't quite sure where I could enjoy my coffee either, since I didn't want to be in the way of any of the shared working groups and meetings. My coffee was DELISH though! I had a hazelnut latte. It was so good! The barista was very nice too. And it's pretty cool that the place is a cocktail bar in the evenings too !

The booth I sat in was ran down, you shouldn't sink into the booths when you find that perfect "@ss spot" being used for over 5 years. (Pet peeve of mines, this is why I hate booths). The menu is sort of all over the place with no cohesiveness. The price points for the quality and quantity is off for me, way off. I wanted the wedge salad but was told they have no ranch... "how don't you have ranch" I ordered the chicken piccata, it was nothing to write home about. Strike two when the waiter asked did I "need any salt and pepper, hot sauce". (Eyebrow raise, hot sauce!?!?) They warmed the frozen chicken breast up nice. The sauce was good but a burnt flavor lingered. Not sure if it was the sauce or the burnt vegetables. The mashed potatoes were congealed and flavorless. After I found a dime sized black flat ball of something in the mashed potatoes I had enough. I looked at all the beautiful dishes on yelp before I came here. ***WARNING*** if you don't see good pics and reviews within 10 months or so old, DONT DO IT!
