The vibes used to be cool here. I I used to come here all the time for the Bartender John. He's high energy and attentive. He treats everyone like family. Through the years he single-handedly has created a really dope atmosphere for people who work nights which can be challenging.. there's recently been a new employee who I've grown I like whose name is tiara. She's got a great energy to her, but with that being said, this is where it all stops. The music cuts in and out now all the time it changes volume up and down intermittently! There's no jukebox which means there's no vibe/mood setting. This is an odd move by corporate or whoever the owner is because every bar in Vegas for the most part has a jukebox or something equivalent. Hate to say it, but I might be checking out the competition sooner than later. Here's a thought to who ever makes the decisions,.. if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!!!! I really wanna give this place stars because of what it used to be. John is F'ing amazing but the changes that have been made are not. We did a spontaneous visit to the Lodge on Starr. We all got a couple adult beverages. I got a beer and I tried the fish n chips. Breading was light and not heavy. Service was very good and friendly. Bar was clean and tidy. The decorations were modern and simple. Everyone at the bar looked like they were having fun and it was a nice place to hang out. Thanks for the food and service. I really like this Lodge location! Came here with my husband the other night to meet my sister in law and her boyfriend for a late dinner and some drinks. First of all, this one is a lot nicer than the one that we typically go to. It's a lot lighter inside, and they have games like darts and pool and whatnot. So love that already. We sat down in a big booth area and ordered drinks. I couldn't decide for the life of me what to order and our server was super patient. I ended up settling on an Angry orchard, which was crip and great, though I wish I got something on tap because that always tastes better. To eat, I ordered the spinach dip and tacos. The spinach dip was sooo creamy and delicious. I think it maybe needed some salt, which I should have tossed in there. But it came with pita bread, toasted bread and chips which was enough to dip with it. The tacos were a little blah for my taste, but I ate them. They did come with salsa, which I didn't use, so probably my fault there. All in all, the atmosphere here is awesome and I would totally come back to this one again. read more

You play $120. for 500 points $40. ahead of time before getting any service.  Then , I'm told you gotta pay for all your drinks.  Then, it makes a face that you didn't tip more after $40. on a $98 tab.  How does $120. and $40. means you get a $30 drink comp? David, the server is awesome. Sam is fabtastic. Amanda isn't up to par and losing you guys' money, flirting with other guests, and talking incessantly before you get a menu, drinks, or knows what you gamble. The food for happy hour isn't worth it if you gamble and pay even more drinks that should have been compensated. The ambiance is decent, but the bartender makes the crowd. Place is typically empty. Service is super slow. Bartenders rather be talking to each other and on their phones. Bartenders pick and choose who they attend to. Racist vibes from this place. No other bar in Las Vegas has ever made me feel this way. I got a lot more details but I'll save that for the Lawsuit. I will not let them get away with treating anyone like this. Southwest egg rolls were delicious better than CPK. Be aware of a secret charge of 1.00 for condiments such as onions, etc that historically comes with chili. Restaurants decor very nice, establishment very clean. read more

Located just off St. Rose Parkway. Came here on a Sunday morning and found the restaurant decor and atmosphere just like the other "Lodge" restaurants- nice and comfortable. We ordered the Baja Fish Tacos, steamed Potstickers, and Lodge seasonal salad with house dressing. Table service by Anna was very good, professional, and friendly. The food came within 15 minutes and it was all prepared just right. All were tasty and delicious. Price for our meal was $45 before tip. Will definitely be returning to try their other menu items. First time here and impressed by the ambiance. Definitely modern and music is up to date. This spot will be my new local drank and play hole. Abosulte one of the worse melas I have ever eaten. Actually, partially eaten cuz we never finished our plates. The corn beef was mushy n tasteless. There was no cabbage as advertised n the veggies were mush. You stab a carrot or potato with ur fork n it would fall apart because it was overcooked. The waitress was very slow and came to our table just to take our order and never asked how our food was. I've been coming here for over a year... it's my home. I love everyone who works here! I always play and do really well. The machines are new so it's nice. I've been on every shift and I can't say enough about the staff. They have my drink down as soon as I walk in... I don't even have to ask! The food is good. I usually stick to the shrimp wrap or wings but I've tried most of the menu and can't complain at all! Not your typical bar food at all. read more

Confused on how the night went south. Both my boyfriend and I were up and tipped $60 and gambled the entire evening. And when we left we had a $200 tab. I had a quesadilla that was served without sour cream, salsa etc. But the $200 tab made no sense since we were gambling the entire evening. If you are going here as a local, it's probably fine. They lure you in with a 10$ promo, but you have to spend 20$ and they've got only a handful of games that are also locked on 3$ or higher bets. You're out of money in seconds. They're also really pushy on getting a drink. Again, maybe locals like this but I say skip if you're from out of town. read more

This is going to be my new place. Amanda and Stephanie were awesome. They never let my drink run dry and kept me hydrated with water. The bar is large, clean and I really had a good time. This was my first time here as this place just opened up recently. The bartenders and servers greeted me as soon as I walked in. Plenty of seating, very clean, and the music is great. I was served my drink really fast and the food I chose was excellent. The servers and bartenders are constantly checking in to see if I'm good. Regular bar food here, the only thing I consider are the wings and tots, but anything else will fill you up and nothing to write home about. Service has gone extremely downhill. Inattentive and couldn't be bothered... pool is $12/hr, but they don't tell you that. Ultimately asking for a beer 3 times from a forgetful server and still having the beer be our responsibility is strange for a local bar. I have no problem paying for what I order, but the price comes with service and we might as well have walked next door to the gas station and picked it up ourself. By the time we got the beer and drank it we were charged for another hour of pool. We asked for some understanding considering that specific circumstance but was not treated with much understanding at all.... They said they took care of "a bunch of our drinks" but we only had 3 beers, of which, all 3 were on the tab. Very strange interaction, and will not return. We used to come here often for the bartenders, music, pool, and all around good atmosphere. The only good thing left is the nice decorations. I go here all the time as a local bar with friends. Unfortunately, for them I will never give them business again. I understand the reserve the right to skip songs on their AMI Music App, however, I played a song that didn't involve any swearing or bad message. I paid to play God Bless the USA, and a minute into the song it was turned off and switched to house music. I looked at the app and no one else had chosen a song to be played, so they had skipped my song due to their own discretion. Whether this song may be associated with a public figure or not, it is wild that they would skip this song, talking about the love for the country we live in. Never coming here again. USA! read more

12/30/2022. We live down the street. Decided to walk over for some food and drinks. Two middle age (1 female and 1 male) bartenders made eye contact with us as we came in. No smile, no greeting, no acknowledgement from either. My husband and I sat down at a table. 20 minutes passed by and not one single soul in that restaurant spoke to us - not the bartenders and not the servers walking around. We left after 20 minutes of being stared at and not waited on. Walked back home and drove over to PKWY TAVERN next to M Hotel on Volunteer and Las Vegas Blvd (5 min down the street) and the service there was amazing - we sat down and within 1 minute our server came to greet us with a smile. DO NOT GO TO THE LODGE AT STARR. Go down the street to PKWY TAVERN and give your 30% tip to servers and people that actually DESERVE IT! :) HAPPY NEW YEAR! read more

Tried this place for the second time today to watch an NFL Playoff Game. Not many people there. Game time 1:30pm. They switched the TV's to the game at 1pm but with no audio. They continued to play music. At 1:15 I asked if they could turn on the audio. The waitress said No! She said she won't turn it on til 2mins before the game. She said she HAS to listen to sports all day and didn't want to turn it on before 2mins before game time. With that answer and attitude we decided to pay our tab and leave. Recently moved to this side of town and am excited to make this my go-to. All staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and keep a watchful eye to ensure you're tended to in the appropriate time frame. The atmosphere is stellar compared to some of our other local bars. The decor and attention to detail on the little things are pleasant and viscerally fulfilling. I've been driving down Starr after work and noticed this lodge being built and finally opening a few months back. I've been to plenty of lodges and other type of bars during days on a grave schedule and never seem to interact with the staff too often. At first it was the decor that got me since I snowboard during the winter seasons in Tahoe, Utah, AZ and obviously Lee canyon. After the second or third time here the staff has more than just come around. They're awesome and attentive with an extremely friendly attitude and approach to their customers. Drinks are great and I love their selection of whiskeys. I usually order the bomb Ahi( get it with avocado!) but they recently let me in on a sandwich not on the menu but it's alias was The Lunch Special. Avocado, alpha sprouted, tomatoes, onions, pulled pork, and bacon with spicy chipotle sauce I believe on sourdough . Cant recall all of the recipes but this thing needs to go on the menu ASAP. Two more were ordered right after me when they laid eyes on this hangover cure feast. I'll be back for more but what really has me coming back are the bartenders who take care of my drinks, the servers who are quick with great recommendations and the chef who is critical of his food and come out for a critique.
