I've visited this bar before several times and NO PROBLEM, but my last visit was quite disastrous. I ordered food and our waitress forgot to place half our order and drinks as well. Our waitress was going home ending her shift and basically didn't give a shit. I walked to the bar as a reminder of our drinks and they were horable, especially the margaritas. The margaritas tasted like pure lemon juice and I returned it with the suprise to receive another horrible one,like how can you fu#k up a margarita??? I would recomend this bar but only for cocktails, no food or margaritas. read more

Went there for a comedy show put on by Bonkerz. When we arrived we found out you have to go up a flight of stairs to the 2nd floor to order your snacks, or food for the table, then you climb up to the 3rd floor where the show is. there is no elevator! I was with my disabled boyfriend and disabled brother. How does this place pass the disabilities act??? I even told them I don't know if they are going to be able to climb three flights of stairs and they said they have no other way. read more

I was very disappointed in visiting this establishment. Their selection for vegetarians is awful! And when I asked the waiter if the chef would make any other accommodations or recommendations for vegetarian they said "No but we have salad." The service was terrible. The waiter kept forgetting some of the drinks for the people in our party and they could not answer questions about the beer selection. The macaroni and cheese was bland and oily. Not impressed at all. Had the elk burger and it was bland, had a ton of spring lettuce on it and a tiny bit of onion. No seasonings. Medium was well done and you can't over cook an elk burger or it's not great. Had better many times. Chicken wings my hubby had was as if frozen and not great either said it tasted freezer burnt. I really like the atmosphere with the TV/Sports Bar theme. I'm not sure if they're understaffed or the servers just need some time to adjust. The servers we had for our two visits seemed bewildered and it showed in their attitudes. I was quite happy to stand in line to get the complimentary beer per day card, I thought I'd be there to use it on most Sundays to watch football. Turns out that domestic beer means Coors Light or Bud Light. I will not be using the card, or watching football there on Sundays. I've tried 2 menu items; the wings were ok, the wife enjoyed them more than I did. The redfish had to be sent back, it was like the glaze was made from maple syrup. It tasted like a Waffle House pancake. The server said we weren't the first to make that comment. I'll probably be back there for a game sometime in the hopes that things have improved. We were so excited to get a new place to go to on the square! Lots to work on though! Number one is the fact that we stood in line for over an hour to get a card where we could get a free draft beer a day for a year only to find out the only option is lite beer which to me seems a bit misleading since it didn't say that in the description of the offer. Most people don't even drink lite beer and the Lodge specializes in unique beer which is what we were looking forward to. Food is sub par, fries and wings are very good but redfish tasted like pancakes and syrup. And service is way too slow, but the servers are friendly!! We took our dogs out to walk around downtown and decided to sit outside at The Lodge to have a drink and some appetizers. Being Sunday afternoon it was pretty quiet and I went inside to let the server know we were sitting outside with dogs. She brought us menus and took our drink order. We asked her if we could get a bucket ot bowl with water for the dogs. She brought out a perfect sized bowl with water for them. We then ordered the pretzel with beer cheese and the hummus with chips. Both were SO good! The chips were homemade potato chips and the hummus was delicious. The pretzel came out nice & hot and the beer cheese was yummy. We will definitely be back, both with and without the dogs. read more

Stopped by last weekend for a round of a cold beverages, purchased through the window for on-site consumption. Not a peep out of the server that my bottle of beer couldn't be opened in public, until she handed it to me unopened in a plastic bag and I asked if I could open it, only to be told no. My takeaway is she cared more about making a sale than giving me the option of forgoing the purchase since I couldn't enjoy it there. Why would I buy a single bottle there to take home? On Sunday evening August 11th I came into the restaurant with my brother, I'm visiting from out of town, anyway we had a nice batch of wings and some good beers. My brother proceeded to walk over and look at your display shelves with stuff to purchase I guess,(there is Do Not Touch sign mind you) he picked up the jagermeister bottle and showed it too me when from behind the bar the bartender/general manager yelled at him "hey bro don't touch that ok"? My brother was confused and said "excuse me are you referring to me"? The so called general manager continued to yell from behind the bar and instigate the situation to the point that my brother then got angry and there was back and forth yelling between them. This was very unprofessional of your general manager and he did nothing to deescalate the situation at all. He was even allowing other customers to yell at us and tell us to "get the fuck out"! I was trying to talk to him in a professional manner but he wasn't listening, he just kept yelling. We left without paying our bill, which means your waitress lost money as well as your business. We will never occupy your establishment again and I hope something is done about the unprofessionalism! read more

The lodge is a great new addition to the downtown square! They have over 200 beers and wines to choose from and the food is unique and delicious! It's a great spot for sports fans as they have the NFL package! I can't wait to see how well this place turns out after they get all the kinks worked out and get everything down packed! Decided to try to find a new place with the limited choices downtown. Had their fried chicken sandwich special. Came out so overlooked that the breading was as hard as a rock and dark brown. Totally uneatable. Mac and cheese side was nothing but cooked noodles with cheese poured in the top. Sent it back paid my bill and left. They had 1 friendly professional bartender, other bearded one had a attitude from the get go. To the point of ignoring me after being asked a question about a beer selection to talk to his buddy first , then answer the question with a smart Aleck response. I almost left then before ordering. They also hold a credit card when you order. I guess they think they are a college frat bar. Not where I will go for a date night. Too bad, was hoping to find a new spot. read more

The food itself has excellent potential but the delivery needs help. Our server was horrible, I don't think she had ever waited a table in her whole life and she didn't seem to know anything about any of the items on the menu. We sat down to our table around 5:30 and it took us over 2 hours to get our food and there were only a few other tables in the restaurant. The chef clearly has skills, but his staff needs some serious training and maybe they need to sample some dishes so they know how to describe the dishes to customers. If this place has any hope of making it in this town they will need to get some better servers and don't be so stingy with the salad dressing, its good dressing let us enjoy it. Also when someone orders a second glass of wine don't take the same glass they were drinking with and refill it get them a new one. read more

if you want to go to your septic tank and take the cover off and smell you made it to the Lodge. This place stinks like sewage. You have to walk in the door and you will turn around and leave. My wife and I went to have a beer and could not believe how bad it smelled. We thought we would still give it a chance and have a beer. We waited forever for the girl to come over to help us, she was too busy talking to a coworker. I asked what they had on draft and she said it's on the board. She gave me a menu of what they had in bottles and cans. The menu is so small you need a magnifier to read it. At that point I told my wife I have smelled enough sewage to last me for a lifetime.
