Wings are great, catfish is top notch, and my favorite Fried Bologna Sandwich is a thick hand cut slab of beef bologna, with cheese on crispy toasted Texas Toast style bread. The bartenders are awesome!! Madi, Jordyn, Jamie, and Bailey are fantastic. They never let your beer get low before a replacement appears in front of you. I visited for the first time with my boyfriend, his son and family friend it was pretty packed but there was one table open when we arrived. We were greeted by a pretty waitress who was bless her heart working all by herself there to serve everyone there had to had been about 40 people there she was very polite and friendly served the whole time with a smile we were there around 6:00 pm Saturday night. We ordered the wings, oysters, cheeseburger and appetizer shrimp. The food was delicious all of it! Hats off to the cook! The only complaint I have was we wanted BBQ sauce for the wings and they were out so tried the cowboy max and buffalo sauce they were good as well will definitely be back! I visit Ocala for work frequently and eating at chains can get old real fast. I was sent to shuckers by some locals and they told me I would love it. What the owners Jud and Jaime have done with such a small building is amazing . It was sparkly clean, and the seafood was so fresh. I ate lunch there, left and then came back for dinner with a client who loved it. We had oysters, crawfish, wings (cowboy max flavor) , and a fried fish sandwich and a cheesesteak. You can taste the freshness and made to order ingredients in every bite. My beer never got empty once. That's their claim to fame. I couldn't be more welcomed and happy with how friendly they are. Not that anything has changed at Shuckers but HANNA the 20-something year old "manager" screwed us with a surprise up-charge for pitchers of (get ready for it)...Corona Light. Shuckers menu says draught pitchers are $9.00. Reasonable. So who wouldn't be surprised at a bill charging $32.00 (+tax) for two pitchers? They took us for an extra $14 but lost us for thousands in ongoing future business. read more

I don't normally leave reviews but My husband and I came in a few months back while we were visiting some family for awhile and they told us the new location where we can find oysters and crab legs for a decent price. First time was amazing, our server knew everything on the menu. She had everything memorized for market price and she told you what was popular and what wasn't as popular. She told you about the best drinks vs the least favorite drinks, she was attentive as she took care of everyone else that walked in the door. She had the biggest smile and we just adored her. After that we came in about 4 more times just to come back for the seafood trio and for her to be our server. After leaving Ocala I told all my friends about this little cute shack they just built and they're planning on building more in other locations, we recently just had to come back down to do some family things and we stopped in on Thursday to get a quick bite and see Clarissa to say hello. I was so disappointed to hear that she left, I wish I knew where she ended up to go see her if she's working somewhere close to 200 before we head back up to Boston. We saw her twin that she always praised about and it was so nice seeing a familiar face as they do look so much alike lol.
