Slow roasted to perfection and falling off the bone, unique vanilla parsnip puree, and delicious coffee roasted carrots complimented perfectly. Others in my party ordered the filet steak which was cooked to perfection, and the Apple Cider Glazed Pork Belly - which was maybe our favorite of the night with its bright Asian-inspired flavors and kohlrabi pear slaw. An added plus was the loft which was ideal for video and a birds' eye view of the ceremony. Location was within minutes of hotels, so guests didn't have far to venture. The fact that the ceremony AND the reception were in the same building was really neat. The turnaround from "chapel" to "dance floor" was fast, too! Hard to believe they ran out of tonic, the crowd really wasn't that big! They did have brats and burgers. I got a brat and it was pretty good. That was it for food. The first couple projects we completed were the string art kits. The curbside pickup was seamless and the staff was super friendly! I got home to find the wrong color board but the issue was addressed promptly and Revel went above and beyond to make sure their customers were happy! Picking up a new board couldn't have been easier. Also, when I was at the end of my project and about 15 nails short, they were gracious enough to mail them out to me so I didn't have to drive from Milwaukee to Madison. The customer service here is phenomenal and really made me feel like they cared about their customers. I will be the first to say that I'm not a crafty person but the "Love" design was one I was willing to put forth the effort for and I'm so glad I did. Hammering all those little nails took a little more time than I expected and I'm glad this was a project for home so I could work on it as time allowed. Our next project is the etched coasters and can't wait to see how those turn out. I look forward to being able to visit Revel during "normal" times and take advantage of their workshops and events. They have a bar area to order drinks or snacks from. You are also able to bring your own food in to snack on. There are instructors there to help you if you want any assistance with any craft. Overall, it was such a fun experience! Great for a girls night or for anyone who likes to craft and socialize. I would highly recommend booking an event at Revel!! :)

While I enjoyed the novelty of visiting the venue, the food will keep me from making repeated visits.

It was a beautiful venue to celebrate the love of my beautiful friend and her wonderful now-husband. However, it was horribly hot inside. The bridal party was sweating uncomfortably, as were the guests. Granted, it's an older building, so I don't know if it has central air or not, but it was blistering hot. The food, however, was only lukewarm when it was served. The staff, however, seemed wonderful, and overall, I thought it was a lovely location for a wedding reception.

We were met in the parking lot by employees who led us to the venue entrance. The weeding took place outside behind the building with a pond and woods in the backdrop. It was a beautiful day and made the occasion even more attractive. I'm sure the pictures will be amazing! Cocktail hour and appetizers were hosted outside the main building partially under an overhang. Games like Cornhole and Large Jenga were available. Music was also piped into the area. Dinner was served in the building which has seating on a main floor and in an upper balcony. There is also a good sized bar in the back. After diner the party was moved back outside so the main dining area could be turned into a dance area. Because the weather was so great I'm pretty sure it never moved back in! Music and dancing outside on a warm summer night was perfect! (And no mosquitoes) Late night pizzas were prepared on a wood fire grill and served to cap off the evening. Voted the best wedding venue many times over. I can see why!

The planning process can be arduous, but the HMP team was there every step of the way to answer questions, provide advice, and respond in real time to changes up to and including the day of the wedding. As a former bartender I had some pointed questions and requests for Brian, he exceeded my expectations both in the guidance he provided in choosing quantities and variety if beverages, but also in the quality of the product they churned out the night of our wedding. Stephanie was so kind and welcoming and knowledgeable. She had recommendations for anything we asked her opinion on and the result thanks to her was a gorgeous day at a gorgeous venue that we could sit back, relax, and enjoy. Mackenzie's attention to detail and accessibility leading up to and on the day of the wedding was phenomenal. We could go on and on about how much we loved working with the HMP team. You hope you only get married once, but these guys made the experience so fun and our day turned out so gorgeous that we'd do it all again if it meant working with this team.
