The Loft is a restaurant tucked away in the new clubhouse at the Furnace Brook golf course. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating for dinner and there was a lovely bar area with high ceilings and tv's to enjoy a drink. Ambience was more on the casual side and there were several families there so it's kid friendly. The food itself was ok. Standard American fare - pizzas, sandwiches, and mains like steak tips and cod. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was a cutlet without much buffalo sauce to it. My MIL really enjoyed the hot dog though and the portions are solid. The service was great though. Bonus having a playground close by for kids to play. Didn't need reservations for a Friday night as there was plenty of seating. Plenty of space to hold a large event or a big group of diners.

Vodka Lemonade - super good. Tasted like crushed Pez.

Was able to get seats quickly as most people was standing around the bar area. Had a lot of good food options to choose from we decided on the pizza and some drinks. Ambiance was great, big Drifters neon sign on the wall with music playing in the background as it turned out to be an awesome evening.

The place itself was small too so the music really overpowered everything. But once the live music wrapped up the vibes were good! Not too loud that I was screaming over it, but still lively. I got the Heart of Stone which was delicious! Not too sour or sweet, but was definitely a strong cocktail. I had 3/4 of it and I was already feeling it. My friend got an Old Fashioned and she was a big fan! It went down quite smoothly and tasted good too. For $14 a drink, it was a little pricy but honestly I've seen places in Boston charge more. I would recommend coming here to grab drinks but maybe not a spot to catch up because of how loud it was. Would love to try their food as it looked pretty good!

We were advised light snacks so figured we should probably get a base before heading that way. We walked in to the coolest Irish pub that opened up in the back. It was way bigger than I expected. We quickly ordered drinks and I ordered a Moscow mule (my go to). It was in a copper mug and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered a beer, which he enjoyed too. We ordered some oysters and corn ribs for an appetizer. I had never had corn ribs before and was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I split the fish and chips and I'm really glad we did. The fish was extremely large and almost filled the plate. It was crispy and delicious. It was definitely well made. The sauce on the side was even better, too. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite and a pint.

Super relaxed atmosphere and tv's, so it would be a great place to watch a game. Friendly bartender and the fish and chips was good. They also have pizzas that looked great. My friend had a pesto with burrata and she said it was awesome. They also have gluten-free pizza, whihc is good to know. Our table neighbor had the pork chop, which also looked great. They have a small parking lot, which would fill up quickly. We went on a very "off" time, so we were able to park in that lot. Otherwise, you'd need to find street parking.

Cheryl and I met our daughter and daughter-in-law at Brick & Beam in Quincy to celebrate Jamie's…read more31st birthday, and we had a really nice evening together. Even more exciting, Jamie is due in December with our third grandchild, another little girl, so we had plenty to celebrate. We started with Bang Bang Cauliflower, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, and Shrimp Cocktail, and every appetizer was a great choice. The girls ordered an Aperol Spritz, an Espresso Martini, and a soda water with lime while I kept it simple with a Bud Light. For dinner, Jamie and I both ordered the steak tips with mashed potatoes and spinach. The steak tips were cooked perfectly, and the Parmesan mashed potatoes were especially good. Regen enjoyed the avocado salad with chicken, while Cheryl had filled up on appetizers and happily shared some bites from my plate. The food easily earns 5 stars. Everything we ordered was delicious. I'd give the atmosphere 4 stars. It was comfortable, lively, and a great place to spend a couple of hours catching up. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star overall experience was the service. I'd give that 3 stars. Perhaps our waitress was new or simply having an off night, but she was very inattentive. Several times she walked past our table without checking in while we were waiting to order more drinks, place our appetizer order, and later our dinner order. I would even call out to her and she just walked by. The good news is that it didn't put a damper on the evening. We were having such a great time talking, laughing, and celebrating that the slow lack of service was easy enough to overlook. Overall, I'd give Brick & Beam 4 stars. Great food, a nice atmosphere, and despite the service hiccups, we had a wonderful night celebrating Jamie's birthday. To top it all off, we took a short walk down the street afterward and finished the evening with ice creams from Dairy Freeze. It was the perfect ending to a great family night!
