The place itself was small too so the music really overpowered everything. But once the live music wrapped up the vibes were good! Not too loud that I was screaming over it, but still lively. I got the Heart of Stone which was delicious! Not too sour or sweet, but was definitely a strong cocktail. I had 3/4 of it and I was already feeling it. My friend got an Old Fashioned and she was a big fan! It went down quite smoothly and tasted good too. For $14 a drink, it was a little pricy but honestly I've seen places in Boston charge more. We ordered some oysters and corn ribs for an appetizer. I had never had corn ribs before and was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I split the fish and chips and I'm really glad we did. The fish was extremely large and almost filled the plate. It was crispy and delicious. It was definitely well made. The sauce on the side was even better, too. They have a small parking lot, which would fill up quickly. We went on a very "off" time, so we were able to park in that lot. Otherwise, you'd need to find street parking.

It's an old school spot in the middle of a neighborhood. Small bar probably seats eight and obviously is filled with regulars from the neighborhood. Wonderful bartender and the patrols warmed up to us quickly. This is not a new place and nor should it be. Strong drinks, cold beers, and a good spot to watch a game. Remember, a small place. My first visit today I will definitely be back decent beer prices for bud bottles 4 bucks and there's always a sporting event happening be it football soccer rugby!
