This review is solely based on the food, our server, Malika, was amazing. We got the buffalo chicken dip, the dip itself was okay (not that gooey/warm - clumpy) and the chips were very stale. The fries were standard fries, nothing extraordinary, but if you get the truffle fries, those were yummy. I got the grilled chicken sandwich, I thought the flavor was good, but it was pretty salty. People liked their smash burgers, I thought they were salty as well. I don't think I would go again because nothing on the menu really made me want to come back, but I think it's a nice place for drinks.

The vegetarian healthy burger was quite tasty and blows most veggie burgers out of the water. Warning it has a bit of spice to it but the avocado and cheese really balances it out. Large burger size plus fries means you won't be hungry going the vegetarian route. It was buzzing for a Friday night when I dropped in to pick up our takeout.

This place was recommend to me and I'm so glad we tried it! We split a bunch of apps (chicken tenders, buffalo chicken dip, and quesadillas) and everything was amazing. My favorite part were the margaritas. They were so strong and not served in a tiny glass like other places!!

Decent place and good service. With tasty app and martinis. TVs all around to watch games. Up beat environment.

It was 3pm on Saturday and the place was packed. The food was good, it was still the lunch menu so basic bar food . I got the lucy burger of course! Daughter got hot bird. she liked it but said too many pickles. The buffalo chicken dip was spot on with chips, carrots and celery. The vibe was sports bar but it was so loud that I had trouble hearing waitress. I will be back again soon.

Definitely enjoyed today with momma love BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP (GFM) buffalo braised chicken | ranch cream cheese | pepper jack | blue cheese crumbles | tortilla chips | MAC & CHEESE (GFM) four cheese blend | mezzi rigatoni | herb panko breadcrumbs | + brisket or buffalo fried chicken +8 pulled pork +6 Mac and cheese could've been well done done but it was decent and we to go it

I love Lucy's! What a great casual spot to hang out with friends or watch a sports game. The service was super attentive and friendly. The food was amazing - highlights included the guacamole (not your standard guacamole, but had the addition of pico de gallo and street corn), the burger royale (included onion strings and bacon) and the truffle fries! Would definitely recommend checking this spot out

Would've gone 3 1/2 stars if available. Had a hit or miss experience here recently. Food was average. Customer service wasn't all that great. And pricey for what I got. Wouldn't totally avoid - but not in a rush to go back.

Loved the large open floor plan. Pub height and regular tables spacious wrap around bar. Our waitress Katelyn was very friendly and asked us what we liked and recommended the short ribs Food was delicious, along with an espresso martini. I'm looking forward to going back to try their brunch.

Sadly I've tried to consistently come back 3 more times and it's been so disappointing. It's a super popular spot to the locals and it's always packed. Thankfully wait times have never been too terrible like 30-40 min waits. Everything we got was so bland. The in yo face breakfast sandwich itself wasn't too bad because I enjoyed the natural flavor of things and the buns were super soft but again no additional flavor even though it was supposed to have aioli. For my boyfriend's bowl, it was literally 90% potato with some bits of bacon and Brussel. They also didn't even ask how the egg would be cooked. It was over hard. As for the burrito, just egg mainly and no flavor.

I took a group of friends here for my birthday brunch. I was looking for a good Saturday brunch and have been here in the past, and always enjoyed the food. It has a good reputation, so I decided to give the brunch a try. We had six people in my party and everybody raved about their meals. We started with appetizers and got the egg rolls as well as the French toast sticks. My friend said she would drive an hour from her house to eat the French toast sticks again. I got the country Benny, another friend got the chicken and waffles, another friend got the goddess salad, and I don't remember the other meals, but everybody was really happy. Their service was great. They got us in quickly and out on time for a show that we were headed to. It made me so happy to see everybody in my group so happy because a few of them can be very hard to please when it comes to dining out!

Lucy's American Tavern Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Lucy's American Tavern

Does this place have vegan options for brunch?

Not on the official menu because most of brunch has eggs. However you may be able to get something like avocado toast or tostadas with refried beans and guacamole because they have it for other dishes.

Is the healthy burger veggie patty vegan or just vegetarian?

They are calling it vegetarian on the menu. That is likely because the spicy aioli has eggs in it.

Is this a good place for a big group to go to hang out at the bar?

Yes, you can also make arrangements to have a section of the restaurant closed off for your party depending on the size. This place gets very crowded, I recommend making arrangements prior to your event.

Yum. Yum. Yum!!!! I really loved this restaurant…read more To drink, I got the Spicy Cuke which came with a tajin rim & it was super refreshing, my friends got the Wildest Dreams and it was super light & fruity. To start we shared the Guacamole which came with tortilla chips and some sort of crema which was an nice addiction. When we finished the chips, but still had a guac left, they brought out more chips which was such a nice touch. For our meals, I got the carne asada tacos, as well as we got the fish tacos & the Cali Bowl and I really have no notes for any of the them! the tacos only had 2 in each dish but they were filled enough where it felt like enough food for a meal, and the bowl was large and a huge portion! We sat outside and while it was a beautiful day, the high top chairs were super uncomfortable, the actual seat was so small & they had no back, we found ourselves feeling pretty uncomfortable quickly. Overall, a really good spot for a good meal in Marina Bay & I can't wait to go back!

The service there is decent, but we only saw our waitress a few times and had to order another item & obtain the check through the manager walking. we sat outside on the pier overlooking the boats and the view is gorgeous. like you're already eating good food and then you look up and you have that. really hard to beat.

The place itself was small too so the music really overpowered everything. But once the live music wrapped up the vibes were good! Not too loud that I was screaming over it, but still lively. I got the Heart of Stone which was delicious! Not too sour or sweet, but was definitely a strong cocktail. I had 3/4 of it and I was already feeling it. My friend got an Old Fashioned and she was a big fan! It went down quite smoothly and tasted good too. For $14 a drink, it was a little pricy but honestly I've seen places in Boston charge more. I would recommend coming here to grab drinks but maybe not a spot to catch up because of how loud it was. Would love to try their food as it looked pretty good!

We've been here 3 times now and have had the chance to try a bunch of different dishes and we haven't been disappointed yet! Here are the things we've tried so far (as of 2/2026). The Tre - $16.50 (for 3): This without a doubt is one of the best values you can have here! We've tried and recommend the following: - Fried Mozzarella - Nicely seasoned and great flavor. A bit heavy (obviously!). - Crispy Calamari - Also well seasoned and the Calabrian aioli pairs perfectly. - Italian Wings - Juicy and tender! The ranch sauce is also quite good. - Meatballs - Tender, flavorful and not too dense! Caesar Salad - $13.25 - Great price for the amount you get. Their dressing is also made in house and can actually be quite strong, flavor wise. We've found it best to have it on the side and add it ourselves. The first time we had it, it was a perfect amount but the 2nd time it was a bit overpowering when they over dressed it. Mozzarella and Tomato Sauce Pie - $16.50 (small) - Their pizzas here are phenomenal. The charcoal oven is really what makes a huge difference as the flavor it imparts onto the dough is superb. New Haven Original Clam - $21.50 (small) - Great pizza with ample amounts of clams. Would also recommend. Calabrian Stinger - $22.50 (small) - This pizza is quite saucy and very atypical when it comes to a pizza. HOWEVER, the flavor is stupendous with the hot peppers and hot honey. Would definitely recommend but be warned that it's a bit droopy from all the topics and sauce. Rigatoni Vodka - $23 - Great flavor in the sauce. Huge fan of it and would recommend. Do note that we were able to sub our pasta from rigatoni to fettuccini (from the Tagliatelle Bolognese). Speaking of which... Tagliatelle Bolognese - $24 - Great ragu sauce and not too heavy! Very fresh. Sally's Burger - $17 - Good burger but nothing that special. Price is great though. Vodka Parm - $17 - Again, the value is unbeatable and you get a ton of fries with the dish. It's basically a pizza folded in half with crispy chicken, mozzarella and their fantastic vodka sauce. You won't be left hungry if you can finish this! Overall, this is our go to when a pizza craving hits. The vibe here is also great with high ceilings and attentive wait staff. Would 100% recommend.
