The Loft is absolute my favorite place to go and be pampered. All the woman are amazing and talented in their work. It makes me want to go every chance I can! While I love all the ladies that work there Catherine has been doing my hair. Catherine listens to what you would like done and makes it happen! She is educated and will tell you what is possible at the moment and what is not. Example going from box dyed brown hair to blonde. It's not just going to happen but Catherine takes her time and makes your hair beautiful. She is extremely kind, talented and easy to talk to since you will probably be in her chair for a bit. I highly recommend going to the loft And asking for Catherine. No matter how you walk in you will feel 100x better walking out with her as your hair stylist/colorist etc. before and after pics attached! read more

The Loft Salon and Spa is a dream! I met Alyssa, the Loft's Salon Director at a different location and immediately I knew that I wanted to keep her as my stylist. She is so kind, funny, and talented. She has seen me go from blonde to brown and back as well as put up with my MILLIONS of questions on how she does her job (so perfectly of course)! When Alyssa became the Director at Loft, I stalked her and followed her to her new gig. Needless to say, I was blown away. The salon is clean and inviting and I love the ambiance. The Loft team is also very accommodating when it comes to scheduling and all of my "Omg, I waited too long and I need a haircut/color right now" emergencies. After years of living in nyc and traveling to get my haircut there, I finally found a salon in ct with quality stylists!!! I love Ashlyn's color and Jess and donna's cuts. Though I have friends who also go to the loft and all the stylists and colorists there seem fab. The space is gorgeous with a high end touch and I love shopping the chic products and accessories after my cut. The manager liz makes me feel so welcomed and makes sure the experience is complete from beginning to end. I give the loft an a plus!! read more

The loft has now become my go to place. I went somewhere else forever and never thought a place would steal my heart so much. It starts when you walk in, the front desk is so kind. Everything is clean and new. Music is so good! And you're not waiting a long time for your appointment time. I have been going to the loft for over six months now, I love to change my hair often and needed a great salon! I've been going to Catherine and she is excellent! I often like to have bright colors such as pink and purple and Catherine is fantastic with the fun colors! She is getting my hair back to blonde again and keeping it super healthy wich is great. Absolutely GORGEOUS salon and friendly, talented staff. I saw Alyssa for a haircut and color, with balayage, something I've always wanted to try but wasn't sure if it was for me. What a lovely event at the Loft! Women's Connection 2020 was invited to host a middle school girls night and the moms and girls had the most WONDERFUL time. Great salon! Big open space and lots of light for a good atmosphere. Shary is the best. She talked me out of a perm which is so last year and also wouldn't properly frame my face. She is also very experienced with mens hair cuts too which is harder to find at most salons. Next i will be coming in to get my color done. This salon is very beautiful! I got balayage for the very first time with Alyssa, she did such a wonderful job. A week later I came to get my eyelash extensions with Celeste.
