AVOID THIS PLACE!! Took a friend to dinner for his birthday. Saw the decent reviews and had expected a good meal. Unfortunately the reviews are misleading. The food was universally terrible. The broiled haddock was tasteless and over cooked. The chicken parm had an off flavor, was tough and was grilled with no breading. I asked for the manager who came over from the bar where he had been drinking. He explained that they grill the chicken parm. Huh? Even though it says "breaded" on the menu. I told him it wasn't good. He told me I was wrong. LOL Oh OK. I can see why it was mostly empty tables in this place. I'm sure these positive reviews are staff and friends. Met a friend here for drinks and dinner. Sat outside on their large patio with socially distanced real table and chairs - not plastic. Service was spot on - checking in often but not too much. Wine was good and the food was better. I had a BLT sandwich with fresh cut fries. The sandwich was huge. Maybe a little too much lettuce, but the tomatoes were deliciously perfect as was the bacon. The fresh cut fries were a little soft but still good. My friend ordered a pizza which looked delicious! I regret not getting pictures of the food. So here it is the morning after our meal and I'm still thinking about it and wondering when I can get back to try something else. This isn't the type of place I'd normally write a review for. It's call The Log Cabin, it looks like a log cabin. The inside looks more like a cross between a whoville bar and an Italian pizzeria. I didn't expect much... The confusion ends at the decor. Apparently the money in this place is being well spent on quality food and excellent drinks. Every single food item was cooked to perfection. It was the steak that blew me away though. This is only the second time I can recall ordering a medium rare steak in the greater Williamsport area and receiving a medium rare steak. You're lucky at most places to get it medium and usually it comes out medium well. We made light work of their holiday martini list, as well as ordering a few other cocktails from the bar. The drinks were exceptional, and the pours were heavy. What is most special about this restaurant is the homemade bread. We had a group of 5 here for lunch at about 1pm, and the meals came out fast. The menu is extensive and each of us had something different. Everyone I asked thought her meal was excellent, from the pizza, grilled chicken wrap, cheesesteak or turkey club. As you can see in these pictures, the dishes are nicely prepared. The sandwiches come with fresh cut fries. This was our first time here since new ownership/management about a year ago and we will be back! We went on a Sunday afternoon at 4:00 to celebrate a birthday. There were a couple of tables being waited on. We were a party of 10 and had reserved a table. Great food. The bartender is awful. Went there when it said it was closed at 2200. We arrived a half hour prior and the bartender was a complete asshole. We were there a few weeks prior and she had us move table stating it was too busy when there were numerous tables open. Absolutely awful service here. I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

1st. Night out in the Copper Room, Log Cabin Inn's new dining area, Chef prepares your food in front of you, not hibachi! service was great, Chef Libby banged our apps. Colossal shrimp, scallops in the shell, clams done in a beer sauce. When it came to the main course, bone in cowboy steak w/ banana rum sauce, beef carbonara, filet topped with shrimp scampi, and chicken roulade. The five of us could not have been happier! Wings were the best out of the three with the cheese sticks coming in second. Steaks were terrible. The Delmonico Steak was alright. The temp was right on. But taste was not that good. The special Filet was terrible. It was ordered medium rare. At best it was well done. Covered in a mushroom sauce that had no flavor at all. Very sub par. They had another special called Cajun Catfish that was supposedly cooked by a Cajun. I'll not waste are time. If he's A true Cajun then he's been up north way to long. I don't normally eat out, just don't. Since randomly dropping in a month ago for lunch, I've become a semi regular, which is quite a leap for me! Can't say I ate anything I'd Not recommend. Had a family party of 23 (which was called in weeks before) one waitress , Multiple drink and order mess ups, hair in one entree, a piece of rag in another, multiple bills were wrong .. Great food, terrible service. Walked in with family, server told us to seat ourselves. Bartender or owner or whoever she is made us with our handicapped grandfather move to a crowded corner because we chose a larger table (after they told us to seat ourselves). Then a 4 top sat exactly where we previously were and no one asked them to move. Then stopped in for cheesecake for a birthday at 9:45pm another night, door unlocked, no sign saying they're closed, people at the bar and online hours saying open till 10pm. Here is my official location review for The Log Cabin Inn, 7044 Industrial Park Road, Muncy PA. I grew up in this area and have been at The Log Cabin during every stage of development and ownership change since Ron & She owned it. I hadn't been there since it was redone. When I went in to the dining room we just kind of stood there wondering if we should seat ourselves or not. If you haven't been there since the remodel it can be a bit on the confusing side for just a second. After we asked if we needed to be seated or not, we sat down and our waitress came over to apologize for not seeing us come in. Mind you we didn't come in the main entrance. The decor surprised me. Very well done in comparison to what it was that's for sure. The lighting was perfect and the layout had an awesome, "Flow". The menu wasn't too big but it could've been slightly smaller. Finally the waitress came back and took our order. (I ordered a variety as I always do for a review) Keego Dip to start(Artichoke & 3 cheese dip) BBQ wings(They have several flavors to choose from), a side salad & a cheeseburger w/fries. The wings were advertised as,"Jumbo". You know I'm always honest so here is the breakdown. The wings were very delicious and cooked perfectly, but they were not jumbo. They were not tiny either. I would recommend them for sure! The Keen Dip is something I order where ever I go anywhere in the country. This dip was comparable to some of the good dips that I have had. A good cheese/spinach ratio. It came out hot and fast. It is served with their house garlic bread which was,"Ok" but hey, it's garlic bread. Next up was the salad. I loved the fact that it was very inexpensive and listed right to the point on the menu. Only lettuce, tomato and cucumber. Perfect! Fresh greens with a nice presentation. The cheeseburger(Which I of course did not try) was ordered medium and to my surprise it was an officially cooked,"Medium". Most places can't seem to nail that down. THE BURGER WAS HUGE, I'm talking so big that they custom make their own buns for their burgers. It came in the garden with your choice of cheeses. Other delicious menu topping add-ons were available. The environment was very nice and comfortable with booths and tables laid out offering a great customer flow. The bar is in the same room but set far enough away as to not interfere with dinner service. CONCLUSION/RATING: Based on my over all experience using a 5 star scale I give The Log Cabin a 4 out of 5 stars. THE BREAKDOWN: Environment- 4. Price of food-4 (Some items were pricey BUT the quality and portions are well worth it). Service- 3 out of 5. Service could use a little improvement simply by keeping an eye on the dining room so that you are able to promptly greet guests. Friendliness of the staff was, "Ok". It was not terrible by any means and the time of day we went in may have had something to do with it, but it never should. Food Order to Table time-5 stars. Our food was brought out well within the 15 minute rule and was cooked perfectly. It also arrived to our taable at a perfect temperature. Over all this place is one to visit when you're in the area. It's not the Log Cabin that your Dad used to hang out at anymore! I know they will continue to put out great food while making improvements! A MUST VISIT! They serve lunch and dinner and even a Sunday Brunch! The Log Cabin in also offers special theme nights that you might expect such as steak night, pizza night etc. I did not eat any pizza there but they sure seem to specialize in it. My wife & I ate there Sat. eve before Mother's Day. Naturally, they were busy & we expected a longer than normal wait. Had heard good reviews previously. We were totally disappointed. The servers were in disarray. The wait time for our meals exceeded 45 mins. The salad had 1/2 of a cherry tomato. I ordered a rib eye & ff. Got a delmonico & baked pot. Asked the server what I ordered. She had no clue. At that point I said leave it. Wasn't going to wait another 45 mins. The steak was tough & baked potato not completely cooked. My wife got haddock stuffed with crabmeat which was overcooked & dry. The vegetable was a tablespoon of small kernel corn which we didn't even try. No rolls served with the meal. Guess we should of suspected as much considering that when they brought our water, the straw was only 1/2" longer than the glass was tall & the straw wrapper cap they leave on was soaked in water. read more
