Since the 90's visiting The Villa has been a must place to eat for me. It's sophisticated yet casual and the family atmosphere is timeless. The food is authentically Italian with a homemade feel. The Villa is a place for a romantic dinner, it's a place to meet friends or bring business colleagues, a place for a night on the town or an evening relaxing with family. The food is always excellent, and the staff go above and beyond to make your dining experience amazing.

These beef tips are excellent, no wonder why the parking lot was full. This price was good, and the staff is friendly. Very nice place to come and eat.

Tenderloin tips & mushrooms over penne. Occasional special. Yum!

Love the salad dressing and peppers. It's a very busy spot, which speaks for itself. The prices are a little high.

We arrived just at the perfect time when there wasn't a crowd. When we placed our order, and sat down, every seat was taken, including the outdoor space, and people were waiting to sit. I really wanted the autumn hash, but they were out of it. I went with the omelet, without cheese. It came with potatoes, which were delicious. My mom had the classic breakfast and enjoyed the homemade jam. I tasted a bit, and also liked it. The coffee here was also superb. What I liked most was this place seemed to be farm to table. There was a sign listing out all of their local partners. You order at the counter, sit, and then your food is brought to you. Parking is a little tricky. We were there on a Saturday. My mom went inside and asked where to park, and we were told we could park two parking lots down at the Thai restaurant, as they were closed currently. Don't park in the Dollar General next door.

The Sawhorse Cafe, Williamsport Pa…read more The breakfasts are pretty good, as is the coffee. I'd say a 5 or possibly 6 out of 10. The space is small and cramped, with an unfriendly "woke" vibe. I've gone there on and off for a few years hoping the vibe might change to be more welcoming, but It hasn't. The last time I was there, I brought my wife for a relaxing breakfast together. There was one table left. I put my phone on the table and got in line to order our food, so when the food comes up we aren't standing there holding our food trying to eat standing up. The two girls in line in front of us waiting to order did the same exact thing, as their 2 purses were on a table and were in front of me in line, as did another man that I know was in line with his hat on a table. However, they decided to humiliate and embarrass us, telling us to take our things off the table and order first before taking a table. Even though we've done it many times before and most people do. We unfortunately were their petty examples of the day. We got out of line and left and spent our money at another breakfast spot that is equally as good or better, without the stress, humiliation and woke attitudes. We will never be back to The Sawhorse Cafe in Williamsport Pa, and I will be sure to tell my circle of friends about my unpleasant experience so they can too decide if they want to eat there. Maybe with less people coming in, we can help your seating dilemma.

Despite being one of the few patrons in the restaurant, my order took quite some time to come out. Drinks were made instantly, but I finished two before my entree arrived. The bathroom was strangely the only sticky element of the establishment. *Ribeye: huge 18 ounce ribeye served with sweet potato fries and creamed corn. Although I asked for medium rare, the edges leaned closer to medium well. That said, the steak was thoroughly seasoned and tender throughout. The sweet potato fries were heavily seasoned with sea salt, though the potatoes themselves were sweet enough to balance it out. The creamed corn was the most pungent and watery component. I wished the sauce had been thickened more, as it pooled underneath the steak and softened the bottom crust. Overall, this dish was hefty and a steal for the price. *Frost Bite: one of the seasonal mixed drinks. The Malibu and pineapple juice gave this a pina colada style profile. The blue curacao added a striking snowy appearance, though the drink itself leaned quite sweet. *Jingle Juice: another seasonal option, though this one packed a stronger alcohol punch. The tequila was more prominent, while the peach schnapps helped soften the edge. However, the cranberry and orange juices were barely noticeable, so it did not quite deliver the spiked fruit punch profile I was expecting. I loved the generous portions and strong flavors. While the execution was not perfect, the large sizes and heavy pours still made this a jolly experience.

My partner and I came today for takeout. We first discovered Mr. Sticky's after a friend brought some sweet delights of sticky buns. Cinnamon rolls flipped once they came out of the oven. Brown sugar mixture on the bottom of the pan melts into a smooth and silky cap that coats and cascades down the finished batch of rolls. Baked from scratch daily, they only make five versions of buns/rolls: the regular Mr. Sticky, plain cinnamon roll, walnut sticky bun, peanut butter cinnamon roll, and cream cheese cinnamon roll. Beside the star of the show, they also serve homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches served on their homemade rolls. We decided and called this morning an order for a dozen each of the regular Mr. Sticky buns and walnut sticky buns. Greeted by the staff upon entering, our order was ready for pickup in two large cartons. They were still hot arriving at our final destination. After biting through chewy, sticky rolls, you taste a blast of mouth-watering cinnamon and crusty bits of brown sugar. These are very big and can easily be shared and/or eaten over a few days. The pricing was reasonable at $52. It's worthy of a close to 4-hour drive, which we can recommend.

The atmosphere was calm, warm, and exactly what I needed. It didn't feel rushed or chaotic -- just genuinely comforting. The food was absolutely delicious and clearly made with care. Everything came out quickly, but never felt thrown together. You can tell they take pride in both their kitchen and their service. What truly stood out to me, though, was how above-and-beyond the staff went. The continued to check in on us. We were there pretty late at night, and they made sure we got to our vehicles safely.
