All the food that would have been cooked first thing in the am on the grill, bacon & home fires, both had an awful after taste. Absolutely one of my best experiences we were in New Hampshire today looking for a cottage industry bakeries stopped in at two ended up here in Raymond, New Hampshire with the most cutest little restaurant. I believe it probably seats close to 75 people at one time. Today they weren't super busy however they did have three service which worked out well. It wasn't super busy. They do close every day at noon time but they are closed on Mondays. They're open every day from 5:30 AM to 12 noon and they only serve breakfast and let me tell you they had such great specials today there was no way you couldn't pick one and use it for a lunch instead of breakfast. Our server's name is Abby. She only been up here a little bit and today was her third day of work and you wouldn't know that. she was outstanding coffee cups were never left empty. She was very friendly came back and checked a couple times on how the food was and stuff and if we were satisfied, and you know, the bill was very very inexpensive for breakfast. We spent a lot more and been very disappointed in the past. I did miss out on the SOS they had run out earlier this morning, which that's homemade in the house. Everything is made fresh here except she told me they don't make their own corn beef, hash, or baked beans. But that's OK. Everything else which is amazing. Maybe hoping to make this like one of our trips on the motorcycles one weekend because it would be kind of fun and the food is just like I said outstanding the portions of you you could see that from the picture and you can see is a really care about how they present their food and everything really looks delicious delicious and interesting. Owner is great food is decent, service is grossly inconsistent. It's your tip lady. I've been there about 50 times in the past five years so I don't make these claims lightly. Haven't been here in quite a while because of covid19 but, I was happy to be back for sure!! Had the spinach filet benny for breakfast and it was delicious. The waitress we had was super nice and got our order just right. The filet was cooked perfect, as were the eggs. We visited on the day after Xmas and possibly the staffing wasn't typical, but our food was average at best. The waffle was too cold to melt butter. My wife's eggs were fine, but hash brown and bacon were cold. I'm not sure if it waited before the waitress brought it, but we didn't have time to send it back. This was hands down the worst experience of a small town restaurant I have ever had. I love trying those little diners and supporting NH business owners however I would eat a burrito at 7'11 before I ever eat here again. The service was horrible, the coffee cold, and the food was not cooked the way it was ordered. Met a friend for breakfast on a Thursday, 9:30am. Staff was warm and welcoming, restaurant was surprisingly large, tables and floor appeared clean--not your typical sticky table yay! We both had omelettes, which were cooked well. Mine had bacon in it, which had remained crispy! (Nothing worse than floppy bacon). Had the $4.50 special - bacon and eggs, homefries and toast. Homefries were blackened and coated in paprika - so yummy just like the neighborhood breakfast joint in Yalesville, CT where I grew up. And I asked for rye toast only to be served marble rye - BONUS! Pancakes were just right too. The food was great but I wouldn't go back. The waitress accidentally gave my omelet to another costumer and apologized for it nicely (it was busy that morning). She was super nice and made sure I got my omelet as soon as possible. The cook on the other hand had such an attitude on him. He kept yelling at the waitresses for her mistake. He yelled across the room "I'm going to keep saying it till it drills into her head," and he wouldn't drop the subject even tho she apologized for it. What some call cozy, I call claustrophobic. There is nowhere to sit while waiting for a table and the chairs themselves were squeaking and uncomfortable. Buy some new chairs!
