Really has it all awesome scenery trails for miles the name says it all sometimes you feel lost on the trail system but that's all part of the fun you'll be fine a sign will show HOME soon enough or some other destination! Mud mud mud did I say deep mud holes yes bury your quad deep . Just an amazing Pocono destination and the fact it's on 2000 acres of trails! Best fun I could have on 4 wheels!

I went to The Lost Trails just this past week and had a great experience! I drove a UTV, which is a bit longer and harder to navigate through the trails but once you get the hang of it it's so much fun! Many trails are rocky so you have to be careful. My favorite parts of the trail would have to be the Top of the World, the Lake, and the Tunnel. The Top of the World is a beautiful site and I would never skip going there if I went back. The Lake and Top of the World are great spots to stop for lunch. It can get very busy on the weekends so if you can go on a weekday... it's rewarding because nobody will get in your way! Lost Trails is the closest ATV park to Northern New Jersey. It was the first I ever visited and I have been there 6 times, which is 4 too many. It is a good place to go a couple of times. The Tunnel and Top of The World are great spots. The flat rocks above ToTW are interesting. It just gets boring and repetitive after 2 visits. One major problem is that besides the highlights mentioned above and a mud pit and one small creek crossing, there is very little variety to the trails. You have small rocks, medium sized rocks and big rocks. There are currently no smooth trails or fire roads. Those trails that may have been smooth at one time have been dug out every 10 feet, providing never ending whoops that will hurt unless you have a machine with a high end suspension or drive very slowly. AOAA and FRO are only about 45 min further away and easily worth the trip. read more

Unless you have a big 1000 UTV DO NOT GO HERE you'll break you machine. However the staff at check in where very nice. No spots to open up the throttle on a sports atv or dirt bikes. The map they give you at the check in is useless and they charge you for a colored map. Signs on trails are just nonexistent. Easy to get lost. Even if you like rocks and mud look into other parks in PA(listed below) cheaper and a lot more variety in the trails. Believe me I read the reviews and thought I could get away with a big 700r. Go to AOAA or famous reading off-road. Way better trails and not to much further of a drive. 2 star because of the helpful girl behind the desk. read more

I decided to surprise my fiancé and take him here for his birthday! We went on a rainy day and got pretty muddy. Expect a challenging environment, it's on a mountain so there's a lot of mountain hills and slopes. You will be accompanied by a tour guide so if you get stuck they will assist you. Lost Trails was great! Went with a group of 7. 1 side by side and 5 ATV's. We started with a briefing after check in followed by a practice run. Then, we began the tour which was full of uphill, downhill, rocks and creeks. Wasn't too difficult but definitely kept me on my toes. The tour guide kept our line tight so we weren't tempted to speed up too much. They were also really helpful the couple times a few people got stuck. Would definitely return! This was an awesome experience! We did the ATV rental tour with my brother, mom and dad - perfect for people who have rode before and those who it was their first time. This was the only place that I was able to find in the area that let you ride for an hour and a half with rentals. The trails were great - some were more challenging and rocky - we got to go through pretty deep water too. The destination at the top of the world was so beautiful, we caught it at the perfect time in October to see the foliage, what a view! Anthony and Sean were our guides and were super friendly and made sure everyone was comfortable. My only feedback was we didn't get a chance or have a chance where the trail opened up to go full speed. Otherwise would love to do this again! read more

Short and sweet. The trails were awesome thanks to a rain storm the day before and excellent tour guides. We had an absolute blast. After a brief sign your life away liability waiver and quick test course to help acquaint yourself with an ATV or Sidecar if you've never ridden. The next thing you know we were plowing through huge puddles and climbing mountain sides. The caves part was definitely a great touch to an awesome ride. Highly recommend taking a tour. read more

I have ridden atv's in a lot of different places. Anytime I go on a trip somewhere atv trips are my adventure of choice. This is hands down my favorite place. I took my wife and kids (ages 16,15,13,10) and they all loved it. Only one kid was old enough to drive his own atv and everyone else rode while my wife drove the wildcat. They had just as much fun as us. It was cold and wet and muddy and everyone loved getting dirty, including the girly girls. Can't wait to come back. If I could I would give this extra stars. The guides were fantastic, checking on everyone adjusting their speed to our comfort level and taking pictures for us when we stopped with our cellphones. read more

This was my first time ever going off roading and I have to say the best experience ever! Staff was great and so friendly and helpful! Trails were definitely the adventure they promised and the whole place was just like family. Every person we encountered was super nice and helpful as a lot of them had been there before and I can certainly see why! We had an incredible time! We went on a rainy and cooler day, and we were the only ones who showed up for the tour. Our tour guide Paul was phenomenal! My husband and I rode the wildcat, and it was $165 for about 90 minutes. Yes, it's definitely pricy, but after the tour, you will realize that a lot of that cost probably goes to maintenance lol We went through puddles that were at least 3 feet deep! The entire experience was just amazing. We did bring a change of clothes for afterwards. They have bathrooms that you can get changed in as well. I think having changing rooms though would be a great addition to the facility! read more

I am a new Yamaha Grizzly ATV rider and this was my first time at Lost Trails today. I had read favorable reviews and have shopped at the War Horse ATV store adjacent to Lost Trails, which is excellent. About 1/2 mile in, we found Lost Trails to be extremely rocky throughout the entire expansive course, which is quite large. Each trail we tried was just filled with Pennsylvania rock everywhere. Our speed averaged less than 15 mph because of this and no real opportunity to crack open the throttle. If you are not hyper cautious or set up with HD aluminum skid plates, it was very easy to seriously damage your equipment. I noticed plastic skid plates, and other parts from previous riders strewn about the trails. The course had some direction signs at the lower elevations, but they seemed to get less and less the higher we went. I even got separated from my riding partner and was lost on some adjacent private property for 20 mins. The paper map they give you was useless and very hard to follow for our first time. We noticed that motor cycle riders had an even more challenging time navigating this course due to the very rocky conditions. One guy told us he'd never be back as it was far too much work and took his full concentration not to fall. There is a beautiful lake and a fantastic scenic overlook called Top of The World, which helped make the day of hard, tough riding worthwhile. I'm seeking softer riding trails with more dirt and a heck of a lot less rock. For that reason I won't be back. read more

Rocky Rocky Rocky! This is the 2nd time I've been to Lost Trails each about a year apart. My take away from the 1st visit is still the same a year later. The trails need to be groomed!! To many woopteedoos & way to many rocks on every trail! We will be going somewhere else next year for sure! The tails are so bad you or your machine are bound to get busted! We saw way to much of this happen and the trail markers and map they give your are just Terrible! Save your $$ and your wrists! If they groom once and a while the trails could be great! Until then I'm sticking with 1 star. read more

Apparently, their trails weren't good enough so they moved on to the nearby walking trail that had been beautifully maintained by volunteers from the Dunmore Historical Society. They completely tore up the walking trail, making it unusable on foot. Enjoy them, I did. read more

This place was the best experience I have ever had. Plan on getting very wet. A lot of water on the trial big and small. I was surprised as it had not rained in a while. Staff was informative on the operation of the machines and made sure you were comfortable on them without being over bearing with a lot of rules. 3 stars at best. If u like rocks, big, small, medium then this is the place for you. The couple miles long trail back to the complex is almost torterous. There are a couple nice mud holes and the top of the world was pretty cool but nothing extravagant where it's worth a 3+ hour drive to get lost trails. This was my first time ever riding an ATV and i had an amazing time. The tour guide was really kool and helpful. He was very insightful and patient. I veered off a bit at the VERY beginning and one of the other guys who worked there told me if it happens again id have to be pulled from the group. I thought that was a bit extreme. i didn't crash or run into anyone, we were only 2 minutes into the tour and it was my VERY first time on an atv. I chose the wild cat to have a fast fun exciting ride, I chose Lost Trails because in their ad they said you go through underground tunnels and on top of the world, well, neither happened. They put two inexperienced atv riders in front of us so we couldnt go fast, and we just went on trails. If I wanted a Sunday drive I wouldn't have paid the money I did to go there. I do like the amount of land they have but the trails are just way too rocky. You cant open the machine up or else you will destroy it. So much of the trails you are just crawling over rocks and boulders. Please get some heavy duty machines in there and make some smooth trails. This place has so much potential and I feel will eventually do the right thing. read more

I went here as a beginner on the ATV, thinking that it would be a great place because of all the good reviews but this place is only for professionals. The guys took me out on the trial with 7 other person. The guys in front that's leading just drives away and leave you and the one in the back was to never been seen. They didn't tell you what to expect or assist you On the trail. I paid $99 and about 2 mins of the trail I fell over with the ATV and hurt my leg and arms and they came to help me after about 5 mins and put me to sit in their 4 person ATV. I did not get any refund nor they did take me back to the ATV shop, I had to sit there and look at everyone riding their ATV. All they care about is getting paid and doing as little as possible. If you have your own ATV and want to break some rules then this is the best place to go. If you are a beginner and want to learn how to ride ATV on a trail, the beginner section means nothing here. read more

Trails are getting better every year.... It almost pains me to write a good review as it will only mean more traffic but Lost Trails does a great job ...lots more trails then the 1st time I rode about 4 years ago ...Signage is good for navigation and getting "home" what was a green easy trail when it was cut may now be a blue intermediate . Rocks you better like them most trails are pretty rocky but some are a total rock garden and may I add super fun. riders saying it's to rocky must be used to South Jersey sand or are just a novice. Now that said I was on vacation last week and went twice first on a Saturday with my 9 year old son, I would guess by looking at the parking lot there were about 100 riders out but it was never busy 75% quads 5% side by sides and 10% bikes (as were we) 1st I want to say my son is a better rider then some adults I know and has at least 200 hours under his belt but almost all in the sand he was on a XR100 and I was a little worried about how he would handle rocks & he had a blast rode almost all the green and blue trails and even accidentally went down a double black diamond & he is already asking to go again. I then went on Wednesday with my buddy I think there were about a dozen other riders and I felt like we had the place to ourselves and I think we rode everything from some wicked bolder fields to the ridge line trail with some awesome views and a real fun single track up by the lake that is way longer then when I rode it last year. It's great riding, I tore about 6 knobs off my rear tire so fun was had. read more
