Surf n turf. Nice presentation and thick cut fries!

Great food and service. Had dinner with a group of 5 on my vacation trip to Dublin. My chicken stuffed with spinach and on top of cheesy bacon mashed potatoes was heavy but really good. Highly recommend to chicken and potatoe lovers. Others in my group had the surf n turf and mussels. Everyone in our group enjoyed the dinner. No complaints and Reasonable prices.

Had a bacon and cheese burger and a Moroccan lamb burger made gluten free, very easy to order for dietary requirements and friendly service and very generous portion sizes!! Will be back this week for sure!!!

When you cross over the Ha'Penny Bridge to the Northside and walk down Liffey street you will see this place on the corner. It's a strange combination of a traditional bar and a modern bar. The corner front of it is of the traditional style and inside it's your normal quiet Irish traditional pub. A place to mull over a pint and watch TV. The modern part of the bar extends down the side alley. This is a jazz cafe style bar. A place were you can listen to someone playing the piano in a very relaxed setting. It never gets too busy but it never is dead either, just the right balance. Staff are excellent and very helpful. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this venture works. It suits every mood. They also have a good bar menu.

We had a fantastic evening here. Such an elegant yet homy feel to the place. My husband had the beef stew - beyond any beef stew I've ever had before. I had the coddle. My first time trying so can't compare, but it's now one of my favorite foods. (Tastes WAY better than it looks.) live music was a perfect touch to the evening.

Insanely popular with the after work crowd, it can be difficult to get a seat in the lounge of this bar after 6pm, particularly on a Friday. However, if you are in the market for a bit of flirtation, then this is the place to go, as you will be in close proximity to a lot of sweet young things who have just been paid. However, if you want to rest your legs, head next door to the little bar, which is a lot less packed and trendy.

Lotts is a mixture of a lot of things, a restauarant, a pub, a cafe and a function place. I have spent many a evening with friends in here for after work dinner and cocktails. The staff are friendly, eager to please and do their job well. The food is delicious and they give you the option of having Buckwheat pasta or noodles which is a really healthy option. They have various pasta dishes, chicken and steak dishes which are all delicious and well prepared. If you are not that hungry you can ask for a starter portion of a main course which is a really good option to have. In Lotts they are very generous and give a complimentary evening warmer; they bring you freshly baked warm bread and a little taster of one of their home-made soups for free. If you have not been to this place, I suggest you give it a visit. Trust me you will not regret it!

Overrated Not a pub but a brasserie. There is a pub on the corner but only serving drinks. The next door brasserie is quite wide and can get noisy. Free wifi. Our server did not know the range of beers he was serving, made an error when serving our food. We also asked our son to be served first and earlier and .. he was served last!

Good amount of food at a reasonable price. I was recommended this place by a tour guide because of the deal they had going of €35 for 2 steaks, 2 salads and a bottle of wine (€4 for additional sides). The food was good for the most part.

The burger was the best I've ever had. Good Irish Stew and reasonable prices. Local Pub close to Motel One with a great beer selection.

A group of us wandered down the dark alley one Sunday afternoon, a little anxious about what we might discover... Pleasantly surprised to find ourselves inside a Sleeping Beauty-like cavern of candlelit wonder, we stopped to marvel over the interior before giving the solitary bar man his rush of the century. The place was empty before we arrived, but luckily we'd brought a large enough group to make the entire place our own. The candelabras, mood lighting and high, domed ceilings make this place enchantingly atmospheric, but let's not forget the practicalities. Recipe for a good night with a large group: large tables - check, cheap beer (3.40 a pint!!!) - check, pool table - check... Ok this place is a winner. And get this - they even have a foozeball table! Rad! The toilets are definitely worth a gander... many, many mirrors, and easy to get lost in after a few pints of the dark stuff. Me and 1 of my friends decided to order some cocktails so we went to the bar to see what we could get I ordered a mojito and a White Russian for my friend. I should have known it would be a disaster when the female bartender had to as the waitress how to make it needless to say it was not very good. After a while my friend decided to get one more round before we left. Well to say we were shocked is an understatement. When the waitress came over she went to order a drink to which the response was cant you see I'm busy what's wrong with you going to the bar, as she turned and walked away and went back to the bar to chat with another member of staff. The girl that had been looking after us earlier I think had finished which was a shame. Needless to say we didn't stay for another drink. This would put me off going back I could understand if it was busy but service like this is not acceptable

The Wind Jammer is not, however, one of the really fun early houses. For fun early houses that serve already somewhat inebriated people, try The Chancery. The Wind Jammer is the type of early house that caters to shift workers and Gardaí from Pearse St coming off the night shift. Apart from a few couples the morning after the Trinity Ball, they wouldn't let in too many post-club revellers. The door is closed most early mornings, and they have a CCTV camera to give ya a good hard scrutinising before they'll let you in. The only time I was there for early pints, there was only one other group of young lads there and the barman looked like he was about to stop serving them. During the rest of the day and night, the Wind Jammer is a quiet pub frequented mainly by old, grumpy locals, who would sooner bite your head off than ask you the time of day. If you're really desperate for a drink and can't make it til half ten when the rest of the pubs open, by all means go to The Wind Jammer. Otherwise, there isn't that much else to recommend to it. Oh, one other thing. The Wind Jammer is the closest pub to Windmll Lane Studios, so U2 and The Saw Doctors among others have retired there for post-recording session pints over the years. Not the type of thing that would interest me, but sure it might interest you so I thought that I'd tack it on the end there
