My second class at Club Pilates and I'm ready to pull the trigger on a package. I took the CP Center+Balance class and loved it. What set this studio apart for me was having the reformer and tower in the same place. No need to switch rooms. Really nice to mix things up! As for the instructors, I had Eilish and Jessica. They were great. No nonsense, welcoming, patient, and really committed to maximizing the benefit we get from the class. For newcomers, feel comfortable signing up for a class. Excited to return after almost two years. I was extremely active at Club Pilates but life had me take a break due to becoming busy with other things. I started realizing there were muscles that I wasn't working out that starting to mess with my regular mobility. I joined back in July 2025 with the July promo as incentive (thank you) and glad I have. Jessica and aaijsha are incredibly knowledgeable and strong instructors. They know their stuff! Club Pilates has my heart This place provides the flexibility I need in order to keep my fitness goals a top priority. I love that I can schedule my classes in advance, to align with my remote work schedule. It's also super easy to cancel if needed. I've been able to keep a consistent workout schedule of 2 to 3 days per week and my body is so much stronger! Plus the people at the studio are such gems. They remember you and make you feel a part of the community. The instructors are great and you're always going to get something different, yet still familiar. I don't think I can ever go back to NOT doing Pilates. If you're questioning whether Pilates is right for you, the answer is yes. I wanted to update my review. I received a message saying someone returned my bottle and they put my name on it and set it aside this time and that might become a new policy. I hope so. When I was there I noticed a class going with people of all ages, shapes and sizes. To me this is a plus because it says that the space feels safe and inspiring to everyone and that the teachers can work with the body as it changes in strength and agility. My initial criticism was geared towards the management and how it treated people, namely me. I feel like, though they were slow to take responsibility, in the end they shifted to a more professional approach. I hope they take the critique and guidance from this example and avoid this kind of experience in the future. And, I might just come back for Pilates there, which says a lot about how I feel about the actual Pilates they are offering but the experience is the whole thing and I definitely would not have if my bottle hadn't been returned, mainly because I wasn't feeling an honesty that really matters to me. When I started at Club Pilates in the beginning of 2024 I loved it. Great instructors and great classes. As the year went on almost all of my favorite instructors either left or were fired. I kept up with it until December of 2024. I knew I was going to be starting school and wasn't sure I could afford it anymore. When I spoke with one of the staff members about cancelling my monthly membership she convinced me to "put a freeze" on my membership instead. I paid the fee for the freeze but I had no idea how much this one decision would come back to bite me in the ass. When I tried to cancel my membership during my month long freeze they informed me that I could not cancel it until the freeze was over and that they required 30 day notice. I unfroze my membership and was charged for the next month. Then I canceled my membership. I was told by a girl at the front desk that it was no problem and that I wouldn't be charged. I was charged AGAIN in March. I spoke to the manager and explained how I hadn't been to any classes since the beginning of December. She couldn't have cared less. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and provided the ridiculous paper trail and the number of times I had called and spoken to someone, each time being told something different. Club Pilates contested my dispute and I was so frustrated I just decided to let the fact that I basically paid $520 FOR NOTHING go. This week I received an email from Club Pilates telling me I owed them $45. This was the first email I had from them since the beginning of March. I called the billing department and was told that there was a return free of $25 from my credit card dispute and since that hadn't been paid they had added on a $20 late fee. This company is so messed up. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY. Do not start a membership, they will not let you leave without gouging your wallet first. read more

I was with this studio for 3 years. Initially, I enjoyed the sessions and trainers very much. However, during the last year I was there, after the new owners took over, the quality of instruction and studio machinery suffered greatly, with the mass exodus of qualified instructors, and a severe drop-off in available classes. When I realized that there were not enough classes available for me to make the unlimited monthly membership worthwhile, I cancelled. My wife had done the same a few weeks earlier for the same reason. We both received responses from the Studio acknowledging the cancellation (from Sam). Fast forward two months and the studio charged my card for another month of classes. I disputed with my credit card company, figuring the studio, when seeing their mistake, would have the integrity to reverse the charge and apologize for the mistake. But the owners of this studio do not have integrity, have probably never met integrity, and certainly do not get Christmas Cards from integrity. They claimed in their response to never have received the cancellation, and that I just stopped taking classes while being more than willing to "donate" my monthly fee to them. Bottom line - do not trust these people with your money or your health, they are far more interested in the former than the latter. To the owners - treating people like this will have consequences. I expect you will soon be held accountable for being the garbage business owners you are. read more

If you are thinking of going here- please read this whole review as somebody who attended for 3+ years: Definitely not the same place they were 3+ years ago! If you're looking for a money hungry, unclean environment and inexperienced teachers then Petaluma club Pilates is your place. When we first started we LOVEDDD Petaluma club Pilates. Owner was great and teachers were CERTIFIED AND EXPERIENCED. Fast forward 3 years and a change in ownership/management and the studio has done a COMPLETE 180° turn. A complete corporate nightmare now. First of all, the reformers only look cleaned where WE clean them after class. Look into any spring well or underneath the reformers to see it FULL of hair and dust 24/7. When management/ownership changed, we noticed half of the teachers that were there for YEARS either quit or got "terminated", we should have noticed that as a red flag but didn't. We even received a mass email to all in club Pilates from a teacher that was terminated talking about their unfair treatment and termination that was just insane (see it attached if interested). Currently, most of the teachers at THIS location are former front desk workers that took some type of workshop with club Pilates and became teachers the next day. Our last straw was hearing OUR "teacher" state that she has only ever took a "cardio sculpt" class one time because she "hated it" as she was ABOUT TO TEACH THAT SAME CLASS. Absolutely insane and unprofessional. My partner injured his back and asked for some modifications to some moves he was worried would worsen his condition to get told by the teacher "that's a good question, I'm not sure.. just stretch". And the worst of it all is trying to cancel. They require 30 days before billing cycle to cancel which makes sense but then take DAYSSS to respond back to any texts/emails and will delay response to try to get 2 months out of you instead of the 1 month upon cancellation then completely harass you. Unclear cancelling/needing of written notification will force you to have to stay for longer by the time the information is given and executed. Just pay more to go somewhere else or try out the Rohnert Park location if you really want to try Club Pilates as they have separate management. Just check out most of the recent reviews on here and Google and you will see all of this is a now common occurrence. read more

I have been a member of Petaluma for 3 years. Since the Southern California group took ownership, the turnover of experienced, knowledgeable, and very well liked instructors has been atrocious. I can rattle off the names of at least 10 who have quit because of management or been fired for no legitimate reason. With many years of corporate Human Resources Management experience, I can assure you that employees accept a job for the opportunity and salary and leave a job because of poor management. I can only assume the current management philosophy is to treat experienced instructors like shit, have them leave voluntarily or involuntarily, and hire newly certified instructors and pay them less. And essentially throw these new instructors, who are often fast tracked through certification, into all level of classes for which they are not really prepared to teach. Experienced clients want experienced instructors. I understand Novato and Greenbrae have the same situation. Because of poor management a large number of long time clients are fed up. My current annual membership expires in February, 2025. I foolishly renewed my membership for another year with an expiration date of February, 2026. I request my membership from 2/25 to 2/26 be void and my payment be returned to me immediately. read more

Still so pleased to have joined back in 2018! So much so that my daughter began to show interest and she's now a member, too! She just had her first class this past Friday and our trainer was very patient and happy to help her. Lois is a wonderful owner and has been very considerate of my needs. I had to take time off for a very intensive training Academy and it was hassle free. I was welcomed back with open arms by everyone. Special shout out to Terry, she's fantastic! Highly recommend this studio. I tried a studio 5 or so years ago in Burlingame and even though it was perfectly fine, it didn't have the same vibe and that's imperative when you're trying to align your body and mind. read more

I am beyond thrilled that I found Club Pilates! A new member of about 6 weeks, with several different chronic pain/joint/muscle issues (including 3 surgeries and permanent nerve damage in my foot) they have exceeded my expectations since day one. I would highly recommend this location to both the novice and the experienced. For the first time in my life, I have found an exercise regimen that I actually look forward to, doesn't flare my sensitive body, and actually leaves me feeling refreshed, challenged, and stretched/relaxed by the end of class. Although I occasionally attend various class times, I do have a go to weekly schedule and instructor, Terri. She has been fabulous! Modifications are automatically given for my problem areas so I'm never feeling left out or less than challenged. Her knowledge in both the body and Pilates is evident! The owner, Lois, has also been incredible. Because my body demands/limitations are different day to day, she has gone above and beyond to help me get the most out of my membership / monthly rate. As someone on a extremely tight budget, and sacrificing in other ways in order to invest in myself, I am SO VERY appreciative. The member and their experience is clearly what she cares about most, which is refreshing. (That point alone had me eager to write this review.) The Owner is only focused on making money and not the health of members. Be careful of the contract and promises Lois makes to you. 1. I quit due to the following issues and was billed for two months $366 in which I did not attend one class. Many phone calls and emails have been exchanged to try and get a refund. No refund was provided- just a message that the contract said I owed an extra month if I canceled and that telling the gym, and text message were not good enough to notify them. So strange because even the sweet desk girls knew I quit. OK, by strange contract I may have owed one month, but two? 2. Owner, Lois, had recruited me to join and promised I could put membership on hold as needed. "Hold" Was not available when I requested it, so I told her "OK, I will quit." 2. I had a serious incidence of cramping that scared me and the teacher. The owner did not follow up on it, instead, when she saw me she talked about that month's star chart. 3. She does not inform teachers of students health issues. Teachers have to ask students and students have to inform the teacher in front of the whole class. 4. She has gym members wash down the machines with towels that have been used by previous classes. 5. Classes were changed in my time slot- I needed to have the excellent teacher, Victoria, who understood my health issues, but she was given levels of classes I was not ready for. One of the other teachers told me that if I didn't do the exercise she said (standing up on machine and planking) that I was not going to get any benefit from the class. Be careful and if you know you can't do something, do not do it. Two members of my classes did get hurt. read more

I joined as soon as they opened, I have been going for a little over a month 3 times a week, the instructors are so passionate and know what they are doing, its all about doing it correctly and getting results without getting hurt. If you can't do something they make sure to give you something else to do. It's easy to book classes on line and the classes are never more then one instructor can give each person help.
