I called to schedule a new patient exam and was asked what I'm interested in. After answering that question (with my concern about potential skin cancer) was I told that the doctors are not accepting new patients. I told the receptionist that it was strange to be asked what I'm interested in first, if the doctor is not accepting new patients. I asked if the answer would be different if I was interested in cosmetic services and she told me "yes". There would be a significant wait, but I could schedule for a cosmetic consult, and I could not have medical concerns addressed at such a visit. This told me everything I need to know about this practice. Skin cancer, which is potentially lethal, is not something they have time for - cosmetics pay much more.

The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly, scheduling is easy, and the products are great! I highly recommend infra-red sauna, Azel products, general dermatology, micro-needling, and laser hair removal (all tried and worked!).

I went in for estradiol pellets to help relieve a few menopause symptoms. At a later visit, while describing new symptoms, Dr. Rastegar discovered and acknowledged she had forgotten to prescribe progesterone, which is a necessary part of this procedure. She inserted another estrogen pellet before addressing the issue, and added a prescription for progesterone. Once I started taking the progesterone, for the next few months I experienced heavy bleeding and painful cramping, ultimately requiring an ultrasound at my own expense that showed a thickened uterine lining, which is a documented result of receiving estradiol without progesterone. When I raised concerns about the prolonged bleeding, discomfort, and the initial oversight, the response was dismissive and framed as "just a risk of HRT". Dr. Rastegar held no accountability of her oversight, nor did she offer meaningful support. Hormone therapy requires careful management and follow-up. That standard was not met in my case, and I want other women to be fully informed before seeking similar treatment here.

I have been seeing Rachel since before she opened Highline and cannot imagine ever wanting or feeling comfortable seeing anyone other than the folks at Highline. I am grateful I found her! I'm not someone who wants to walk around with a frozen face just because a spa wanted to upcharge me on units. Rachel is the opposite. She is meticulous and knows how to achieve a natural, youthful look that isn't frozen or over-corrected. I am actually getting compliments on how good I look (it's summer so everyone thinks it's. tan - but it's not! It's Rachel's beautiful work). I'll be 40 in September and I look smooth and flawless. Best part is when I smile, it's an actual smile and not frozen-Botox look. FWIW, I've been getting Botox and Dysport for about 13 years. I've done it all - the big city spas that charge an arm and a leg (I was in San Francisco for 10 years), plastic surgeons in Denver and also spas in Boulder. I actually go and interview people before I commit because I am not about to walk around with a frozen face for six months because I was over-injected. I want to get a feel for how they treat their customers and I've seen it all. Boulder is lucky to have Rachel. She is on par with the spas in metro cities, which are very competitive and only those who understand a natural look survive. Can't sing her enough praises. She has a lifelong customer and that is coming from someone who won't work with other med spas in Boulder.

The woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful and fit us in together the same day despite it being a tight squeeze. I liked the half spa type thing they have going on, change your top but keep your pants on. The facial I received, the signature, wasn't as lux as other facials I've had but for the price I thought it was great. My only real issue was the lighting, when you're laying there trying to relax having a bright light overhead for the entire experience makes it difficult; at one point I had this lovely heavy mask on which finally darkened my eyes and was very literally in pain when it was removed due to the brightness of the lights on my eyes which had adjusted to darkness and my eyes started tearing due to the pain. Please, DIM THE LIGHTS! More spa like music would be nice too but I didn't really mind the Hozieresque music they had on. My daughter has dry, sensitive, acne prone skin and we went with the clear skin facial which is only 45 minutes but she didn't have much to say about it after other than "it was nice" so I'm not sure we got the impression and relaxation I was hoping for, she did also mention the pain of the bright lights in her face while laying on the table. Over all I really enjoyed my experience, it's a great option when you don't want to dedicate half your day to the spa, my tech Mo was very kind and skilled and I really enjoyed the time she spent working on my tight jaw muscles. Overall I would recommend this place and I would return myself. I do genuinely hope they figure out how to dim the lights because searing eye pain isn't very relaxing.
