My party was on Saturday, after I showed up at 5:15 Mercedes said she tells customers to come after 6:30pm, she had me wait because she said she needed to close the store so she can give me the tables. I took them, I called around 5 pm on Sunday (thinking it would be the same deal to drop the off) they didn't answer. It was closed. (On a side note, the day I was there, she was talking a lot of mess about her employee to another costumer in front of all the other costumers. She said some very private personal stuff about his mother's death and how he was good for nothing and he didn't help her at all. I want to run into him to tell him to quit that place!) I called on Monday and told her that wasn't given a time to drop them off so I assumed it would be the same as Friday. I worked until 8:30 pm so I would drop them off Tuesday. Tuesday morning I had a whole bunch of missed calls and a voicemail saying she was going to make a police report and report them as stolen. I called her back and told her I would drop them off on my way to work. She said "come now because I'm asthmatic and won't take them back if it starts to rain" when I dropped them I was setting them on the side walk. She said to bring them in the store because loading and unloading was not part of the service. She started to tell me that I am lucky she is not changing me for the extra days and was going to make sure they don't rent to me again. She said no rental business takes the chairs back past 5 and they always put a note on the rental agreement to bring them back before 3. I showed her the paper and there was no note nor was it ever communicated to me. At the end of the night she was taking pictures of me and my car. Then she called the next day to say chairs were missing, I told her I dropped them all off, she hung up and that was that.

The slide wasn't fully inflated, indicating a hole for air to escape. At the top of the slide, where water is supposed to midst or trickle down, the water just sprayed in the air, even when using the least amount of water pressure. For these reasons, I called the company. They called the driver who was supposed to call me. After waiting for 20 minutes, I called him. His advice...climb up and twist the hose so the water sprays the slide. For the lack of inflation, just adjust the fan in the back to shoot straight. I called the main customer service line to complain again, but this time, it's been over three hours since it was dropped off. The gal told me she was sorry and would get ahold of the driver and her boss to see what they could do. I never heard back from her and the driver showed up about 30 minutes later. He looked at it, said it was the best he could do and had nothing to replace it with. At this point in time, it was after 1pm and our rental was until 7pm. We spent almost $500 on this rental and did so because we've used Bay Area Jump for our special events for years. Clearly, good customer service and safety is no longer a priority. In the Bay Area, where there's a plethora of alternative choices, I'd highly suggest choosing another company for your events. Such a WASTE of money.
