I've been visiting this business for years but now I noticed that they have new management! In all my time coming here this is the first time the person at the desk let me know the ship time and greeted me. They are so professional and it's great to know the local DHL drop off location is reliable. I often ship DHL but the headquarters aren't nearby so this is a great value added. P.S. Came here to ship back some cycling gear to China. Instructions on returning the items back were confusing to say the least. I'm glad I came here and met Kai. Kai knew exactly what I needed to do and even made me copies of the waybill for customs saving me a trip home to print extra copies. The attendant at this location is a total jerk. I came for an appointment and i was in a hurry. So i asked him politely to help me process my paper early. He told me to wait by the counter. And he continued to sit at his desk as if nothing happens. After about 5m minutes he dragged his feet to the counter and told me that it's not time for him to help me yet despite the fact that there's nobody else in the store. Like the other reviews suggested, the one guy working has nothing better to do than sit on his computer and waste your time while you sit in an empty room with no others to be helped wondering if he forgot you were here. Eventually he will comically drag his feet over almost to help like it's a chore. I now arrive 15 min late here if I have to come to this location, and that seems to shave off some time wasted. Had an appointment showed up exactly on time in the middle of a workday during my lunch and was made to wait. Another customer and I walked in, him ahead of me- and got to the counter at the same time. The guy at the counter "can I help you?" and I answered I have a 1.20 pm appointment and the other customer said go ahead. The guy behind the counter declined and proceeded to tell me to go back to the entrance and sit and wait. Obviously the customer guy knew he would be a while because they proceeded to take 20 minutes. When I asked the counter guy how long of a wait I should expect to determine if I should leave and come back he was very rude and curt and basically said go back to the entrance wait, we are allowed 20 minutes. Other kind guy did not have an appointment and instead of them prioritizing the appointment they proceeded to serve them and it took forever, even though the other customer had offered me to go ahead because he recognized I had an appointment. Why have appointment slots if you won't honor them? People choose to book a time slot instead of waking in for the exact reason of not having to wait! This is ridiculous I definitely don't recommend if you have a small window and don't want to wait. At this rate I may have already been serviced had I walked into a post office. I was finally served at 1.40 and by 1.46 was back in my car. So the process took all of 5 minutes. 5 MINUTES! Imagine if he had logically honored the appointment... 1. Rude and curt like someone else mentioned in another review. 2. Photo/fingerprints customers treated like second class. My theory is you already paid so have to wait or come back. 3. Understand you will wait and they have a 20 minute window to serve you per him telling me that- so factor that into your time when you book and show up. Good Luck. read more

Recently I had to move my daughter to college in Chicago. I brought in eight large boxes that had to be shipped out, insured to be received by a very tight deadline. Vincent was amazing! He made sure not only that all the boxes were properly insured weighed and sealed, but even followed up with a phone call to put me at ease that they would all get there in the time promised. I went to this center for the first time today (11/29/17). The prices are VERY inflated. I ended up taking one of my three packages to the Post Office after he quoted me the price for regular USPS shipping. The quote was not $2-3 more, it ended up being $8- 9 more. I did ship two other packages, simply because I did not have boxes to ship them in. However, ​I would not come back because of the inflated prices - there are other shipping stores available. UPDATE: One of the boxes I sent form this location was delayed by ​shipping. When I called the center to follow-up, the owner was argumentative and told me he shipped the package. Not happy. I went to ship my Mom's Birthday gift. I wanted to ship it 2nd day, and I was quoted $77.00 for UPS. Approx the same for Fed Ex. This shipment was (1) pound and very small (jewelry). I thought that was extremely excessive, and consequently ended up shipping standard which meant my Mom wouldn't receive her Birthday gift until after her Birthday. I paid $20.00 and change. I got a freight estimate from USPS for the same. $34.00. And, the boxes are free!!!!!! Needless to say, I am not happy. The older lady helping me seemed like she didn't really know what she was doing. Her customer service skills were lacking. I won't be returning. Very undeserving of any stars!! Came here to drop off my mail into the mailbox outside this business. I hadn't looked before I went inside this place. So, I asked the person at the front counter if postman had picked up the mail. This person couldn't have been the owner because an owner wouldn't have responded in as tacky as this person did to me. He said, "go read the mailbox and you'll see" He didn't even look at me when he was saying this. This was the ruddest anyone had ever been to me and I didn't even do any business here. I just stopped by since it was my first time in this store I thought about opening a p.o box or doing business here. Well, I'm glad at least I found out I wouldn't be using this store for anything in the future. If this is how prospective customers are treated, no thank you. I can't imagine how the real customers get treated. No sir!! I will take my business elsewhere. After all, there's more mail stores in this area. It was empty when I got there.
