I've had my box for over 20 years. I've dealt with the old owner Susan and now the newer and current owner Jeremy that took over in 2017? Owner Jeremy is a stand up Owner. He's ALWAYS been helpful and goes out of his way to let me know if a package has arrived for me or does something to make it easier on me. I've been a customer of the Mailbox station since the 80's. Back then the owner was the awesome Susan. Was very sad when I heard she sold the place and worried I would not have the same great experience with the new owner Jeremy. Well, it's been more than a few years now and Jeremy is awesome! He's always helpful and very accommodating to his customers. I always have my mail when I need it, unlike the post-office, where god forbid they actually walk to my front door to leave a package. I'm able to drop off all my outgoing packages which is a must in these days of online impulse shopping. And I'm able to access my box during closed hours which can be helpful, One of the best things about using Mailbox station is my business address a) is static between moves and b) does not appear like a PO box. It's a street address and suite (box) number. Having an address on Main St in HB is like icing on the cake! Honestly, I don't know what I would do without the Mailbox Station as it's is a very important part of running my business. read more

You can have fed ex or ups packages delivered here and Jeremy is great about letting you know when they are ready for pick up. I love that I am able to access my box even they aren't open. It's in a great location and easy to get in out. Bonus for me it's close to work so I can easily access my mail or packages. If you are in market for a PO Box this is place. Needing a mailbox for a new business venture and sent out a message blast to all surrounding cities through YELP's quote finder and the only one whom returned my response was Jeremy, the new owner of Mailbox Station, H.B. The manner in which he responded and the professionalism of his answers lead me to believe, the Citizens of H.B are very lucky to have him as this locations new proprietor. He cares a great deal about his customers and about potential new customers. We're not sure location wise, this is the best fit for us, but because of the professionalism of Jeremy, the distance may be worth the fruitful relationship. read more

Terrible customer service. Has an attitude about everything, like he's doing you a favor by letting you rent a box from him. Closes at 4pm yet somehow closes at 330pm or even 3pm sometimes. Take your business elsewhere. *** 4/16/2018 UPDATE *** I hadn't noticed the reply to my review until today, 4/16/2018, so I'm adding a more thorough explanation. Most people purchase private mailboxes for the safe acceptance of their packages (nobody wants a package left on their front porch all day while they are at work), and they want to pick up their packages when they get home from work. The listed hours at this business are Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm, and closed on Saturdays. That's 30 hours per week. Basically, this is a part time business offering part time services. Anyone working a 9to5 job can't pick up their packages without scheduling time off work. Compare TMS's (The Mailbox Station) 30 open hours to: The UPS Store (1 block away) which is open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:30pm and Saturday 9:00am to 4:00pm. That's a total 'open' time of 59.5 hours per week for the UPS Store. Additionally, the UPS store has, on average, four employees available at any given time to assist you, and they know their box holders. Compare TMS's 30 open hours to: the US Post Office (1 block away) which is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday and closed on Saturday. That's a total 'open' time of 40 hours per week for the post office. Additionally, the post office has, on average, three employees available to assist you. Regarding TMS posted closing time of 4pm, that's not always the case. I asked a FedEx driver what their normal delivery hours were to TMS. He stated all drivers knew they had to arrange their days in order to drop off packages early because he's often closed by 3:30pm. And that's directly from the mouth of a FedEx driver. The previous owner of this business, Susan, was thoroughly dedicated to her customers and dedicated to providing excellent service. The new owner is not. In direct contrast to Susan, he has a general disdain for his customers. If you ask a question or need help with something, he gets annoyed. This is an honest review from a HB local (I've maintained a residence downtown since 1997). Hopefully this review helps other people make an informed decision about where to rent a mailbox for their personal and/or business use. A few more things: 1) Jeremy, the owner, contacted me through Yelp's message system and offered me $20 to change my review to a 5 star review. I'm pretty sure that's against Yelp's TOS for business owners to pay for reviews, but maybe I'm wrong. 2) "34 years of service". I'm not sure of the exact length of time this business has been open, but 34 years is probably right, give or take. However, The current owner has only owned it a few years, and I'm not the only person that has canceled their mailbox as a result of the change of ownership. 3) After I posted my review, the owner called my father (who is 72 years old) and basically became unhinged over the phone, screaming and yelling and ultimately threatening my father with something along these lines, "If you want to keep your box at my store, you need to change that review to a 5 star review." 4) The owner is right that I'm not an official box holder ...sort of. When he bought the store from the previous owner, I had one conversation with him and knew I no longer wanted to have a box there and I purchased a box at the UPS Store. However, I kept getting junk mail at my old address, and Jeremy (the new owner of The Mailbox Station) pressed my father for $100 to move my mail to my father's mailbox. Unknown to me, my father paid him the $100. Although I'm not an official box holder any longer, the owner did accept a $100 from my father to make sure my junk mail wasn't lost. 5) As a result of the events surrounding this review, my father purchased a mail box at the UPS Store and is in the process of changing his mailing address with his clients. My father, as a result of Jeremy screaming and yelling at him, is afraid to enter the The Mailbox Station and waits until the store is closed to get his mail. Additionally, my father is concerned that Jeremy will destroy the mail that comes to his box in retaliation for the review. Based on what I've heard from my father's interaction with Jeremy and from my personal interaction with Jeremy, I would have to agree there is a high probability he will destroy my father's mail in retaliation. My father has explicitly asked me not to interact with Jeremy until the mailing address transfer is complete. This will take at least a few more months as my father has quite a few people to notify. But once the address change is complete, I will visit Jeremy at his store and speak with him face to face about this situation. I wonder if he will yell and scream at me in the same manner as he did toward a 72 year old man. We shall see. read more
